Had a great experience moving from London to Edinburgh. Ivelin was fantastic. After we decided to move it wasn’t clear whether our house would complete on time and he was very flexible with potentially changing the address or the date of the move at no cost as long as informed within 10 days of the move which was really reasonable. I don’t think any of the big moving companies would have been so flexible. The team was great. A long day for them, but they were energetic and positive throughout. A great experience!

From the initial quote by Eva, to price adjustment and a last minute change of address but were accommodated by Ivelin and Lubo. We had been very impressed with the team upto this point. However as the move day was due in a few days, it became apparent that we had not been given enough boxes to pack and we even used our own boxes and black bags. This was not a big deal until the move day came. On the day, the team arrived on time and were friendly, but it also became apparent that for the work needed, the team was one or 2 people too short. We had asked for a furniture and re-assembly service. The supervisor was the only one who would working on this part of the work. To cut a long story short, the total time for the move which should have been done in 6-8 hours, took nearly 12 hours. This was also with the addtional comments that the boxes were too heavy, we had too much furniture and we should get rid of some of it. Moving is stressful enough without this added commentary throughout the day. We were told the computer and monitor and other furniture would be given protected wrapping to store them in, but no, nothing and some of it was left in the garage and had water damage. This was exhausting, but because the furniture re-assembley was taking so long, no boxes were moved upstairs. Not one. The fridge freezer was not left where we wanted in the kitchen but in the dining room as the supervisor did not want to take the door handles off. The wardrobes were a bit haphazardly placed. On the plus side at least the 2 guys did fix in the washing machine. From the office side, they underestimated what was needed in terms of packing materials and manpower, to the supervisor' condescending attitude and stupid commentary throughout the day which was unprofessional, this experience has turned us off and we would never use this company again. We even offered Ivelin the chance to talk about this but he has not called us back. Word to the wise, double check everything and choose your movers carefully. Update: 16/07/18 In response to the reply I would like to clarify a few things which are incorrect. Thank you for the first line of your reply, but I notice you have not included any apology for your supervisor's conduct. To clear up the tips situation, I was not aware the extent of the bad manners until afterwards and was told all of what was said and happened afterwards. I was aware of some gripes but the extent it was was totally unprofessional. Hence I am furious. On top of this I gave you 2 full weeks to get back in touch with me after letting you know on email and it was only when Checkatrade got in touch that you tried calling. I agree with you the packing of clothes in black bags was agreed, the reduction in manpower was left with you as we are not experts in this matter. We went with your judgement. I appreciate you would ask where items are to be left but this was part of the problem with the supervisor. There is plenty of room in the kitchen, all it meant was taking off the handles of the fridge to get it through the door. Again very disappointing and the attitude of the supervisor needs to change.

this may be a slightly long review but please read through to understand the exceptional service Big Blue Squirrel, especially Sana the store manager of Essex, provided me with. I used to live in the UK but had to move abroad and left mybelongings at a storage facility. After finding a moving firm to internationally transport my belongings, i was informed the firm had to go into liquidation and I was informed to collect my belongings at theor facilities in the short time from i was given. Being overwhelmed with frustration, i went on the UK self-storage page to find a place reliable to have my stuff moved in and thet is where i came across the name Blue Squirrel. Sana was the one to pick up when i frantically reached out and explained her the situation. She soothed all my worries and even guided me into a reliable mover as I am not physically in the uk to bring my stuff to Blue Squirrel. after that, Sana literally took over my case, put me in touch with the mover, prepped the contracts and aided me to submit all the documentations online. Today was the day my stuff was moved into Blue Squirrel and even before the truck was unloaded, I had a photo in my mailbox from Sana to depict the safe arrival of my goods. She took care of the movers and even arranged me a padlock that i obviously couldnt bring, She drafted a holding consent letter for the keys. I would explain more how helpful she was throughout this entire process, alleviated a major burden off of my shoulders. I can expand more on all the things she did to make my move without my presence smooth for me especially after the unfortunate event i have been through but I would suggest you trying it for yourself. You wont regret as my only regret is not to have opted to store my belongings with Big Blue Squirrel in the first place.

We have moved house five times in the last six years and can honestly say these guys were by far the best removal men we have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble, they worked incredibly hard all with a smile - and a sense of humour that lasted to the end of the day even in 35 degree heat! Really great crew who all got on really well with each other and were so respectful of all of our belongings, they went above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend them more - they simply were fantastic. We had Jason, Jonathon, Will and Phil at the helm. Thanks for making the whole move so much easier, see you in a year when we move into our forever home!

We had Graham and Dwayne from your Exeter branch carry out our packing and removal service, moving us from Somerset to Cambridgeshire. The two of them were polite friendly and extremely hard working throughout. The standard of work was exemplary and when unpacking they checked the location of boxes and items they were unsure of. All items arrived in the same condition that they were packed in. If I was to move again I would definitely be contacting Bishops again. I have no negative comments at all about the experience.

We had an unusual request for our delivery, namely awkward hours 2 drop offs and 2 pick ups with one at 4am for our twins 21st birthday party. Numerous companies would not help. At short notice, B Moved came to the rescue, communication was brilliant. Bart arrived early was pleasant and polite, in a jiffy the van was packed and we were off to our destination. At 4am once again with a smile and still very pleasant we were collected and returned to home. The whole process was faultless, smooth and efficient all down to the expertise of B Moved. If you asked me 1 month ago I probably would have done 4*. I don't write reviews, but I just want to give my warning. They will change your policy with no warning, and no accommodation if that changes whether or not you would have used their service (details below). I was storing with this company for almost a year, their model was too good to be true and I knew it from the beginning. They offered free pickup, packing, and storing of my stuff with unlimited free subsequent pickups and returns all while price matching other storage units in my area. They changed the policy a couple months ago (December 2019 I think) with an informative email about how you can only get 1 free pickup/delivery per month. That took me from 5* down to 4* for a review, but was understandable. I went on today to schedule my free monthly dropoff/pickup, and they had changed the policy without so much as sending an email telling me that it had changed. The policy now has a truck fee of $50, and a fee for each and every item of $9. I then called in to their support line to see if there was some sort of mistake because that makes it so their service is so much worse than a conventional storage unit rather than them being way better. I was met with an unapologetic employee that flippantly said I probably just didn't read the email ( I can assure you I did not receive an email). They didn't even seem to care to keep my business. I told them point blankly well this ruins your service for me, and their response was well I hope you have a good rest of your day... really? I am now in the market for a new storage unit so I can get my stuff out of their hands. I tried this service because they fought for my business, I got a quote online and it was much higher than a conventional unit, and they called me and offered to price match any unit I could find. Unrelated to my main grievance they damaged several of my items, I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with those things because stuff happens when moving things, but it was like 5% of my items that were damaged. Honestly they warrant a 1* review, but I never read 1*s so I actually wanted my review to be seen by people and save some rational person some amount of time, money and hassle.

I've only done local moves in the past so I looked to friends, family and even social media to get info on movers. One of good friends from college recommend this business. I checked them out and got all the info. I compared their rates and reviews with a couple of other options in the area. They checked out as being the best possible option for moving out of state so I booked the move, In just 2 days everything arrived. No damage or stress along the way. Never have done an out of state move before with a full apartment filled with 8 years of living. My last out of state move I only had one large bag so this was a whole new experience that made me apprehensive. I planned early and took notes from multiple companies. Cross Country Long Distance Movers gave me the clearest responses to all of my questions, they were flexible with availability and very professional over the phone. In the end I felt most comfortable speaking to them. They were NOT pushy at all to get my business. When it came down to the move their team worked hard on a hot summer day, dripping with sweat 30 mins in and kept a smile on their face. They didn't loligag or take breaks at all besides for water. They took my business seriously and treated me like real VIP. I was able to get moved into my place in great spirits from the successful service. They're definitely work checking out.

Moved a 2 room apartment from the 3rd floor to ground floor within 4 hours. All items were pre-packed and I also had 3 friends to help with the move. It also included a trip to Lauritz in Herlev and back. Just make sure to negotiate your deal beforehand, as you might get it even cheaper than e.g. buying a voucher via groupon.dk

The driver was extremely nice guy, all went perfectly with the moving but all my tries to arrange the exact date/time during the day last Saturday failed miserably as there is no customer support during the weekend (I finally received a call by the company in late Sunday) while the driver was responding to my questions in the website`s chat once in a day.... So, instead of Saturday I had to move my stuff on Monday

I booked 2 movers with a 14 cubic meter van to help us finalize our move, including carrying all the heavier things (fridge, sofa, tv, etc.) down from the 3rd floor with no elevator. The movers we're really nice and efficient so the move went smoothly and quickly. The price was also good - we can definitely recommend them :)

Chris and his team arrived on site as agreed on the day we moved house. They set about loading the van carefully wrapping delicate items. When we reached our new address the same care was taken unloading the van. They saved us a fair bit of time and effort suggesting the best way to unload the van and position everything in our new place to its best advantage I can't recommend them highly enough for a job well done, we don't plan to move again for a long time but if and when we do i'd definitely use Edinburgh Ideal Removals again. Transit Systems Inc. (TSI) located at 999 Old Eagle School Road | Wayne, PA 19087 will not complete my shipment for my FL to WA. I made it very clear before I scheduled the service that I my items would arrive before Aug 23rd so that my computer, research documents, and books would arrive before my college semester begins which I was guaranteed. My receipt from my order posted that my order was scheduled to arrive on the 10th of August 2021. Not only does my tracking number not work I am constantly being disconnected and sent in circles when I contact the company. With these delays, my semester since began and without my computer files and research items and I now currently have an ‘F’ on my Capstone Thesis which jeopardizes my graduation as this is the last semester of senior year. When finally getting through to distribution manager Bob Whitehead and Company director Cathy Temple I was promised a new date of arrival which has now passed and when I was It has now been 59 days since pickup with no resolution in sight. I have had to call TSI literally 20 times over the past few weeks as I am constantly disconnected or transferred to people who have no helpful update on my order. I understand that we are living in unique times under the pandemic, but there is no excuse that warrants the nightmare they have put me through. I have been accidentally CC in emails by the Distribution Manager writing that he did not know the status of my of my order. Not only is this vastly unprofessional, he should is in charge and should know. Never has a “I’ll call you back” EVER resulted in a call back. Each week I am still left in the dark and the delayed shipping dates of sept 6th blew past and now their second AND THIRD projection for the following weeks gone by as well. It has now been exactly two months since my order was first sent out and I have no resolution. I believe this company is fraudulent. Steer Clear!

We had several big boxes shipped from Florida to Kansas. The people on the telephone with whom I worked to arrange shipping were very helpful. However, the boxes arrived later than expected and, worst of all, were severely damaged (AS IN CRUSHED WITH ITEMS FALLING OUT) when they finally arrived. The first time they tried dropping off the boxes, my husband was home and working where he could be seen through our large windows. The company said they came by the house and no one answered the door. My husband was home all day. I am very disappointed with the TSI service and the care with which they handled my boxes. I didn't buy the outrageously priced insurance as I thought they would just do their jobs appropriately for the large price we paid to ship. SHIPPER BEWARE!!!! It's a good thing that I will never use their services again, as I have to include my email address.

If the expectation is just that they pick up what you give them from an address you give them and deliver it to the address you give them, then UniRelo meets those expectations. What we didn't realize is that UniRelo does a great job of only promising this while making it look like they do a lot more. On the surface UniRelo looks like a cheaper alternative to more "branded" shippers, but they end up costing the same and will cause you anguish for long periods of time with half promises. Here's our recent moving experience in detail: Moved from Pittsburgh, PA to Delhi, India. The estimate provided put the total cost at $1347 for 100cu.ft + $8.50 per additional cu.ft (which for our 224 cu.ft + 30% for paletization should have come to around $2900), but we ultimately ended up paying close to $4.2K for the whole shipment. There is a specific piece to the estimate which really made the thing a sham. The quote they give you is based on an estimated volume which is calculated using 2 parts. The first part is the volume of boxes and furniture etc that you plan to ship. The second part is a percentage that is added on to the first part to account for "palettization" of the shipment. This percentage is estimated to be 30% (see snapshot from quote). We were ultimately invoiced for 70% greater volume. Our total volume of shipment (non-paletized) was 224 cu.ft. We got billed for 382 cu.ft. When asked about this, we were told that they were helping us by making sure our stuff was handled properly (in response to other concerns we raised, which I will get to in a second) by using 2 crates rather than 1 (we did not care for the patronizing tone employed on us here). We chose to pack the boxes and everything ourselves, Unirelo gave us a time when they would pick up our stuff. On the day, 1 man (the driver) showed up with incorrect information about how many boxes he had to pick up. Following some coordination initiated and largely facilitated by us, we were able to get him to pick up all the pieces of shipment. In addition, we had to facilitate the moving of everything from our house to the truck ourselves as there was only the driver who showed up at the end of the day with no equipment (like a dolly or cart), with a truck that was almost full before our stuff was even loaded. Another helper showed up, the guy was hired help from a website. The 50 inch TV we were shipping would not slot in easily and the UniRelo person kneed the box into place on its side (pictures attached). We raised major concerns about the way our shipment was being handled. We were assured that everything reached the warehouse safely and photos were sent. The photos did not contain all of our stuff. Yes, we were very worried. When we raised this concern, they just said that everything is there, don't worry. It was in response to our complaint about the way the TV was loaded and boxes precariously placed that they said they packed everything in 2 wooden crates in addition to paletization!?. Felt like they were punishing us (which raised the palettized volume to 70% greater) for raising concern about how they handled our stuff. Several follow ups were needed to get any documentation from them that looked acceptable. On the day of the pickup we were handed an empty document with no mention of what was picked up, instead they asked me how many pieces of shipment there are and wrote that number on the document and gave it to me. The number they wrote was incorrect. To give an idea of what I had to do to even get this document handed to me: I spoke to the lady who gave us the quote, after which I was put on the phone with the east cost head of UniRelo, following which I spoke to the driver's boss, following which I had to ask the driver to look for an envelope with a yellow document in it (which I still am not sure if we found the right one), following which I had to make a copy of it after he wrote the number 41 across the paper. I was promised a detailed list the next day as everyone was off for the day (per the east coast head), it never showed up. Eventually the driver got pissed off with everything, the people on the phone seemed to be getting angry with me for demanding that they at least give me a receipt for what was picked up!!? Following our past experience with moving countries, there is a formal process of identifying, tagging and noting down every box and item along with detail about what is inside them. Then a document is provided to us by the movers listing everything with a signature at the bottom. To get the Bill of Lading and Invoice, it required several follow ups. The first Bill of Lading they gave us had a typo in the destination address. When asked for a new one, we were first told that it just an honest mistake and it is fine. Someone from their own company who was cc'd on the email responded stating that is not acceptable and they should provide a new Bill of Lading. The day the shipment arrived (2 months later) miraculously all our stuff arrived. Some crystal ware is broken, TV does not show black as black anymore, handful of boxes have signs of damage and ill handling (dented edges, torn sides, crushed faces, etc see pictures). In addition, we were invoiced for custom and duty charges of 29K INR, apparently by the Indian Government. UniRelo has still not provided us with the bill or receipt from the government for this amount, despite us asking for this several times. They insisted that we pay the amount first before they can provide the receipt - our stuff could not be released without the money apparently. :( We should note in all fairness that the india experience was smooth, the stuff arrived early and was offloaded by two guys efficiently and in a timely manner with little fuss. In summary, if you should use UniRelo, pray that you are one of the lucky ones who is treated well by them. We read reviews before we used them, there was little sign of this happening, the allure was the price. If you do insist on going with UniRelo, have them pack your stuff, do not go for the all or nothing insurance plan. Best of Luck.

Bob Lonek was very helpful and professional. His experience with international shipments made the process go smoothly. Great job! The delivery team in France was also excellent, wrestling furniture up the narrow 500 year old stone stairway. Excellent work - they well deserved the tips I gave them. I highly recommend Schumacher if you are planning an international shipment. This was our first - a bunch of furniture to our new home in France. There were many unknowns and details we were not familiar with, and Schumacher made it happen. I was lucky; I found Schumacher on the Web and liked their client recommendations. Later, when our shipment was en route, people my wife works with learned about the move and asked if we were using Schumacher, 'The best in the business.'

The movers who came to pick my things up did an outstanding job. A+ work. The guys who delivered my things to Texas delivered everything as it was supposed to be but did not put any effort to help with things like putting back together the dresser mirror. B- My contact Marcus was very nice but gave me wrong information about how to pay and wrong information about the name of the secondary moving company. These guys wanted cash and I had been instructed to give them a cashiers check. So I had to go to the bank before they would start delivering my household items.

I would absolutely NOT recommend working with Independence Van Lines for your moving needs. I have moved a number of times, but this was by far my worst experience. Independence VL is a broker and unfortunately won’t take responsibility for abusive and unprofessional practices of the moving companies they work with. I scheduled my move from Los Angeles to Chicago through Independence VL and was asked for an initial deposit based on an estimated volume. Having previous experience with moves and wanting to avoid stress and additional fees the day of my move, a week before my move I provided an updated inventory list. We recalculated volume and I provided an additional deposit per their request. The day of my move, a company called Map Express Logistics showed up and told me the volume calculations were wrong and I had an additional 536 c.f.!!! (DOUBLE the volume on my original estimate) and they needed $4,000 more to proceed with the move. I decided to cancel my move and lost the $2,387 deposit I had already paid to Independence VL. For reference, I ended up hiring a different moving company which at pick up calculated an additional 80 c.f. and charged $300 extra from the quote they had given me. Nowhere near the additional 536 c.f. and $4,000 this company wanted to overcharge. Stay away from Independence Van Lines and their partners. Moving companies have always been known for shady practices and their partner relationships are a grey area. Go with a moving company that owns their own equipment and charges a fixed deposit at the time of booking.

I hardly ever write reviews, but these guys really did an exceptional job. Not only did they move my entire apartment from NJ to FL for the best (honest) price I was offered (and I got like 8 offers) but they did it all without any damage. The salesperson I spoke to, Nathan, assured me I'd have great service, but I was impressed nonetheless. I mean, after reading moving day horror stories online, I was expecting the worse, but they were quick, and most importantly, they really knew what they were doing. Due to high expenses, I have to move my office to Leeds as I was not making good money. I was looking for cheap removers. My last experience was bad, as I was not able to tell my requirements, and some of my PC;s were broken. Worst experience ever! First of all they showed up late and with only 2 movers instead of the 3 we requested. So we had to wait for the 3rd mover before they could start. Turns out the movers were working a double shift and they started slowing down after a couple of hours and had to have breaks that we were paying for. Second, they damaged my kitchen table dropping it because of their fatigue. Then my coffee table got so scuffed up because they were putting boxes on it. And even worse, after I complained about the coffee table and how it was so damaged (previously in pristine condition), due to one mover sliding boxes along the coffee table instead of putting boxes on the floor, the mover got in trouble and he found my cell phone to send me malicious messages, calling me a racist and saying awful things. This scared me because he knows where I live and he shouldn’t have access to my contact information. Now to top it all off, when the furniture repair person couldn’t restore the furniture to the original condition, after 2 months of back and forth, they only would compensate us with $150 even though our ruined furniture is worth about $2500. It’s been a month and we haven’t received the $150 they begrudgingly agreed to. IF YOU HAVE NICE FURNITURE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I would like to state in advance that I was misled by (probably cherry picked) positive internet reviews into thinking this company would do a good job at a much lower cost than the typical "national moving companies." I was such a believer that I didn't believe I needed insurance, so I didn't get any. I'm not one of those people that want to sue over a scratch or a true accident. I felt that Liberty Bell was a Maine Company and would therefore take great care to do a good job. I couldn't have been more wrong, as it was a nightmare. First, they loaded their 26' Van, allegedly 1 of the 17 vans in their fleet. On my moving day they told me that they had only the one van available and that I would have to rent a U-Haul truck. I asked how large and they told me a medium size would do. Once I rented the truck , they said "since it wasn't their equipment" they now demanded two-hundred fifty dollars per hour to load it. Having just purchased a new house 80 miles away, I was already running low of available funds and elected to hire three men from a reputable local auctioneer who we gave some of our furniture and other belongings to sell. We had a large 4 bedroom house and were moving to a smaller three bedroom house. These men loaded not one, but TWO medium U-haul trucks even after the auctioneer collected items to be sold. So much for their professional estimate. I supervised the loading of these trucks and locked with high security locks them as soon as each was full. I was the only one with the keys. On my day of moving, I watched the Liberty Bell movers literally throwing some of my items on to the grass below. They saw me watching and then bent down to let my belongings fall to the ground. All the cartons were heavy duty cartons and clearly marked with wide yellow tape and black marker as to what room it belonged in. At least 75% were randomly put in the house and garage. OK, but, I'm 72 and had to move everything to its true place. The only good from that was the two pants size I lost moving my items to where they should have been. I am being treated for COPD. How did my non-insured items fare? One printed paint had the glass shattered. Two large and old oil paintings had slashes in the canvases. A hand painted dressing scree had a hole kicked into one side, a Marine radio antenna was broken in two places (1.5" fiber glassHow do you do that?) One strange observation I made was that anything I had that used a key to open would no longer work with the key for it. I had to drill my 5 drawer file case lock to get into it. I had that cabinet for more than thirty years with NEVER a problem. I had to break open my strong box (fire safe box) by throwing it off the porch to the cement since my key no longer worked. The last insult was that the box of our entire collection of kitchen knives, (many of which were quite expensive) never made the trip. It has taken me months to write this as we had a lot of boxes and I wanted to be sure I knew what I was talking about. I called the CEO of Liberty Bell to let him know about his service, also informing him that I did not take the insurance and was NOT looking for money. He did not even closely resemble a person interested in my call. I told him his "Company didn't know what the hell they were doing" and I wanted him to know that first hand and not to be surprised when he see's my negative review . All he could say is "that if I continued to use such language the call would be terminated. Given his laissez-faire attitude, I told him there was no point to discussing this matter further.
