LEASE READ BEFORE USING PLEASE READ BEFORE USING We used these for our office move and to say it was bad is a understatement first of all there own staff swearing complaining about the job they have been asked to do,Damage to numerous desks, scratches on pc, sat round watching football on their phones drinking tins of lager, BUT THIS IS NOT THE WORST PART Two mobile phones missing from our office POLICE INFORMED One lad caught on cctv but the manager says the quality is not good enough. I really wish I didn’t have to leave a review like this but they have left me no choice, all I asked for is the phones back or replaced, I showed the manager the cctv and he just dismissed it but yet told me he isn’t denying it, so what does that mean, still waiting to hear from them for a solution!

I arrived at the Hyattsville location at 8am 7/17/20. I located my truck with the code that I see in my phone. I checked; it was ready. But when I was about to get in, I was harshly stopped by a U-Haul employee saying that they prepared it for someone else. I show him my reservation and the matching vehicle code on it; he said does NOT matter and made me do the check-in again manually, on-site, without a face covering. This alone caused my very precious 30mins from my move-in window. I finally picked up the truck arrived my move-out address only to realize the utility doll I ordered is not in the truck! Meanwhile, I am having sms arguments with the move helpers (MoverHelper) as they want to change the time from 9am to 11:30am. After some argumentation, I had to agree to that as I had no other option. So, I carried everything on my back alone and manually with no utility tools! Move-out supposed to be done by 10am but I could only complete it by 11am. Then, I had to go to the U-Haul store again to get the utility doll because it is actually a must for the move-in to a 12 floor building (move-out was from a single family house). It was 11:45am when I arrived at the move-in address. And again, the move helpers want to change it to 1pm this time. My move-in reservation ends at 12pm/noon. We ended up treating each other in sms!!! Because of all this complications, I was under a huge stress and rushing around, scratched the front top of the truck to the wall of the loading deck. Thankfully we bought the SafeMove in insurance, right? Wrong! I completed the move-in with my 10y old daughter and pregnant wife (lucky, the move-in scheduled after us was late too, so I could use the deck till 1pm). Then I took the truck back to the U-Haul store to only hear that the insurance they sold me does not cover the over-head damage. None-sense, it says it covers accidental damage which is exactly what happened. Then they say; except collusions with over-head objects. I had not energy left in me to argue with them; just I do not accept the responsibility; you do you! Came home; checked the website; found the bullsh*t exception statement only 8 clicks away from where I bough the insurance. Later they send my $1169 bill, none-sense! I will not pay anything and I am ready to defend myself at court if necessary!

I made a reservation 2 weeks before my out-of-state move. When I made the reservation, the lady over the phone told me someone would call me the next day to schedule my truck pick up. I waited, no call. I called back a few days later, and man over the phone told me that they generally call to schedule a pick-up 3-4 days before the move. I waited, no call. I called two or three days before my move, and the man over the phone told me that they generally call to schedule the pick up THE EVENING BEFORE THE DAY OF THE MOVE! Fine. I waited. No call. Well, on the DAY of my move, I called their main office and was told to go to this location to pick up my truck. I got there at 10:00 am, and they told me they had no truck available!!! I am moving across the country, and I don't have a truck to load my stuff into on the day of my move! If a U-Haul customer service representative wants to confirm this, they can just review the phone logs associated with my account. I look FORWARD to hearing from them.

Having sent many thousands of parcels over the years through them, I have stopped using them due to their asking for additional payments AFTER parcels have been delivered! A lot of the parcels I sent through them were for UK deliveries by Hermes, along with non-UK deliveries by other couriers. From 2017, I started receiving demands for extra payment for some Hermes UK deliveries, on the ground of under-declared measurements or weights of the parcels. Typically, no specifics would be provided as to how the under-declarations were arrived at, but just the amount to be paid, along with an administration charge. I sell only HP print cartridges on eBay, the measurements and weights of all my items can easily be verified by identifying the product sold per the eBay listing, and the specification shown on the HP web site. When this happened, I simply provided them with the said information, and they would waive the charges demanded claiming it was a goodwill gesture to a very loyal customer. I have hence NEVER paid even one of such! Yet, such demands have become more frequent in 2019. Having to provide the details to counter their demands were time consuming and very annoying. I have therefore decided to switch ALL the Hermes UK deliveries from October 2019 to eBay, and to Hermes directly as well. Eight months and hundreds of parcels later, there was NOT A SINGLE DEMAND of under-declared measurements/weight from either eBay or Hermes. In the meantime, I kept using parcel2go.com for my UK non-Hermes as well as foreign deliveries, until yet another demand for a Fedex delivery to Australia in March was received in April, weeks AFTER tracking showed the parcel was delivered. Up till then, I had never doubted parcel2go.com, and thought it was simply Hermes’ mistake for all the previous demands. Using the tracking number, I phoned Fedex, and was told by their customer service agent had there been an issue with the measurements/weight being underdeclared, the delivery would have been withheld until the underpayment was made! I then started looking up online to see if other people had similar experience, and found to my amazement the numerous complaints about this practice by parcel2go.com. Google 'Parcel2go Extra Payment' to see for yourself! When I challenged parcel2go.com to come up with the calculations of how the additional payments was arrived at, they wrote back to ask me to provide information to prove that my parcel was correctly declared, or have the recipient to send a photo showing the actual size of the parcel, despite it having been delivered weeks ago! As I was furious by their having abused my trust in them over the years, I insisted that this time, THEY would have to come up with the proofs to support their claim. Two months have since passed, and they have still not replied so I think I have given them enough time, even under this pandemic situation, to come clean on this. DO NOT add funds to their prepay account as the amount of any such claims would be frozen until settled.

STAY CLEAR!!! I paid to ship a birthing tub from Massachusetts to my home in Iowa. It was delivered on July6, 2017. The packaging was clearly torn and the side was damaged/cracked. A leaking tub is of no use! I had purchased the shipping insurance and was told it would cover anything that might happen during shipping. They refuse to repair the damage and will not even return my calls. The shipping agent, Calvin, did the best he could to resolve this issue. It is Freightquote and their insurance carrier, Roanoke, which refuse to honor the insurance policy, after I sent all the documentation requested. Please beware!!

They are also dishonest advising us to lie about value and contents of shipment, or I would not receive it. I would not lie, it passed customs anyway so they now say their trucker absconded with it ( this is what they say happen). I have this info recorded and have turn over to our attorney. The are cooked and dishonest. This is the very last email Carol lin sent to me. They have cut off all communications. "Dear Brian, Sorry for the late reply, because we are still checking the trucker for your air shipment, please see the below for the latest status & we will keep you post. Thank you! From Freightquote "Hey Carol, So I just got off the phone with Russ at Dallas dispatch. Unfortunately, he confirmed to me that the freight is missing. In addition, the driver never assigned a PRO number to the load, so there is no way of tracking it. He told me they are running dock checks at this time, and he is to give me a call with further updates. Our logistics team here at Freightquote has been informed of this issue as well, so we have plenty of eyes on this situation. Dont use them. Period. I'm a business owner and ship approx $200-250K per year in combined shipping (parcel, crates, ltl, etc) and have shipped with multiple shippers over the years and these guys are the worst. Stay away. My scales are certified every 30 days and dead accurate. We always add a few extra pounds to each BOL just to cover bases but we constantly got these double weight overcharges and they take the money out of your account first, then you have to fight for months to get it back even if you have all the proof. What broke our relationship was a shipment of 2 custom hand made tables worth $12,500 for my client and over the course of a month, lost it. It was only going 300 miles.Its a 2 day delivery tops. I even paid an additional $500 for another truck through them to go pick it up and drive it to my now extremely upset client and they kept that money as well. Took weeks to get a return phone call or email and then it was "well, just wait for our decision in 120 days". Some of the reps are friendly but its the infrastructure and lack of accountability that makes this company a huge liability for shipping. From one small business owner to another, dont. There are lots of other options.

We have shipped our furniture for nearly 20 years and we know our weights are accurate. We shipped 6 identical bar stools at the agreed upon rate of $384.00. A month later we received an ADDITIONAL charge of $550.00 as they said our weights were incorrect. They claimed that each stool weighs somewhere between 60 - 90 pounds!! Even though they are identical. We even sent them photos showing the stools on the scale showing it weighs 35 pounds as we originally reported. It is going on 3 months now and still no word on our credit. From reading several other reviews from different sites this seems to be a standard business practice for them. We have also reported this as fraud to our credit card company.

Paid for an airport pickup...no one showed ..did not find driver with name board..even after walking around for over an hour and a half. Ended up paying for another taxi. Which was cheaper to take me to the hotel. Contacted Rideways and all I got was nothing but excuses..no refund...they took the driver's side of the story.. since he claims he was there...but no one could find him ... wouldn't recommend them to anyone...they can keep the money..which they said they wouldn't refund. I have ordered a mattress and was promised the delivery on Wednesday.I took a day off and was waiting all day, nobody came or contacted me, when I have called them, they said the van was broken,(somebody could call me, not to keep me at home all day). Then I was promised a delivery on Thursday, the same story...then I was promised a delivery on Friday 11.15-13.15, It is 3 days already I am not going to work, it is very bad for my career and my family finances as well, but we are sleeping on a floor so I agreed. I moved in today. Place looks great, but I have a few notes for SpareFoot: 1. There was no truck available, even though it said so on my reservation (that's only for the larger spaces) 2. I had to pay an extra $15 for the key to the space, I recommend it be mentioned beforehand; 3. it was the 2nd floor, my reservation said the first (which I would have preferred) Just a matter of streamlining the communication between SpareFoot and the actual storage facility!

pakketbezorger was brutaal en onvriendelijk, jongeman wilde mijn pakketje niet geven toen hij mij niet thuis aantrof. Zag hem lopen en gaf het niet-thuis-kaartje aan hem en vroeg vriendelijk of er een pakketje voor mij was. jongeman keek mij koel aan en begon onvriendelijk te praten dat niemand de deur opendeed. Kwam net thuis, kon daar niks aan doen, moet ook werken. Maar dat deed hem niks, zo ging het heen en weer. Wilde weglopen toen hij opeens toch mijn pakketje gaf. Deze jongeman hielp ik in het verleden door pakketjes aan mijn buren te geven wanneer ze niet thuis waren en als stank voor dank krijg ik zo'n nare behandeling van hem. Totaal geen respect alleen maar negativiteit jegens klant. Wat zijn excuus ook was, ik ben niet zijn persoonlijke boksbal omdat zijn denken fout zit. klacht doorgegeven aan postnl maar die wuiven het weg als bezorger had een slechte dag zonder met hem te praten. verder geen feedback meer van postnl gekregen, waren dus niet serieus met de klachtenafhandeling.

I am a valued customer of PostNL courrier service, because most of the time they run an efficient and inexpensive worldwide delivery service. But when things go wrong, they go very wrong. I sent a parcel in Scotland on December 10th, vial their website, and paid the extra insurance fee. When abroad, the parcel is taken care of by their local carrier partner, in this case Yodell. They read the PostNL label and their were unable to locate the address, because PostNL does not print out the full address as given out by the customer, in this case name and surname, house name, road, postcode and town: their label did not mention the delivery house name which in this case was mandatory... Yodell sent back the parcel to PostNL to be shipped back to me. Unfortunately, six weeks later, my parcel is still hidden somewhere into the PostNL network with no tracking available since December 29th. After numerous phone calls and chats to PostNL customer service, posts on PostNL Facebook site and Messenger, 3 complaints enquiries filed, they still told me I have still 4 more weeks to wait for them to try and locate my parcel... which is not lost apparently!!! They completely ignore my repeated requests to file an insurance claim for the contents of my parcel; they do not update me with any feedback; they "lost" the 2 first complaints I lodged, even tough I received a reference number for them. I do not trust PostNL anymore and I believe it is a really disrespectful way to treat a customer.

Quoted for a hire including delivery and collection from our address. Spoke to them on the phone it was no issue and they took payment. A day before the hire they contact us demanding to nearly double the hire charge. They are not listening that they agreed a contract to supply a service, or that we have costs we can't recover now as a result. Crazy, possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

I booked a van for moving to be delivered to an address where I was dropping off a hire car days before the delivery date. At 5pm on the day before delivery (due at 12pm) they called me and said there was a problem with delivering to the address and could I do a walk-in somewhere nearby to get the van. I said yes, that would be fine. I was told that they would email me back with details. They sent nothing that day and their phone lines were closed. The following day, nothing and all calls were met with "We'll call you back". I drove an hour and a half to drop off my hire car and pick up the van, and 15 minutes before it was due, they called me back to say they couldn't do it now and there was no availability until 10am the following day. This left me stranded with no vehicle, an hour and a half from my home in a remote location and with no way to move out. Basically, they messed up, did not seem to care at all, offered no attempt to help, no discount, no recompense; not even sympathy. I find it hard to believe that a company can get away with treating its customers like this.

I bought labels 2/page. Resutlts Constant printer jams, & lots of waste. You will save no money on these. Buy higher quality at higher price and it will save you $$ in the long run. Item 8526839856201400. Save yourself, these are not for a home printer. Customer service quickly provided return label, but I wasted a high percentage so $$ was not really the answer. I need labels everyday. No offer to send something to me quickly to replace. I have to go local to get some emergency labels. This overall purchase makes me sad. I will not be a repeat customer.

My order was delayed, maybe because I placed my order on july 4, but after waiting 2 weeks I sent them an email or two and my invoice said item shipped but had not. On the 24th they shipped it out and I got in 4 days, good time from west coast to Tennessee. Next time I will not place an order during a holiday. The part was the exact match and flawless. The delay is the only reason for 4 stars otherwise would have been 5.

On July 14TH I ordered a fan from Direct Depot. It is now July 27TH 13 days since I placed my order. Now I received an E-Mail stating that my item is out of stock. The E-Mail read " Sorry but the item you ordered is out of stock and will not be shipped for 2-3 weeks. for this reason your order has been cancelled.Please check back at a later date" Very confusing, if my order has been cancelled why are they shipping it in 2-3 weeks? It would seem at the time I placed my order they would know if it was in stock or not. Very disappointed!

This company that claims to run a freight service is a company ran by a liar and arrogant man who treat people's goods with a lot of disrespect and misplace goods in their care. The managing director treats the consumer rights act of 2015 with so much disrespect making remarks like "I am not liable or responsible for any goods in my care if they get damaged or get missing". When things go wrong, the managing director of the company lies, and comes up with flimsy excuses. He also results to threatening you so that you the unfortunate client will not dare pursue the company for your misplaced goods. This company has removed it's phone support and only has online contact form in place which they will not reply to. Fourth week waiting now for any contact back about a lost, insured package and nothing from them. If your package gets delivered then you win, if anything else happens you are SOL. Avoid if you value you time, money and piece of mind. My item was marked delivered in the wrong part of the country and the recipient was at home waiting as it was ticked off as signed for. Thieves, scammers or incompetent, one or more of these apply to Fastway.

Driver "George" took a photo of my front door and ran away without neither dropping the card that DX says he did, nor delivering, whilst I was inside working at my PC with DIRECT SIGHT to my front door and waiting for either a knock or the doorbell to ring. Now I have to book time off AGAIN as well as be unable to fit the ordered parts as I required. Called DX, which, of course, will not tell the driver to pass by to correct HIS mistake/bad service. I will also fill a Google review with this feedback. I am fuming, DXDelivery service is appalling!

This my first experience with DX as couriers and I must say all the previous comments below giving one star shouldn’t be allowed in the case of DX because that is over rating them. My experience mirrors all those comments below shoddy communication, failed deliveries, wasted time etc I did note on trustpilot DX gained 5 star ratings which really puzzled me. I have redirected delivery for the second time to Tuesday I did think writing these reviews before delivery could cause DX to be complacent about my delivery but that’s happened anyway so nothing to lose I just wish companies checked the reviews for the couriers they use and then changed to a courier who can do a better job not difficult in this case.

I moved from Doncaster to the Mornington Peninsula yesterday. I had Eddie and Tony from Rocket on the job. The came and started as promised at 7.30am and got straight into it after a house review to get it clear in their minds. From the start they were friendly, positive, and most helpful and made the job relaxed and easy. Both guys were obviously gods at what they do and the move went exceptionally well and finished around 3.30pm. I would recommend Rocket Removals to anyone planning a move, right from the initial contact everything was documented and accurate. If you can get Eddie and Tony on your job please do so they were great and a massive advert for the company. Thanks you to all for your help and Eddie and Tony keep doing what you do with the enjoyment you do it with.

I was able to purchase a discounted cheap return and get Nectar points. I found it useful that when you ran your pointer over the various times and prices you could read relevant information. So many tickets, so many regions and so many chances to fall foul of rules you don't know, don't understand and then pay a fortune because you were misinformed.

Southwestern Railways used to offer a fairly reasonable service, but over the past year have deteriorated alarmingly and their customer service as well. On the 17/10/18 I bought a ticket to travel from Bracknell to travel to Clapham Junction, a journey of approximately 45 minutes. The service was delayed by just over an hour and then an announcement was made en route that they would not be stopping at Clapham Junction and that passengers should get off at the next station and wait for another train. I eventually arrived at my destination two and a half hours after my scheduled departure. The ultimate insult was that I submitted a delay repay claim - an time consuming and tedious process - and have just received a compensation payment of SEVENTY THREE PENCE!!

I booked and paid for a transfer 4 days before my event as I was aware of the train strike. I accepted the offer and paid immediately, received the voucher for my travel - 10681240. I was emailed 5.5 hours before my collection time to tell me that the driver had cancelled and that if I wanted an alternative transfer I would have to pay an additional £131. Mary the support manager was awful, I phoned customer care and received no call back and I messaged Facebook only to be told to respond to the emails. I ended up cancelling my transfer only to be told that I would have to wait up to 30 days for my refund. We have waited two years for the event tonight and that is why we booked early so all I can say is that GetTransfer.com has ruined our entire night and day and all their support manager Mary had to say was Have a Nice Day!

Betrug ist Gettransfer egal! Bei unserer Ankunft am Flughafen in Valencia war unser Fahrer nicht wie versprochen da. Wir mussten spontan ein teures Taxi nehmen und warten noch heute auf die Rückerstattung von GetTransfer. Als wir einen Fahrer für die Rückfahrt buchen wollten, stellten wir nach der Buchung fest, dass es sich um denselben Fahrer wie bei der Hinreise handelte (er hatte das Foto seines Autos geändert). Wir riefen bei Gettransfer an und baten darum, die Buchung zu stornieren, da es sich bei dem Fahrer offensichtlich um einen Betrüger handelte. GetTransfers Antwort: Sie könnten die Buchung stornieren, das Geld müssten wir aber trotzdem bezahlen, da die Buchung weniger als 24 Stunden vor Fahrtantritt stattgefunden hat. Am Ende haben Sie weder storniert, noch das Geld zurückerstattet und schreiben lediglich immer wieder Emails, dass der Sachverhalt noch geprüft wird und angeblich wieder an eine andere Abteilung abgegeben wurde. Wir mussten erneut mit einem Taxi zum Flughafen fahren. Wir warnen vor einer Buchung! Die Fahrer werden anscheinend nicht überprüft und Gettransfer ist alles egal - hauptsache das Geld ist auf ihrem Konto.

I was really sceptical after reading poor reviews BUT this was a seamless service from Palma Airport to Cala D'Or Majorca. Found desk immediately, was given tickets efficiently and clear directions to coach stop outside airport. Hardly any wait time before we left on brand new clean AC coach. 2hrs to Resort not much longer than public bus and door to door service. Pickup service to the minute, hotel posted notification to my room w days before departure, drivers were skilled courteous and professional. As you see a great service. No issues whatsoever

Please avoid because the quotation they send you is not what you really have to pay at the desk!!!. Hereunder my story. I booked a car through AirportRental: 10 days car rental with ACE company at Cancun airport with the maximum additionl insurance, the so called Protection Plus. Total 260USD+120USD=380USD. When I got to ACE desk @Cancun airport I was told that, by law, they could not give me the car without one of these two additional insurance: - Basic insurance: 220USD (189USD + VAT) - LDW2: 324USD (279USD + VAT). I decided for this, the equivalent of the Protection Plus I have already payed to Airport Rental. Moreover I had to pay additional 60USD for an Airport fee! Obviously none of these expenses were in the quotation I had received and booked from AirportRental!!! After approx 20 emails and 2 months with customer service AirportRental gave me back 120USD of protection plus and 60USD of airport fee. So at the end of the day I spent (approximately) 380+324+60-120-60=584USD instead of 380USD! I don't think this is correct.

I can say that baby style for buying new parts for my little girls buggy, where amazing, so pleasant & helpful on the phone as I needed 2 new wheels they promised delivery within few days & I was surprised to receive my new wheels 3 days later with a note inside stating that they did not have my chrome wheels in stock so they had just went ahead & sent me the mirror style but so my buggy would not look silly or out of place they had enclosed the 4 wheels for my oyster buggy & I was still only charged for my 2 wheels I had ordered also an appolagetic letter enclosed, I can honestly say was best customer service I have received in a long time, thank u baby style xx

Unfortunately, they deserve no stars. They used to be good but they one of the worst now. Once again, they failed to collect. The frequency of this is 2 out of 3 times now. They no longer respond to inquiries either and the most annoying feature is that they send you an 1 hour time window for collection or delivery which seems to serve the purpose of mocking us as they never ever honour. Sorry UK mail, but you have become a bit of a joke and this was my last booking with you.

Paid for next day delivery. It's now 5 days since the delivery date and not recieved my item. Not heard anything from uk mail group. JD sports have been contacting then asking where the items are but they keep lying to them saying that they bought then to the house but because it was after 10pm they couldnt deliver. Biggest liars ever wouldn't expect that sort of behaviour from a large company. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

very poor unprofessional. I booked Great Britain cars for pick up and collection from Stansted in April for a family funeral. we were on a day trip . Booked online taxi to bring us from airport to funeral and return journey that evening. On arrival, car was late and the company and they said the car had a breakdown and they would send a replacement which they did. I was informed by phone i would have paid this driver and the company would refund me by the end of the day. i emailed and rang the company in afternoon reminding them of pick up for departure and they weren't to be late as we had made the flight that evening. The taxi was over an hr later we barely made our flight and the company still has officially not said sorry for making a sad day more stressful. or provided a refund a month later. despite phone calls and emails and letters to the company. The company are totally unprofessional and unreliable

Yesterday I was so upset has I was a old paying customer when we came on board the old staff was brilliant but they advertise has workspace running business that you cant do anymore be shouted at and nagged 24 /7 by staff members being told we cant park our cars no more and cant use certain loading shutters , being told all car parks space are now for Hermes with out any notice , because my Hermes have paid them it's a total disaster of a company also now feeling that we have been paying good money and same with others to be treated in this is now forcing us to leave I would not recamend this company to no one any more has old customers have no value seeing managers swearing at customers and taking keys out of fork lift trucks forcing them to stop working so they can give the carpark ti my hermes , Bang out of order , not happy no respect. I have had enough be aware be u now come to storage world. Making changes has they and rules has they go along. Very upset with this company.

I had movinghelp.com send out 2 guys out last week. It seemed like a great deal, until they put through 4 charges for the service I received. They removed one of them, but it has still week and they have yet to cancel the other 2 charges. I have emailed them and their response is that "they cannot force the charges to be removed" and "they should drop off eventually". I am not in a position to wait for hundreds of dollars that I do NOT owe this company to "drop off eventually". Horrible customer service. I will NEVER use them again and would not recommend them to any of my friends. I would, however, use their website to find the local movers and contact them directly.

At short notice Movers Not Shakers gave us 2 men to remove a Luton van full of our goods from our flat. The 70+ boxes were heavy and required being taken up and down stairs. They then expertly packed the van. All done in 3.5 hours. Lovely guys who worked so hard with good humour. Would recommend.

It got there in perfect condition in an enclosed carrier. The scheduling, communication, timing and price were perfect. We would recommend Montway to anyone that would need to ship their car. My name is Josh and I had to move a 1997 Jeep Wrangler from FL-NC. First the quote was less expensive as others which is great and they included insurance for my vehicle. Once booked the first truck broke down but they booked another the next day. Truck was picked up at the previous owners house and delivered to me on time within the estimated pick-up/deliver window. I was kept in the loop throughout the process from their reps and even the truck driver, which was extremely nice and professional. Excellent service.

We recently used Greens Removals - this was the third time we have used them in last 2 years and in every move which included a very heavy piano there has never been even a scratch on any item. They provided an excellent service and nothing was too much trouble for the 3 removal chaps who worked non stop. I order a 4 foot stop. I thought the lettering would be at least 4in and more separated. It has to be a bike lane stop or some kind of track stencilfor a elementary school. I tried to get store credit for a return and they would not work with me. They offered a refund but with a restocking fee and will not take care shipping, so I would be out another 120. So now I have a stencil that is useless to me.

We used the service for our move to South London to North Wales. The system offered 6 firms and we saw them all. All were able to do the work which was key and the ability to do this quickly and easily with the website doing the work was really great. The only issue which is not the fault of the website was that each firm knew we were using the website but when they quoted the range was £3,000 to £6,000. We rated each company depending on their quote, terms and experience as well as their representative. Some firms do not understand that when they didn't get our business we should have gone back them so they could modify their quote to be competitive, which we think is stupid and not the point of the good website. Not suprisingly, we stuck to our system and had a really great service from our choice.

I received 5 recommendations for a surveyor the first i was about to book, but carried out some research on line and after some digging i discovered that a significant number of people had flagged this particular surveyor as being fraudulent / fake site on trustpilot I decided that there was too much risk in using compare my move to proceed and found a reputable surveyor elsewhere, the verified mark cannot be trusted.
