The customer representative I chatted with was super kind and helpful despite all the confusion I caused My shipment came on time and I got everything I ordered. Everything was well protected with lots of bubble wrap, which I greatly appreciate (since USPS has sent me a package run over by their truck in the past) I also think EyeCandy's website is the best out of all circle lens sites because it's cleanest and easiest to find my prescription.

Ive been ordering from majorlens for over 2 years now and they have never given me an issue. I saw the sub par reviews and figured I should help even out some of the negative reviews. Ive put in probably 10 different orders over the last few years and all have arrived within 2-4 weeks max (its from overseas) and are completely legit and trouble free. Maybe Im lucky but I can't see why others have had issues as my experience has been great. I wear Acuve Oasys lenses. As I researched where to buy them, MajorLens is the #1 cheapest place to buy them. Awesome! But, of course I wondered why they were so cheap. There is very little to no information on-line as to if these lenses (which have been shipped from either Singapore or Germany the 3 times I have ordered) are legit. But, I think I have cracked the code as to why they are cheap. As I have inspected my boxes and packaging of my Acuve Oasys lenses they seem very legit. I have compared them to a box I ordered straight from my optometrist. They are the same. But...the ones from MajorLens were a year expired. So there's the answer. What do expired lenses do to you? Not sure. Just be aware and buy at your own risk. Apparently at least 1 study shows that expired contacts are just as safe as non-expired contacts, but the Acuve company has stated that no, they are not safe. Jake Steiner has unselfishly shared his journey from high myopia back to natural 20/20 vision and what he learned along the way to help others...no charge. His methods are backed by science and countless people have reduced or eliminated their prescriptions. I was also highly myopic and have progressed to low myopia in less than 6 months. Improvements continue. Details on the gist of the method below: The gist is to maximize the time that the eyes spend bringing images into focus with the slightest under-correction (Active Focus) on just two focal planes (i.e., arm’s length for a “differential” prescription, and a “normalized” prescription for distance). Focusing time between those two planes is minimized because (a.) with a differential prescription there is too much blur (risking form deprivation) and (b.) with a distance or “normalized” prescription there is hyperopic defocus, which works against you (see Incremental Retina Defocus Theory). Outdoor, daylight, active-focusing practice on distant objects is highly recommended. Quarter-diopter prescription reductions are made when the Snellen 20/20 line is clearly read at 20 feet.

The paid section contains organized lessons; a forum to ask Jake Steiner -- the discoverer, originator, developer and maintainer of the techniques presented at EndMyopia.org -- questions concerning the lessons and one's attempts to understand the techniques and adapt and apply them for the improvement of one's own vision;, and some tools (such as a tool to log one's measurements). I recently purchased a pair of Oakley prescription Sunglasses for sport use and a pair of Ray Ban prescription sunglasses for everyday use from extreme-eyewear.co.uk. I was slightly confused buy the amount of lens selections that were available to me. However after a quick phone call to the company, they soon put my mind at rest about my lens selections. The Oakley G30 Polarized and green polarized options where what i proceeded with once i understood what i needed. I received my PD ruler in the post 2 days later and only another 10 days after that my sunglasses arrived. Due to the recent up and down weather condition that we are experiencing i am pleased to say that the sports lens that was introduced to me is amazing, its strange to think that without contact with this company i would have probably never found out about this set up. The Ray Bans are as brilliant especially for driving. I am 100% satisfied with everything i have received for this company. When i called to give my thanks i made an enquiry about goggles for skiing and will be making a follow up purchase in the coming winter. As a middle aged man it has recently come to that time where i now need glasses for certain situations, i am an enthusiastic cyclist and did not want to stop due to my now impaired vision. I found extreme-eyewear.co.uk when i searched for Rudy Project sunglasses and there website brought to my attention that i can indeed have them in prescription. There were 2 options, 1 for optical insert and 1 for direct glaze. I contacted the company to find out the difference and they helped me relative to my individual needs. I was explained that the inserts are great for changing lens and direct glaze is fantastic if you only want the one lens. Now normally in this situation company's try to get you to purchase the more expensive option ( the direct glaze) but the assistant assured me that the insert would be a better option for me as i am a bit of an enthusiast. As i would be able to buy different variations of lenses if i ever wished to change them for conditions. I am very pleased to say that the information that was provided to me was spot on and the freedom i have to change lenses has made cycling in all conditions a pure pleasure. This customer WILL be returning at a later date!!!

Ordered glasses over 4 weeks ago and I get a generic email every week saying they will notify me in 9-14 days when the order is shipped. Well after 35 days, only emails arrive from EyeRim and no shipped order. Would not recommend this company. I would have gladly spent the extra 15% more to get my glasses sooner. Now I have waited over a month and no glasses in sight. About to cancel and ask for a refund, but very worried how that will go.

I’ve only had the glasses for 2 months, they looked good, but the quality was not great at all, when cleaning them they snapped in 2. I’ve had glasses for many years and know how to clean glasses so was shocked when this happened. I’ve paid £10 for some frames before and they have lasted way longer than these. (I actually still have them). I’m extremely disappointed.

I must say I was always very positively surprised by the kindness and availability of all shop assistant and customer service in general, so I'd give them a 10/10 for the pure customer service they provide online and in store! However, I cannot give Ace&Tate a good review in the slightest because you have messed up with my eyes health one too many times. I think it's really superficial and dishonest of the company to provide such bad quality products and non-existent specialists! On top of that, when someone comes into your shop complaining about having a pair of glasses that don't allow you to see, at least I'd expect extra care when you re-make the glasses for the fourth time! My lenses were fitted wrong twice and were in the wrong prescription another two times! Not once I was told "sorry that was the guy that fits the glasses' fault", instead I was always told that I just needed my eyes to adjust. Well, after 4 months my eyes haven't adjusted and I believe Ace&Tate should simply train their staff better and invest in some real opticians serving customers and better quality lenses! Won't go for a cheap pair of glasses&lenses ever again! You get what you pay for!

I really wanted a change of style, having worn the same dark framed glasses for years and I had some over sized, clear frames pushed me on that I now don't wear because they don't sort my face. Also the saleswoman was attempting to push the most expensive lenses on me - they definitely work on commission. I would like to have been treated like a person rather than just another sale.

I've been a customer for a couple of years now, The service is always impeccable and above what one could expect. Oli is proactive in how he looks after customers.. Not only friendly and polite, Oli has always indulged me and my wife as we discuss frames even when we were doing so close to closing time. Oli has also been patient when we've not been able to pick up items, and has even called to check if we were running late and needed a little more time. He's never pushed for a sale, in fact, he's even pointed out when I didn't necessarily need to make a purchase. He's been very good with dealing with skin reaction issues, and has helped me find frames that were suitable for me to wear. I feel a valued customer when I deal with Oli, and I feel that my eye care is in very good hands.

To be honest 1 star is 1 star too many. Great service from the optometrist and was then handed over to a sales assistant. Very friendly service but delivered in a very condescending, over-bearing, "Shoreditch" manner, (to be fair it is in Shoreditch, so to be expected) after which I was pretty much cajoled into buying a pair of £150 glasses, that I wasn't really sure about, something that I told the sales assistant. I was then told that my glasses should be ready for collection in about a week or so!!!! On getting home I did a little research on Kite's website and saw that had I bought online I would have had my glasses sent to my home address for free, I emailed Kite and asked if they could post the glasses to me, they were very happy to do so. On receiving my glasses, I really didn't like them. Looking on their website I was in luck to see that I could return my glasses within 30 days if I wasn't 100% satisfied, something that I was not told previously. The returns policy says - "Return delivery is free when you use our prepaid return label. Please contact Customer Care (see Contact page for details)." No label was provided in my delivery, I really got the feeling that they did not want me to utilise the return policy. I emailed Kite and asked for a prepaid return label, they did better and sent a courier to collect the glasses the same day, the couriers tracking app told me that Kite received the glasses. I sat back very happy with the returns procedure and waited the 3 days promised to receive the refund. Suffice to say that I did not receive my refund after 3 days however I understand that things do take time so I sent an email to ask when I would receive my refund, apart from the automated "thank you for contacting us" email, my email went unanswered, so 4 days later I sent the same email, this also went unanswered. I waited 2 days for a response and gone none. I felt I was being treated very rudely and unfairly so I sent a further email in which I regrettably threatened legal action if I did not receive my refund immediately, funnily enough I received a phone call from Kite where a very nice representative proceeded to concoct a cock and bull story about somebody being away and not answering emails "blah, blah, blah". I received my refund a couple of days later. In short:- - Pushy, verging on rude sales techniques - Did not inform me of 100% satisfaction guarantee - Did not initially supply any means of return - Tried to withhold my refund, I can only assume as some kind of punishment for returning the glasses that I had made clear to the sales assistant that I wasn't sure about. Steer clear, all frills but no knickers!!!!!!

I’d heard about Kite Eyewear through a friend and it sounded great but as I live around 1.5 hours away I hadn’t got round to travelling up to London to visit the store. I finally decided to make the trip up there and from the moment I walked in I knew I would be a returning customer! I love everything about this store, the frame designs, the staff and the concept is such a cool way to browse and choose your eyewear. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive especially Lincoln he was awesome! He really helped me to choose a frame that actually suited me, I was then able to walk away with my new Patsy frames which I’m in love with so thank you! I cannot wait to return to get my next ones, I definitely recommend a visit to Kite as i’ve always found it hard to find glasses that are beautiful design and beautiful quality... the 3.5 hour round trip was well worth it! I've just completed my third order with LensFactory - this time, a new of sunglasses with polycarbonate progressive lenses placed in my Maui Jim frames. Very easy and smooth throughout the process. I got both of my eye fixed on the 10th of January and have been over the moon with the results. I had -5.5 on both eyes and now I can see the world and enjoy it without the problems glasses bring. All the staff was friendly and helpful. They talk and walk you through the whole process making you comfortable and answer any questions that you have. The operation was flawless and painless. Anyone who is hesitant to get it done I highly recommend to overcome what is stopping from doing it. The operation was completely painless. For two days after the operation my eyes were a bit stinging nothing major and mostly before sleep but you are provided with sedatives and painkillers so it's all good. The pain is well bearable and I to be honest I wouldn't even call it pain. Also the a small tip I found is that walking around town is for a couple of hours is great. The return on investment is well worth it. Probably the most important thing I did in my life so far being 22 and having wore glasses for 10 years.

This was my first time ordering from Maxx. My son loves these sunglasses so I bought him some for Xmas. Ordered on Dec 14 and received them on the 27th. I know the holidays could make the delivery long but I never received a tracking number just a order confirmation. Tried to email but got no response. Finally I called and was able to get a tracking on when it should be delivered the gentleman was very friendly but I believe it should not have come down to calling to find out where my order was.

It is less than three weeks since having my eye surgery but right from the initial consultation Dr Bolger and his skilled team members treated me with the utmost respect. His/their expertise has resulted in my sight being rectified to an outstanding level; a level of vision that I haven’t experienced for a very long time. The removal of advanced cataracts and lens implants in both eyes has quite literally changed my lifestyle, particularly as I was in danger of not meeting the required eyesight standard for driving. I've noticed such a difference at night when I'm trying to fall asleep after scrolling on my phone since wearing my ANTI frames glasses, I scroll for way less time because the blue light isn't keeping me awake and I fall asleep faster. Also I just like how they look even if I'm not using them for screen time.

I found this place online as I had 3 chalazions to remove and I was quite stressed out by conducting surgery. But i must say that the kindness of the whole team really helped me. Dr Jane Olver was excellent, nice and professional - so kind and reassuring. Lizi at the reception was also so nice to me and answered to my questions on the phone anytime i needed. The nurses team were also very nice and helpful. It is really premium care while some people complain it is expensive but look at the market price, it is really not that bad for the premium service they give to you. I'm afraid it's simply the reality of the market.

I have been seeing Ms Jane Olver for over 15 years and I can only say she is the only consultant I have seen who has genuine concern for you as a person. Jane is a true professional you will be hard pushed to find someone like her that’s why I still after all these years see her for my condition. Clinica London is a lovely place to go I highly recommend you go here before trying anywhere else.

My 3 star rating has been turned into a 4! I am very happy with how I’ve been helped by this company the only reason my review is not a 5 is because I think they really need to take real photos of models in their natural looking contacts so people can see what they really look like instead of the computer generated placements (I’m assuming) they have on the models right now. All the issues I had were due to the fact that the models don’t show how they really look in real life. They do have customer examples at the bottom of the page but it’s not always the exact pair you are looking at either. I think it would benefit their company and the customer to fix this. However they helped me so much and I’m hoping my replacement pair of contacts is going to look good on my eyes. I very much appreciate all the help and I’m definitely going to continue to be a loyal customer. Their contacts are so comfortable and I love the Halloween/cosplay lenses they always look exactly as pictured on the site!

I don't know if I have the right to review Contactscow.com yet since I haven't actually received my order yet and it has in truth, only been about two weeks since I've placed my order, but one thing I'd definitely like to warn others about is their possibility of misrepresenting themselves on their website. Their website, which first of all, seems quite professional states in clear, bold print saying that they would reply back to emails within 4 hours (see another user's review below); however, they lie. I've emailed them twice within two weeks and so far, there is no reply. It's one thing to take time for a product to arrive with respect to where one lives etc., but it's another thing to ignore its customers especially when the company states they would reply within a certain time frame. This is my first time doing business with Contactscow and frankly, I'm already distrusting Contactscow. It's a shame because I was planning on buying from them from now on. Also, on a side note, it seems like the company was well up and running until last year of 2013. Are you guys still there, Contactscow? :(

I have worn glasses for over sixty years and recently I developed cataracts as well, leading to an even higher prescription for my short sight and astigmatism. It was getting really difficult to cope in situations where I was without my glasses such as swimming. I do a lot of photography and it was difficult to focus accurately. Of course, I was eligible for NHS treatment, but the options seemed limited, so I decided to see what Custom Vision Clinic could offer. From the start I was favourably impressed by the welcome and especially by James Ball’s approach. Even though the clinic was running late and I was the last to be seen, he took time to explain not only the operation but also the differences in the various possible lenses. After a thorough examination of my eyes he discussed my lifestyle, hobbies, etc., in order to choose the lenses which would best suit them. He went for extended focus lenses which would be better for my lifestyle than multifocal ones. The operations themselves, at the Nuffield, were completely trouble-free: I’ve often had more discomfort at the dentist’s. My distant and intermediate vision is now perfect, better than it was when I was wearing glasses. and I can even manage to read without glasses if necessary. Everything has turned out as James Ball forecast and I am extremely pleased with the results. I thoroughly recommend Custom Vision Clinic.

9/11 I am disappointed in what I had expected to be a professional experience with a company who has received good reviews. The frames borrowing process and the ordering process we fairly simple. It made me feel like my glasses would be custom made just right for me and I would receive a satisfying product. However, I placed my order on 8/23, the payment was immediately collected, and I have received nothing. On 9/5 I inquired about my order and was assured it would be coming out the following Monday. It is Wednesday and there has been no further communication and no glasses. 9/11 . My new glasses arrived overnight as promised and they were ready to wear. I did not even have to go have them adjusted!

I recently had lens replacement surgery carried out by Doctor Tint and his team. The result is absolutely amazing. I now have near perfect vision without the need for spectacles and/or contact lenses which I have depended on for some sixty years. From the outset at the Edinburgh Clinic - initial nerves and apprehension aside - I felt comfortable and reassured that I was in the best possible hands. I would say in conclusion to anyone considering this procedure - Doctor Tint is the best.

I was refered to Dr Tint for a pyteregyium Surgery in july 2018. I must admit my first interaction with him even before the procedure gave me alot of confidences in him as a professionals. He knew what he was talking about and he made it sound easy and it took my fear for the surgery away. On the day of surgery both Dr. Tint and his team were not only professional about their job but had an amazing human relation such that i didnt feel i was actually undergoing a procedure. The Surgry was very successful and neatly done. Post surgery care was super even though i had to travel back home to Ghana to heal, Dr Tint constantly checked on me and was in contact with my GP in Ghana to ensure proper care was given duing the healing process. It has been a year now after the surgery and there hasnt been any complication whatsoever. Dr.Tint is not just professionally excellent but he has a big heart that cares for his patients.

Not capable to contact the client when the order is pending for 4 days in their system and the client (I) chose the UPS express option to be delivered overnight. Had to cancel my order, as no suitable option provided by the hotline, out of the box solution, thus I went to buy the sunglasses in emergency at another store to have the birthday present with me the D-Day not the day after. i thought I had been wise to order 4 days ahead with extra safety with the UPS express
