Price match fallacy Absolutely shocked that such a big company (Select Car Leasing) not honouring there price match policy which states “Had a better quote elsewhere?We have a dedicated pricing team working around the clock to make sure you always get the best deals, but if you've found a better price elsewhere and we can’t match it just let us know and we'll be happy to send you Amazon vouchers to the value of £50. I emailed the cheaper quote over and they couldn’t match/beat it..now they want to “wriggle” out of honouring the £50 amazon voucher they state on there website. According to the employee I spoke to today, I have to place an order with Select Car Leasing first and if I find a cheaper quote later elsewhere they would a send voucher out then.I highly doubt this is how there price match policy works as this does not reflect what’s stated on there website either. Will be letting trading standards aware for the false price match policy and other social media platforms.

I dealt with a sales manager called Russell, he was massively rood and aggressive to both me and my wife. We had a few questions about the quotes provided and he started abusing us down the phone. I'd rather pay double elsewhere then use this company again. If you had any sense you'd get rid of that man.

Dishonesty and discrimination resonates from this garage/mechanical side to the main office. Money stolen from my car during servicing, to complete deciept in the office. Was lied to enquiring about courtesy car, was told they do not do this anymore, only to find on the next service the lady infront of me was picking up her courtesy car. I do 50,000 miles per year/4 services per year, (lots of money) and not offered a courtesy car or lift home? Also a week before going to Bristol Street ford Stroud, I asked them do do the CV boot on my driver's side, when I returned it hadn't been done, they said the wrong one turned up? I had the car in at 07.30, I would of thought being such a big company they could of ordered another and fitted in the same day, but No? They said book it back in(another day of work) This place is a shambles. Avoid at all cost.

Absolutely disgusting. Bought a car on 29th april with valid mot and service done for sale. Couldn't be happier. Firstly alarm bells should have rung when I bought the car as the day before i was assured the door seals would be reattached for my collection the following day as they were hanging down. Low and behold they were not done for my collection and therefore the salesman assured me he would call me in 48 hours to get it booked in to be done. I ended up calling them after 2 weeks as I hadn't heard anything. I then booked it in myself to be done. Following from this, 5 weeks after I bought the car the steering sensor come up and the steering had a Major fault which needed urgent attention. Called the rac warranty who I was sold this with the purchase of the car (good job really) and they come out to see the car. When the rac come they knocked something under the bonnet and knocked the sensor off and the fault went. For reassurance the car was taken to an approved rac warranty garage and there for 3 days until the sensor did not return therefore nothing could be done to it as the fault was no longer present to fix. 3 weeks later and the sensor has come back on and is now with a garage miles from my house as it was towed to the nearest garage to where the car broke down which was no near home. The car has been there all day and work is needed but the warranty covers it doesn't it......no it does not! The warranty covers some costs but not all of the Costs to finish the job. Although when I took the policy out I was assured nothing would need to be paid on faults such as these as they are major non wear and tear faults. But no......didn't explain that these types of things would need to be paid by myself although I'm paying for an extended warranty on it!!!! Phoned trade centre and kicked off as you do. Firstly I was on hold over 20 mins each time to speak to customer care who each time put the phone down on me.....then when I called back I was promised a call back within half an hour at 10 this morning.....for my call back eventually at quarter to 3.....bless them When I finally got round to speaking to someone they assured me they would look into it to try and work out what they could do to help with the additional costs which were in excess of £100 and would call me back at 4. I did get a call at 4 but then when trying to sort it the phone was put down again and then I called back to try and resolve. Was offered half the value paid to help me out....this was not helping me out as I still had to pay for work to be done to finish the job they assured me I wouldn't pay a penny on. When then going through trying to see if there was anything they could do, was told would get a call within half an hour again... hour and 20 mins passed so rung them back and the woman has decided to go home without even a courtesy call or email......thanks love! My car is stuck in a garage 19 miles from my house with nothing being done to it because you've decided to go home! Absolutely disgusting! Never again will I set foot inside trade centre wales for a vehicle. No effort and no consideration. Absolute joke!

Buy at your own risk! I do not think their technicians check the cars properly in the so-called 99 point inspection, my car a range rover Evoque started with problems straight away which they fixed until made themselves unreachable, once you pay your money forget it you won't see them again.

Bought a 2015 Motorhome December 2017. £33800. Great motorhome. BUT. Had to return it twice, at my expense. Heating in accommodation problems. NOT GOOD. When I picked it up after second repair. I had also asked for a £660 solar panel to be fitted. I asked service department if I could be shown how it works. I was told to READ THE MANUAL. What if I had been unable to read and was too embarrassed to say. This is no way to treat a customer. The solar panel should have been explained at the time of uplift of the van not two days later. Which is totally unacceptable in my opinion. With regards to my outburst. I had just been denied assistance by a member of staff. My conversation with Mr Dunne, if overheard. Was because I am registered deaf in my right ear and I am inclined to talk loudly as a result. I apologise if this was overheard by others. I have requested that three members of staff be spoken to. To verify my claims. All of whom I have named.Two for misinformation and one for denying my request for assistance with a £660 unit I had just had fitted. As of yet this has been ignored. Why are they so unwilling to answer two simple questions? 1. Why did two members of staff misinform me of Perthshire Caranans complaints proceedure? 2. More importantly. Why did a member of staff, on the day of collection, refuse assistance with a £660 item that I had just purchased? Hence the title of this article. TOLD TO READ THE MANUAL. This is all that I want them to answer. Nothing more. Two honest answers to two honest questions and I will be satisfied. And I say again dear reader. YOU BE THE JUDGE. I have since, requested a final decision in writing. The National Caravan Council require this to escalated the complaint. I have as yet received nothing.

had a very bad experience at toyota colindale branch. The member of staff was rude and unprofessional. I was told My car needed a hybrid battery change for £1600. Took it to my loval mechanic who had a device that reads errors from the cars computer. All he did was reset the software of the car and charged me £20, with a nice smile on his face. leave it to the readers to decide on if you should ever trust the deal, especially Toyota.

Absalute shocking got a new citroen dispatch 65 plate nothing but problems.power stearing went 5 weeks in to owning the van electric windows stoped working now engine fault.its been i the garege 6 times i have only done 2000 miles.had the van 8months as a self employed plasterer. I am pending on my dad to get me two and from jobs. Thought I was getting a reliable work horse. Now van monster don't want to no so waiting on legal advice to get in contact.

Dreadful company- sold me a car which had so many faults, including a "dangerous" MOT fail, so actually sold illegally After sales service is non-existent- NEVER buy a car from here....proper con artists, despite appearing professional on the surface. They buy cars cheap at auction and sell them on without even checking them properly. They also add on so many extra charges eg admin charge of £100 is a joke.

I have bought 4 cars from pershore now always dealt with Dan, Andy and Meg. The service is second to none the cars are amazing and always offer support and advice. Don’t think I’d buy a car anywhere else I’d prefer the drive from South Wales to pershore any day of the week for the service I receive.

went in to purchase a new Kawasaki 125, the attitude and poor sales tactics resulted in trying to sell me a new bigger kawasaki then a second hand honda 125, then running into the rear office to check prices, it really was terrible sales pressure despite me being clear about the bike i wanted to buy new there and then. they have a terrible local reputation. beware!.

If felt like I was looking for my perfect car forever until I came across these guys on autotrader. I had been so fussy with what I wanted I couldn't seem to find it absolutely anywhere. These guys had exactly what i wanted down to every little detail. It was a good couple of hours away from me in Chesterfield which was a real downer but once I had spoke to Joe on the phone I already felt like I knew these guys. I slept on it and thought I was mad not to go and see them. Within a few days the car was mine and I was driving it home with a beautiful bunch of flowers they had given me. Joe Khan and Jake Alexander was the two guys I delt with. They made me feel so comfortable about my purchase and very much at home. I would definitely recommend these guys to everybody I know they was definitely worth the drive! They have got a lovely showroom with some real beauty's.

They switched caravans without telling us and took our money having deceived us. They broke our contract and their own terms and conditions.I believe they have acted dishonestly. Avoid at all costs. On 27/1/2017 my wife and I placed an order with Campbells Caravans at Lostock Hall, Preston for a brand new Lunar Clubman Sb caravan to be built during March 2017 to be ready early April. On 6th April, 2017 being the collection day I authorised payment of the outstanding balance (having paid a deposit on ordering) in the belief and on the understanding that it was payment for the purchase of a new caravan having been built in March 2017 as ordered and as per the agreed and signed contract. We didn't receive the caravan we had ordered - they switched caravans. Instead we were given one having been completed 12th October 2016 which had been stood in their compound since 11th November 2016 and throughout the winter. vin no. SGLSOOOLUH1036259. They didn't tell us of the switch but kept quiet about it. The dealership requested and took payment in the full knowledge that we were not receiving the caravan we had ordered and believed we were collecting. It was dirty and had several faults despite being assured it had received a thorough valet and PDI. The gas and electric certification only had 6 months left on them. We sussed what they were up to and complained. We were treated disgracefully. We received no apology or compensation and their attitude was reprehensible. As Campbells were in breach of contract we were able to get our money refunded in full. Their cavalier attitude was such that they even breached their own terms and conditions. This has been the worst retail experience in my 60+ years. Everything I have said is well documented, truthful and accurate. Campbells are fully aware and have my complaint fully on record. Unbelievably Campbells are a National Caravan Council (NCC) approved dealer - so clearly that's no guarantee of honest dealing. The director was dismissive and unhelpful. No gesture of goodwill or even an apology. It seems this is a bad company from the top downwards. My advice is to avoid Campbells Caravans.

Very bad company to deal with. We had ordered a brand new caravan and they switched it with an older one in poor condition. The deceived us when they took our money not telling us what they had done. When confronted with their dishonesty they weren't bothered in the slightest. It seems that the dishonesty starts at the top levels of this shady company. They were obliged to fully refund me as they had broken our contract. No apologies, no remorse and no compensation. Avoid this company or be sorry. The Director should be disqualified from holding office.

Took my passat estate into their garage to have a timing belt and water pump done, as everyone knows this is a big and expensive job hence the reason I wanted a main dealer to do the work for peace of mind. I took my car down to them and couldn't park anywhere, the car park was flooded with cars dumped all over the place so I had to just leave it blocking cars in. My car was left with them over night and returned back to me at my home address the day after. The delivery driver left it on the street so I came out and moved it onto my drive, I then noticed a huge scratch on the roof of the car !. I emailed the service advisor and advised her ( Anna Fletcher ) of this and also the fact the book wasnt stamped ( after her telling me she would double check before it left ). She asked me to come back down and I got the book stamped and she looked at the scratch. She then asked me to wait until her manager was finished chatting so I waited 20 mins then told her I couldnt wait any longer. She told me once she had spoken to him she would email me back but never did. I emailed her again ( so I had everything in black and white ) asking her what was going on. Anna rang me today and basically told me " the scratch could not have happend in there " How could it not have happened in there ? is there some sort of bubble the cars are kept in I don't know about ? I have now threatend them with legal action.

My car's front brakes pads and discs were changed in Llanelli garage. However when driven home the N/F/S brake was binding with smoke and a terrible smell coming from the disc. Was it test driven after the fitting, I ask myself? And the indicator message light, that I originally taken to the garage for, was still on. Consequently the brake caliper needing replacing at an extra £117! Funny how it happened after new disc etc fitted. I have had it on good authority that it could not have been fitted correctly. Won't be going there again.......

The above post from Pentagon is a bit late as i already tried that approach and it didnt work . The only thing that did work was small claims court papers arriving on Pentagons doorstep which they paid up very quickly, saying it was for commercial reasons, translated to they didn't have a leg to stand on. All this does is highlight to potential customers how other customers are treated

Shocking is the only word to describe this outfit, if you value your car please dont buy or use Pentagon Vauxhall.Cambelt was replaced last year, as soon as it was replaced there was a strange noise so took it back , noise was blamed on a few different thing but not the root cause, The cambelt was put on far too tight, by the MasterTech, They havent heard the last from me

never actually got my machine to you as you wanted £80 just to look at it. I had a throttle issue on the Sprint GT, and i was going to simply hand the bike over and say fix it but £80 without even looking at it is crazy money. thanks, but i'll use another Triumph dealer to keep my machine with it's full Triumph service history

I don't know about them bad experience, I personally decided to trust them, I left the country on sunday, left the car at the carpark in front of my former appartment. They quoted the car, most of my colleagues tried to warn me it was overrated, I called them, ask them if they were honest. I'm glad I made the right call.

Total farce. Was told they would be out today between 12 and 2pm. Had a text to confirm this within minutes of the conversation. Missed a call today so phoned back as soon as I realised to be told that because I hadn't answered they had given my slot to someone else and told they never give a time until the day of collection. All lies and bad attitude. Shouting at me down the phone and being verbally abusive.

I have used Ship Your Car Now on more than one occasion and can say that they are the best around! They treat each customer with care...and are even more attentive to the cars to ensure that they are transferred safely without damage. Their pricing is fair, they are flexible with timing and stay on top of the entire process so that the customer doesn't have to worry. I highly recommend them for both inter-state and international car transfers!

My car was picked up about 10 days after I was initially told it would be picked up. And finally to get it picked up I had to pay an extra $100 over what I was quoted!! AND it took 7 days for the car to arrive at it's destination!!!! (I had been told it would take 3-4 days) Talk about bait and switch!
