I have had my computer for 6 months, and the LCD screen has gone bad. That is the beginning of my nightmare. It took me two hours and multiple calls to get to a live person. The Virtual Assistant that HP makes you chat with could not understand that I couldn't trouble shoot anything on my computer because I couldn't see anything on my screen. I finally got to a live person, and he couldn't understand that either and insisted on trouble shooting despite the fact that I told him someone had already been out and diagnosed my problem. Finally, I got to a person to process my need to return my laptop to them to be fixed. Multiple transfers, and different people to finally get anything done. Customer service is severely lacking at HP.

I have had my Deskjet 2450 series since 2014 and my recent trouble with my printer has become the last straw. I have a macbook pro so i thought that wireless connection would be easy to set up but it turned out to be such a hassle and trouble that I have had for 6 years. The first 2 years was alright, everything was smooth until I changed my router then everything started to go haywire. Usually, the printer automatically to my wifi-router but since then I had to change it to its own wifi-network. This has been an ongoing of 5 years. Today, 29 May 2020, I wanted to print a document and suddenly the printer network asked me for my WPA2 password. I entered my password and it rejected multiple times. Now, i can't even connect by printer to my MacBook. I am absolutely frustrated with this printer. Definitely would not recommend to anyone interested in buying a similar product. Thoroughly check with your salesman too, I believe mine tricked me into buying it. Absurd!

After reading online recommendations, I ordered a BP-511 replacement battery for my Canon 20D. It arrived in three days! It's much cheaper than Canon batteries, and it seems to fit and work just like the original, though I don't know how many shots it will last yet.

I ordered a couple of camera batteries as well as some AA 2700mah batteries. Shortly after I placed the order I received an email informing me that the "2400mah AA batteries" were on backorder, and that I could cancel that part of the order so that the rest of my order could ship. BTW, it is not a mistype, I did order 2700mah batteries, and Sterlingtek did refer to them in the email as 2400mah batteries. I emailed them back asking them to cancel that part of the order. The next day I received a confirmation that the AA battery part of the order was indeed canceled and that the rest of the order would ship. I received the rest of the order on the 2/4. I noticed that I had not been reimbersed for the AA batteries and sent them an email to that regard. I received a response telling me that the person responsible for the refunds would take care of it in the next few days. Three weeks later, no refund, so I emailed them once again. The response took several days and I was told that my order had shipped and to contact the shipping company. Talk about total incompetance, the person, Cindy, didn't even bother to notice that only part of the order had shipped!

I ordered a single copier cover from CompuCover.com on February 11, 2015. After several weeks of not hearing anything from them and having not received my product, I called the number on their website. A gentlemen answered the phone. I briefly explained that I had placed an order online several weeks ago and had not received my order or heard anything from them. Interrupting, he hurriedly told me that they were experiencing 21-28 day turn around times and that he would have someone follow up with me soon. And then he hung up on me. Reviewing their website, the lead times listed on their are 7-14 days, significantly less than the 4 weeks he stated. I sent an e-mail to their general info address and, after 2 business days, got a reply from Susan. She restated what the man on the phone had said and told me she would respond with a tracking number once the order was complete. I had to initiate every communication that took place. I NEVER received anything from CompuCover that I didn't ask for directly, and most responses were slow and as brief as possible. Once I finally got my tracking number, 5 weeks after the original order was placed, I checked it out on the USPS website. For three days, the status of the shipment was "Label Created." The package was not actually shipped until 3 days after I received the tracking info. I am still waiting to receive the item, but at this point, my expectations are low, to say the least. This is bay far the worst online ordering experience I've ever had. Waiting 6 weeks for a plastic copier cover is absolutely ridiculous. I could've tracked down and hired my own seamstress to sew together a copier cover in less time than this has taken, and it would've cost about the same. I will NEVER do business with this company again. How they manage to stay in operation is anyone's guess. But it certainly will not be with my help.

I ordered a dust cover for my Monroe 6120X, probably one of the most common desk calculators in use. Monroe does not provide one. I send measurements as requested, but the cover sent was much to big around the sides and back. I had to cut it down to use it at all. If this is a custom made cover, they should have used a wood block model the right size for all of the most common machines. If it is a "one size fits all" it is overpriced. Otherwise the material and stitching was high quality. MAT in Sun City Center FL

This comment is to JIG i have ordered from them many many many times with no problems...the double sticker you refer to comes that way from the manufacture so go ahead and try to press charges against components direct they didnt do it maybe you should contact samsung i have bought several from other locations local to me with the same thing so maybe before you black ball a reseller you should learn more about your product...so sick and tired of stupid end users....deal with people like you where i work day in and day out

I ordered a Pioneer DVR-104 with 10 DVD-R's and 10 DVD-RW's. I did not receive the DVD-R's. I emailed them to let them know. Within 5 minutes I received an email from Mike@sales that they would be expedited immediately. I guarantee that I will be doing business with this company again. They are really "on the ball" and have reasonably priced merchandise with equally priced shipping and outstanding customer support. Update: After posting this, I received another email from Mike that the disks had already shipped. Nothing but roses for this bunch - unlike so many other resellers. I just cannot believe the prompt responses I have gotten and the pleasant way they have treated me. Definitely gonna stick with this company!

I purchased a computer from Paramount 2000, Inc at the Florida Fairgrounds, in West Palm Beach, during a computer show in January 2003. My credit card was billed twice, for the same month and different billing periods, for the same computer. The credit card company is handling the correction. I find it very disturbing for a supposedly legitimate company to try to defraud a customer. I will be writing to the BBB and to the fairgrounds show organizers about this matter.

Please be advised that Paramount Computers is now operating under the name Cyberspace Cafe/CSC Computers, 9873 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL with the same cast of questionable characters (Kymi Samuels, Dory Espino, and Robert), and up to the same unscrupulous tricks which have earned them their well deserved reputation. The $2000 computer I purchased from these brigands in Feb. 2005 has yet to run properly and the machine has spent the last 4 months in their shop, having been returned for at least 6 seperate hardware failures/defects. The staff is arrogant, hostile, and dishonest. AVOID doing business with these folks as you would avoid STDs!

I had a truly awful, long (4 months!) experience trying to order a single battery from the Battery Bank. I had to call around 10 times, and in the end, never got my battery, nor all my money back. They kept giving me a run-around. First they tell me that it will take 10-14 days to get my battery. Four weeks later, I write asking where it is. They say they shipped it, but they send me the WRONG battery. Then it took me several emails and calls to get them to send me a return shipping label. Then, after weeks, I can ship it back and wait for a replacement, which never comes. When I never got the part, I called again only to find out again that it was "back ordered" and they didn't know for how long! Finally, after 3 months of waiting for my part, I asked to cancel my order. That was another ordeal. It took me 5 phone calls and a month later before I got SOME of my money back. In the meantime, I heard every excuse "Oh I thought they processes that." "Oh I'll do it myself" "oh so-and-so has gone home. I'll get back to you tomorrow" etc. Eventually, four months from the start, I get some money reimbursed, but THEY CHARGED ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE OF SHIPPING ME THE WRONG PART! Overall, this was by far the worst customer experience I have had. After 4 months and hours of my time wasted, I end up with no battery and am charged for their mistakes. Never again!

I bought this gaming desktop, and every hour while gaming it freezes up for 5 seconds and lags. You can imagine how bad this would be in a raid. I had to pay for shipment back to the repair place in California. After more than 2 months of ABS working on this. They sent it back and it still has this issue! On top of that, sometimes the sound drops out mid game and I have to restart the game client completely. What a waste of money this piece of sh*t is. I hate ABS and their repair shop for how bad of a quality they have for this desktop. ABS Gem - Intel i7-8700 - GeForce RTX 2080 - 16GB DDR4 - 240GB SSD - 1TB HDD - Gaming Desktop PC

I brought a Intel Dual Core, Dual Video Card , 2 gb gaming machine from ABS. I am totally happy with the PC and have enjoyed many hours of smooth gaming. The shipping was great and professionally packed. My brother brought a gaming PC from another company and came to find out months later that they closed down and claimed bankcruptcy. I am totally happy with ABS- I have yet to call there support desk since I have not had any problems. Great build- nice package, FAST shipping. I wanted it to arrive before a holiday weekend and expected it on a friday- the pc arrived on a wednesday when I chose the expediated service. Highly recommended.

I bought my Presario 5451 from Sears in 1999 for about $ 1300 and have been really dissatisified with it. It reboots from time to time - when I work on my project (and lost the data !). Connecting to internet is another horrific moment, not knowing whether it'd get connected to the internet or get shut off. And the machine is extremely slow ! I am not a computer wiz - so these things really drives me nuts. After we bought a used really old but much more reliable Gateway, life was much calming down - and I am now even happier with my new Dell. I just do not know what to do with my Compaq - even if I gave it to elderly people for free so that they can get connected to the internet (as suggested by a friend of mine), I am afraid that they would get heart attack......

I bought the Presario x1010us, Centrino 1.3 I first saw at compusa, but decided to order it online, wrong move. The notebook arrived with a series of issues beginning with a bad assembled touchpad, half of it was raised with 3 major bumps that looks like screwheads under it. The integrated wireless is useless it drops connection every 4 or 5 minutes even at a foot from the wireless router. I got it with a defective keyboard, some keys did not respond. The top doesn't snap as it should, one corner stays open about 1/8th of an inch. I would restart the notebook and I will get "System Disc not found error". I called Hp/Compaq right away and they sent for FedEx for an express repair/replacement order. The tech promised me to send my notebook back in 2 days. A week passed by and it wasn't delivered back. I called customer service and no one knew where it was, not even if it in fact was received. I had to send them a fax and Alicia from customer service called to say that they were waiting for an approval to replace the keyboard, she approved it and sent the notebook back to me next day. I expected a perfectly working machine, however I received half programmed, none of the drivers were installed, windows xp home had the "30 days remaining activation", it looks like they re-formatted the hard drive, but didn't activate windows and did not install the drivers. I had to call microsoft and bought a new license and I reconfigured the drivers. The touch pad wasn't replace or repaired, it gets lock or won't move even if the cursor moves it goes back to the same place, it still has the same bumps. The Hard drive failed and I had to buy a new and replace it, I had to call microsoft again and I had to go through a lot of questioning to convince microsoft of what happened. As if it is not enough the top still doesn't close, it looks like they used a hammer or tried to bend it with a wrench since it has a series of hits and scratches on its corners. I called HP/Compaq and let them know, they only said: "Oh, I am sorry, that happens often" "Can we send for your notebook again?" I said no, I asked him if I could buy the touchpad so I could install it myself. He said no, we have to have the notebook to diagnose to see if it needs to be repaired. I told him that the only way I could send it was to be sure they would replace the touchpad and I was willing to pay. He said no, he kept saying the same "it needs to be diagnosed and if it was defective it was going to be repaired or replaced". Why would I waste my time sending it back and expect it to be fixed when they would not do a thing? I learned my lesson: "Never buy an HP/Compaq product again."

I've been purchasing from Tommy Tang at YMI for a couple of years now, and this company has raised my expectations about what a good vendor really is. I can't recommend these guys enough (although I do recommend them all the time). I have even requested Tommy's buisiness cards to hand out at conferences, etc. The prices on the website may not be the lowest on pricewatch, but just give them a call and negotiate and they will do their best (and can usually match anybody's prices, and aren't shy to tell you if they can't). They offer great educational discounts as well. They are faster than I could previously imagine possible. In the past, they've had items delivered before we could even push a PO through our system here (most other vendors wait for either full payment, or a written copy of the PO in the mail, which takes a long time). For small orders, most of the time parts arrive the next morning after I call. Larger orders (like our 6TB servers) may take a couple of days longer to assemble/test. Service has been outstanding. There have been hardware issues in the past (which aren't YMI's fault), but all have been resolved within just a few days (and most of that time was for overnight shipping). On one occasion they even overnighted me 6GB of DDR333 ram to help me work out an issue with some DDR400 ram that turned out to be OS related. On several occasions, they've offered to handle manufacturer RMA paperwork so we could get replacements faster than the manufacturer's RMA process allowed. I've never seen any vendor go this far for customer satisfaction. These guys are the real deal.

I bought a battery backup unit add-on chip to place onto my 3Ware 9550SXU-4LP. The first shipment had the battery but not the add-on chip. I e-mailed Terry and his response was extremely quick and professional and I received the missing part in 2-3 days. Their A++ support outweighs the few extra days delay. Would definitely do business with again!

Forced to Pay Restocking Fee on Defective Item Before you make a purchase from PC-Pitstop, you should read here what happens if you try to work with this vendor to resolve a problem, instead of just forcing them to give you a refund: I purchased a 4 Bay Hotswap SATA RAID Enclosure from PC-Pitstop, and initially, the product seemed perfectly functional. However, after I had owned it for a few weeks, I discovered a serious problem: one of my drives was permanently stuck in the "hotswap" drive bay. I contacted PC-Pitstop and made my fatal error: instead of demanding a refund for the defective product, I asked "how can we work together to solve this problem?" I sent a series of emails back and forth with their technical staff for a few weeks, and in hindsight, I should have realized that they were stalling for time. For, you see, even though the original email was sent within their 30 Day Return policy, I did not specifically ask for a refund at that time. Eventually, the technical staff recommended that I PURCHASE a replacement part to fix the problem - this was the last straw for me - so I told them that I was done trying to work out the problem and that I just wanted to return it for a refund. I was given an RMA # and I returned the product. About six weeks later, I received a notification from my credit card company saying that since I had not returned the product, they would not honor the disputed charge. After a series of angry phone calls, it turned out that they HAD received the returned product - it must have been sitting on their loading dock for a month. Here's what Paul Haley, President of PC Pitstop, wrote in response to the chargeback: " If we get the unit back, we will refund him the 399.00 minus 15% restocking fee because he wants to return the product outside of the 30 day return window. We did not have to accept the return but we are doing so to be "nice". " After much discussion with a dispute specialist at my credit card company, it turns out that Paul Haley is "right." Even though I started trying to resolve the problem WITHIN the 30 day return window, since I did not specifically ask for a refund in my original email, I have no recourse whatsoever at this time. All PC Pitstop had to do was drag out the emails beyond the 30 day window, and then suggest I PURCHASE something to fix their defect - and as far as the credit card company is concerned, they honored their policies and I can no longer dispute any part of the charge. Live and learn, learn to never purchase anything from PC-Pitstop again.

I started using this company about 3 years ago because they were involved in a local computer show presented by BlueStar Shows. I came to him and he beat everyone's price on what I was looking for, but most importantly, he was local to me. Everybody else was more than 200 miles away. And it helps that he was very cordial and customer oriented. I have built many systems with parts that I purchased from him and he stands behind every part that they sell. If you have a question about any item that he carries, they are extremely knowledgeable about it. I have never had a bad experience when purchasing from them. I give this reseller 5 stars! * * * * * *

I placed an order for a family member, from her home. Items were in stock and shipped immediately. I have ordered from Simplybargains many times now and have never had a problem. I noticed most of the complaints are coming from hardware purchases. I have not ordered hardware here, nor do I plan to. When using the internet to shop for the best prices, use some common sense. If the seller deals PRIMARILY in one item (i.e. inks) only buy that product. You will be a much happier online buyer :)

After three weeks, order was not shipped. I cancelled and am waiting for confirmation of my refund on my credit card. I got the run-around for two days, and they never answered my email. Before they have been prompt and never had a problem, I don't know what happened this time. I hope it does not happen again.

This item was ordered on Thursday August 28 after 2PM. I was billed for UPS Next Day Air Early AM, at a cost of $57.78. The item was shipped on Friday and will not be delivered until Tuesday Sept. 2. Part of the delay was due to the Labor day holiday. They would have been better off shipping regular UPS and it probably would hve been delivered either Tues or Wed. at a cost of less than 25% of what I paid. I feel like I was ripped off paying for a service I did not redeive. The company should have advised me before they shipped it out. Barry Leif

I have purchased items from this company for a number of years and have always been satisfied with their service. Orders have been rapidly processed and shipped, were well packaged and arrived promptly. The quality of the goods has been very high, which may account for the fact that their prices tend to be on the upper end of the scale (you get what you pay for?). Recently, I spent many minutes talking to one of their tech support persons about some special requirements I had in ordering a new "barebones" computer system. He was patient and knowledgeable, even though our conversation did not lead ultimately to an order. I have never had to return a product or encountered technical difficulties with a purchased item, so I cannot comment on their after sales support.

I'm a casual cp builder, and had my fist experience with ls micro late last year (2002). I will never step foot in an ls micro store again. Every piece of hardware I've purchesed from them has had to be returned for failure at least one time and some several times. On the last return of a spacewalker Mobo for the 4th time I was told that they no longer carried that board,and it would take 6-8 weeks to get it back for repair. when I asked what I would do for a cp for the next 2 months I was told I could purches another Mobo. They were not interested in any kind of adjustment toward another board of higher quality. I ask about an asus a7n8x ($155.00 and upgrading to a 2400xp cpu $164.00). Any kind of adjustment would have made me happy. Their reply to me was "what will we do with a junk Mobo". The next day I did buy an asus a7n8x and the 2400xp cpu ($134.00 Mobo $160.00 cpu) from Totally Awesome. You Guys at Ls micro should take a page from Super Dales book on customer relations. You're not the only retail computer component store in the Wasatch Front and deffinently not the best priced.

I have done business several times and built 2 computers buying parts through them. I find them not particularly friendly for the first time customers and their finance system does take a bit of time to work through. ONthe last order I put together a home use computer and had my answers within justr few moments after the sales/service people finished with the customers ahead of me. I would rate this experience about 7 out of 10. Just a comment about purchasing parts from any retailer. If you do not inspect the merchandise in the presence of someone at the store before you pay for it, I am not very impressed with your business sense. I always check parts out before I leave the store to insure the parts are new and I always insist on uncirculated parts. Sometimes it costs me more, but I do get what I need that way. So If you want new parts verify they are new parts before you purchase them.

My second order from eHobbies turned out better than the first. The one thing that drew me to this seller was the pricing, but shipping and handling could definitely be improved (especially for what you pay). The first order, at the end of last year, took well over a week before it arrived. (The shipping rate selected for that purchase was for 3-7 business days.) When I finally received it, everything was covered with a layer of dust, although one thing was musty, and a single item was half opened--which led to the spillout of its contents when removed from the box. Luckily, nothing was destroyed or damaged, but it gave me pause about the company. The second order also took quite a while to arrive in the mail. (It was necessary since I was having issues obtaining an item from many other online and local sellers.) I used the same shipping rate as before, but the contents this time were in good condition, although they were covered with some dust (like before). I'd recommend this company for orders if you can't find things elsewhere, but if something your require is time-sensitive, just pay the extra money with another dealer, or get it locally (if possible).

I bought the socket A to p4 cooler adapter so I can use my Innovatek system to cool my new p4 1.6a. Order was placed in the early AM of Sunday July 21st. Received confirmation emails (2) on Monday the 22nd and a tracking number on the 23rd. Today is the 24th and it is sitting on the chair next to me. No problems, no complaints, and now I dont have to spend $$ on a new waterblock ;-)

Millenium Thermal Solutions... The creator of the famous Millenium Glacitor I and II. I build around ten systems a year on average and I thought , "Cool, I thought that I'd be playing it safe if I went with the company that's going to make my Millenium G-Lite Heatsink. Besides, wouldn't the creator of the company want to represent themselves better if I ordered direct from them?" I was wrong. I ordered this product on Tuesday May 21, 2002. On Thursday I remembered that they had not sent me a tracking number. So I emailed them and let them know that I would have liked a tracking number. Friday afternoon, I receive an email stating that my product just shipped and they supplied the tracking number. First complaint: Order took three-four days to process and ship out. Finally received item after nine days. I received the (2) Millenium G-Lite HeatSink/Fan CPU coolers. But guess what. One of the CPU coolers had a screw missing on the Fan Grille? What the hell is up with that? That is one stupid clumsy mistake made by Millenium Thermal. It made it look sloppy and cheap. If these computers were for me then I wouldn't mind. But these are for two paying clients. Second Complaint: One CPU HSF was missing one out of four screws on the grille. Next they claim this as ":-:The Best In Thermal Performance For The Lowest Noise:-:" Oh B.S.! I bought this thinking I would get a moderately performing, yet quiet CPU Cooling solution. This thing is LOUD and I absolutely hate it. 3rd complaint: Advertised as a quiet solution. It is definitely not. Another reason why this ticks me off is that I am building these computers for two paying clients who specifically wanted a low noise solution. I made a grave mistake here as I hate the amount of noise this makes. I am probably going to have to ebay these or something. _____ TIP: ----- If you're thinking of ordering from Millenium Thermal think again take a look at the Thermalright AX7. It costs around $25.00-$30.00. You can customize the fan that goes on it to fit your low-noise needs. It is an excellent performer and has many great reviews. Overall, Millenium Thermal took nine days for me to get the product, shipped one of the CPU heatsinks without a screw, claimed to have a low noise solution although it is LOUD, and have one of the most strict return policies. And the G-Lite from Millenium Thermal absolutely sucks. Sloppy sloppy sloppy.

I purchased a Lian-Li PC-60 case and Shuttle AK35GT2R motherboard from Robert. The Shuttle board was not listed on his sight at the time, but a phone call to him and he said he could get it for me. It was the next day when he had it and shipped it. Great service. Shipping was fast and I was back together and running in a matter of a week. I broke a switch on the case in my transition and called Robert and he gave me a good price on a replacement part and mailed it out quickly. I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and honestly. Thumbs up from me.

Found what I was looking for (rounded cables) at a cheaper price than the lowest seller listed on pricewatch (the pricewatch dealer said $1 shipping then wanted $10 when I tried to place the order) I was obviously completely satisfied with the price, shipping cost ($4 FedEx ground), and delivery time. So-Trick definitely does what they promise to do when they promise to do it.

Thank you for making this purchase easy. That was the best part of the experience. You did begin to slide after that. For days, your site said the purchase shipped. UPS said the tracking number was invalid. By the end of the week. I got another mail *confirming shipment*. Apparently you call a product "shipped" after a shipping label has been printed rather than when a courier makes a pickup. I don't know if that's technically illegal, but it is misleading. When my product arrived, I was surprised that the product was not wrapped in any anti-static packaging. in fact it shipped in a large empty storage tray. That is not how I would have handled sensitive electronic components. When I get my PC down to my antistatic worksite and get the memory installed, I will be confident that it will work, although I am now doubtful as to how long it will work. Please take my comments constructively. We know you can do better, and we hope you do.

I purchased two cisco routers. They were advertised as new. After contacting cisco with the serial numbers I found out they were refurbished. Lanstreet refused to replace with new since we were over the 30 return period. I would watch out for selling refurbished equipment as new.

I was so excited when i found a Samsung 37inch 1080p LCD for a great price in the clearance outlet. I purchased the TV on 9/19/11 and the shipping label was made. Now 6 days later still no showing as shipped I got worried it is now 9/29/11 and I just found out it has been sitting in the warehouse this whole time even though i have called three or four times and they FINALLY spoke to someone in the warehouse. So as it stands my TV will be shipped overnight to me the only problem it wont be here till Monday even though its Thursday night and I have company coming over this weekend and I have two small children at home with no working TV which I told the first guy I spoke to who claimed he would speak with the manager at the warehouse three days ago. I am so beyond upset at this situation after I went telling everyone about how great this site seemed. I just hope anyone I told does not have the same problem of people looking at a box for 10 days and doing nothing with it because I will look stupid! I look forward to the next 4 days of NO TV and I am hoping it will actually be here. Update: The TV was delivered on Monday in perfect condition and im very happy. My biggest problem is the fact they said "UPS DOES NOT DELIVER ON SATURDAY'S" I would have been more understanding if they said as you said "do not have that option" also the fact I called over two times a day for three days without any call back as promised. I understand mistakes happen but they should have been corrected day one not going on day 4. Again I am happy with the TV and I will consider ordering from Vann's again. The only thing I know is now I will not wait 5 days to call if not shipped out again I will be more aggressive with future purchases!

I purchased a fiber optic tree from this company a little early as I did not want to find the product out of stock due to the Christmas rush. My wife put the package into the guest bedroom closet when it arrived UPS. I did not look at the package until the day after Thanksgiving. (Today) When I went to get the package I noticed that it had been opened then resealed. However, it was a christmas tree....right? How much damage could it have? I decided to plug it in right away and make sure the bulb lit up. (No such luck!) But the unit came with a spare bulb. So I went to replace the bulb. I noticed when taking out the old bulb that did not work,....it had a 12V 35watt bulb in it. The spare bulb was a 12V 20Watt bulb. Which bulb was correct? I immediatly called the Christmas Depot. They informed me that I had gone past my 15 day return policy. Now here is a company that charged me $100.00 for a four foot tree. They charged me an additional $18.62 for shipping the very light package. And still sent me a used tree. Then the quality of the tree is no better than you can buy at your local Walmart. My advice,.......stay away from this scamming company. On top of that,.....they will only let you talk to someone in person if you are buying something. If you have a customer relations problem,.......they want you to email them so they can get back to you when they want to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU AS THEY HAVE DONE WITH ME!

I ordered a nutcracker from Christmas Depot (CD). It arrived Dec. 17th. The nose was broken off and broken. I could not glue it. I returned to their web page and informed them it came broken and followed the instructions to get an RA #. After going around and around with them on who pays for the shipping, I shipped it out on the 20th of December. They received it Jan. 2nd and they refused it. I got it back Jan.6th and started calling. First I was told that they no longer had it in stock so they could not replace it. Then I was told I did not return it before Dec. 24th so they refused it. I told them it did not mention this Dec. 24th return date in any of my emails or the RA# form. They told me where to look. First, one of several links in the email that told me how to get my RA# led to a CD page that showed a list of the email correspondences. I needed to call up the log for these emails (all of which I had already read and did not need to read again on their page) and at the bottom of this page it states you can not return anything after Dec. 24th. I asked why they would not take it back and file a claim with UPS. They told me it would be easier if I filed a claim with UPS and tell them it was broken after I shipped it back to them (illegal). When I ask if they would have wanted me to ship it back on Dec. 20th with a guarantee to be there by Dec. 24th which would have cost $50-$60, they tell me I need to speak to their supervisor. All I get is his voice mail and he does not answer my calls. I am at a loss and do not know what to do next. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

I did not know of ResellerRatings before today, so I had to open Refurb Depot's file that had mostly expired emails. --- However, I purchased a multimedia computer and monitor that was supposed to have been rebuilt and warrantied by HP. The monitor that came in was NOT an HP monitor, and Refurb Depot claimed it was an HP even after I sent back photos of the carton and monitor. The HP computer was NOT rebuilt and warrantied by HP. ----- After an almost two month battle between Refurb Depot, myself and American Express, American Express removed my charge. ----RefurbDepot are nothing less than thieves. i ordered 1 each sony cdrw, dvd, & floppy drive (all OEM), all silver. the prices were okay, i'm sure i could've found better (and worse), but i liked the fact that i could buy all 3 drives from them at once & i was looking for silver to match my case so paying a little more wasn't a problem. colorcase didn't send me a confirmation email when i ordered, but not a big deal. there was a two to three day delay because the sony dvd drive i ordered wasn't in stock. they emailed me the next day (or so) from my order date and said they had the liteon dvd in stock instead & it was comparably priced (and was retail so that was cool), so i got it. everything arrived neatly packed, in one box & the drives in fine condition. a corner of the outer box & the corresponding corner of the retail box for my liteon was crushed in a little bit thanks to the US postal service's priority mail, but the drive was fine. after they shipped out i only had to wait a day or two, so that was great. i had emailed them a question about a drive several days before i ordered & they never answered back. they did however email me when the drive i ordered was out of stock so that was nice. but everything works very well & overall i am happy with my experience with colorcase. i love my computer--it rocks.

Over the years I have had many occasions to witness many different and interesting scenario's at their Establishment.I can say this about the Staff there, They are TOP Notch in all respects. I have never had a problem with returning, defective, failed, unused products. If you are within the appropriate time limits, there are no hassles. I don't know of anyone who will give you 30 Days to decide whether or not you want to keep an entire Computer System!!! Their prices are extremely hard to beat, and their shipping charges are just that, shipping charges, not an avenue for a little more profit! They can be a little tempermental at times, but that can be attributed to the attitudes that some of their customers have brought to the table. I purchase a MSI Metis 266 slim PC from them. When I ordered it the webpage said it was in stock but when I got the confirmation e-mail it said it was back ordered. Honestly, I was not surprised because of the scarcity of this item and since this item was just released by MSI. NextGen would e-mail every 3 days or so saying the status of the order. It was backordered for about 3 weeks all said and done. When I recieved the computer everything packaged well and correctly. I still have yet to test the machine since I don't have all of the other parts at the moment to test, but it still was still in the retail box when it was shipped so I have little worries about it being bad.

Puget systems does not have that sexy name of alienware or ibuypower or falcon northwest though upon looking at their website they carry the same high end NVIDIA cards, the same intel i7s, and SSDs. The price is much less than the brand name gaming rigs. I did not see any sort of extended warrenty of the site though, so that part leaves me worried.

I ordered a depth sounder from this company on 8/19. They immediately sent an email saying that they had charged my credit card. However, 11 days later I still have not received a notice about shipping. I sent them an email, and got no response within 3 days. I called them several times, and every time I called they had an answering machine saying "all sales representatives are busy assisting customers. Please leave your name and number and a sales representative will call you back...". No response from them. Their web site says you can contact them via AOL instant messenger. Well I put them on my "buddy" list, and they were logged in maybe 10 minutes all day. Unfortunately I couldn't find my order number within those 10 minutes, so it was back to more conventional means of trying to contact them. Their policy of charging my card immediately and the difficulty of contacting them make me feel like I'm being scammed. Maybe it's a scam, and maybe it's not. But one thing is for sure...I'm going to cancel my credit card order ASAP.

I had an excellent experience purchasing from Online Marine. Their price on the trolling motor that I wanted beat anyone elses that I could find. The shipping on this large item was a bargain also through a special on their site. Not having dealt with this store before, and reading a few negative reviews, I was a little skeptical. I decided to call first to see if they had the model I wanted in stock before I placed the online order. I got right through to someone on their toll-free number who was very helpful in looking it up. I placed the online order on the 10th and had the trolling motor by the 13th. I would definately do business with them again.

Micron, was my very first computer I purchased (in March of 1998). It was a Pentium III 300 MHz with a 4GB SCSI hard drive, and a 16mb video card (old times ha?) LOL. This system worked very well. Since I was very new to computers, I have made lots and lots of phone calls to Micron. On average I was on hold for 30 to 45 minutes. Sometimes as long as 1.5 hours (this is not an exaggeration). They must've been very busy. At one point Micron implemented a phone system, to where you call in, you can be on hold for up to 15 to 25 minutes, and then automated systems tells you that there is high volume of calls to please call back, and it would hang up on you. That was an extremely frustrating experience. I think they got enough outrageous feedback, that they discontinued this practice. On to my PC... Along with the Desktop, I purchased a 19" Hitachi monitor (which was the best monitor to date) of course it costs $1000 just for the monitor alone!! Most of the times, my issue was resolved. Couple of times, the issue could only be resolved by reinstalling the OS (win 95b at the time). At one time this computer failed to boot to desktop, and after unsuccessful troubleshooting, micron decided it was a faulty motherboard. This was about one year into my ownership of this system. This system came with a standard 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. Micron sent a technician to my apartment, who came in and replaced a motherboard on my PC. I was very, very pleased with them. A year later, my CPU died, where again, my computer wouldn’t boot. I was asked to pack the system up and send to micron. A week later, I received a completely different system from micron, this new system was a refurbished model, but it was double of everything I originally had. For example it was a Pentium III 600MHz, with a SCSI hard drive of 9 GB, 32 MB video card. I was in seventh haven. The only concern I had that maybe the refurbished system may crap out in no time. Well, to this date (mid 2003) it is still running strong. In fact a year and a half ago, I sold this PC to my brother and he is still running it, no problems with it WHATSOEVER!! My Micron was an incredible machine. If I hadn't started building my own CUSTOM systems, I'd still be purchasing from Micron. They are ONE SOLID COMPANY!! I recommended Micron to a friend of mine and he went ahead and purchased a system from Micron late 1999, he still has this system to this date, (it is a Pentium III 450 MHz system) no problems and no failed compnonents ever!!

My friend bought a Maxtor 40 gig 5400 RPM hardisk at BestBuy as an upgrade. I Installed it easily, worked fine. Came back from X-mass vacation and my friends computer had crashed cause someone else 'installed a bad video card' or something wierd. I ended-up buying the hardisk to help my friend out, as I needed a new one anyway. But my computer wouldn't recognize the primay master (the hardisk). I doublechecked the jumpers for my old OS (win98), and they were ok. So I reverified them on their website and that still didn't fix the problem. So I called tech support, and within 1 minute had the problem fixed. My bios required a different jumper setting that the tech support guy gave me right away, and what seemed like a big problem was solved easily. Their website has a huge database for troubleshooting, but if most of the support staff is as good as what I receieved I would recommend just calling in for any prooblems. Maxtor is pretty good, and they are the only hardisk co to offer Ultra ATA133, if your mobo has the capability.

I ordered 2 Acer desktop computers from LA Computers and before ordering online, I called them up to confirm that they had them in stock. They put me on hold for a while and said that yes, they had them in stock. They lied. They don't have them in stock and never bothered to call me or email me to let me know what was going on. I tried calling but you just get put on hold forever. At least they haven't charged my credit card. Don't even think about doing business with this company. They probably don't stock anything, just drop ship stuff. They seem like a pretty shady operation. I wish I would have checked their reviews on here before ordering.

I returned a phone charger that did not work with my Audiovox phone on March 7. The website indicated that it would be a compatible charger, but I got an error message every time I connected it to my phone. I know that my phone is in good working order because it charges properly with my car cigarette-lighter charging device. On March 17 I wrote to the company and received a reply from Brian Stroker with instructions and he asked me for a RMA number. I replied on March 17 that I did not have such a number and it was likely on the papers that I returned with the charger. I offered to track the package through the postal service if needed. I received no reply and therefore sent the same message on March 25. I still heard nothing back from the company and wrote again requesting a reply on March 28th. I wrote again on April 2 and 8. I have also called the support number several times and the recording says that I cannot leave a message because the memory has been exceeded. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and the manner in which this has been handled (or rather, not handled). The company does have a line on their website saying that if an item is returned without an RMA number it will be refused - well, they kept my package, it was not refused and returned to me AND they kept my money.

I ordered an OEM replacement battery from MobilizeNow quite recently. When I try to track my order, the website refuses to validate my password, thus keeping me from logging in. I have tried to call many times, but only get the answering machine that always picks up. I also tried to email them at info@MobilizeNow, and the emails are returned, with the host site being non-existant. I threatened to turn them in to the authorities as consumer fraud. Then and only then did I receive an email from the aforementioned Brian Stoker asking how I could be helped. I tried again to contact the company this morning and now the website itself will not work properly, citing an error and directing one to return to the previous page. I do believe I will report this company as fraudlent and have the proper Agency take a look at this company. This company has taken my money and have delivered no product for one thing and then they are unavailable whenever one tries to contact them. I will also direct the agency to this site as apparently I am not the only one getting screwed out of their money.

I ordered a system from Newegg, but the Athlon XP 1800+ chip sold out before I could complete my order. I went on Pricewatch & 1steweb.net had the lowest price for them, so I ordered one. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this site until later. A few days later the rest of the system arrived, after waiting over a week for the CPU I emailed the company, and a I got a reply a couple of days later that said my email was being directed to the right department, and someone would get back to me "as soon as possible". Another week, more ignored emails & some phone calls to a very rude customer service rep who repeatedly hung up on me, and I finally got through to someone else who told me that the 1800+ was out of stock, but one was expected to arrive the next day & they'd ship one out ASAP. This not being nearly good enough, I cancelled my order. It's been over a week, my emails are still being ignored, and the company's voicemail has been too full to leave a message on for weeks. I'm still hung up on when I call to find out the status of my refund, so now I've got to get involved in a bunch of legal nonsense. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Update...later that night, the rude girl called me back & told me the credit card would be compensated at midnight that night. Yesterday, the money finally showed up. I ended up getting an XP 1800+ for $122 at a local computer show. My system rocks now. :) I'm not sure if the credit card company got this through somehow, because we had already started the paperwork, or if 1steweb just finally got around to it. I'm just glad I got my money back, tough it would have been nice to have a running computer for the past month. Caveat emptor, I'll always check someplace new here 1st, though Newegg's probably got most of my business from now on.

These people have horrible customer service, Its been almost a week and I have received no information on the status of my order, 2 Days ago I tried their automated status lookup and have not received any emails, then when I called and the lady who answered was very rude and would not help me at all. This is not a way to do business, They may have good pricing, but they have terrible customer service . I would definately recommend for anyone to go spend more money elsewhere to not have to deal with these people.

Placed order on Friday 8/15, Stated "please adjust website price to reflect price watch price, no substitutions, if your out of stock, e-mail or call me." (shouldn't it already be the same price, not $.99 more expensive?) I recieve an e-mail confirming my order. I wait 2 days with no shipping e-mail. I go to check the status of my order. "Your order has been cancelled" So I make a phone call using the number listed on thier site, answering machine picks up, CS hours are from 9-12 (3hours, WTH?)I call again the next day, have to leave message, no one ever calls back. I send 2 e-mails asking why my order was cancelled. Finnally 8/21 I recieve a response e-mail stating "(Second notice... Cancellation) Your order was cancelled because we are out of stock." Well gee thanks for telling me, I just love waiting a week to find these things out. (AND NO, THEY DIDN'T SEND A FIRST NOTICE!) Don't follow my order asking you to notify me, wait till I complain then trash my order. Are these the kind of people you want to give your hard earned money to? Read thier other reveiws, they aren't doing too well.

My first experience buying a laptop in US. Couldn't be worse because of Infinity-Micro's terrible service. Ordered an IBM T40 on Jan. 22nd 2004 from Infinity-Micro and haven't got it yet (Feb. 27 2004). They withdrew the money from my check on Feb. 9th even when they knew that their T40 had been out of stock. They never called or sent an email to let me know that it was out of stock. The post saying that their T40 was in stock disappeared from www.resellerratings.com only several days before Feb. 27. They were cheating. When I called them on Feb. 18, they told me that they had to confirm my check. But my bank account told me that they had already withdrawn the money (on Feb 9)!! When I told them the fact they promised to ship the machine "tomorrow" as "scheduled" while they knew it was actually out of stock. I waited till the next Monday. Nothing came. I called several times that day. THEY became IMPATIENT (!) and I couldn't find anybody who could give me any useful information concerning my order. They just transferred me from one extention to another or told me to "call an hour later". I called next day (Feb. 24)for several times again and finally found a guy called "Matthew", their "shipping manager" who told me (finally!) that their T40 was out of stock as early as when they got my money. I was furious. Matthew suggested that I change it into a T41 but I had to pay 150 bucks more. I accepted, sure that they would never return the money if I cancelled the order at that time. I was feeling practically being robbed! I told Matthew my Credit Card Number and he promised to ship it "today (24)". But he didn't. When I called again late that day he told me he would do it "tomorrow" (Feb. 25) because "the warehouse was already closed". When I called the next day (Feb. 25th)I was told by another guy that they still had to "confirm my check" (almost a month after they got the cash, for God's sake! ). I told him that they have got the cash and Matthew had promised to ship the laptop. He told me to talk to Matthew who was late and not there yet. I found Matthew by another call and he told me the laptop had been shipped out "definitely" and would arrive "within two days", that is, no later than Feb. 27. I felt so grateful! On 26th I got an email from Matthew telling me the fedex tracking number. I did the tracking and to my angry surprise the estimated delivery date is March 1, not Feb. 27 because Matthew chose the "express saver" (within three days and no delivery on weekends) instead of the 2-day express. They are utter liars. Never ever ever buy anything from Infinity-Micro. For God's sake how can they still be there doing business?

I purchased some network interface cards for servers and they emailed for information about the credit card I didn't have (department card, set up by another dept, probably one of two possible business offices). When I called, the sales person was rude, repeatedly interrupting me to restate points I already fully understood. I had to resort to raising my voice in several escalating steps to the point of shouting to finish my point. Not good. Also not good: they shipped the cards without the "included" low profile brackets and have ignored my emails on the matter.

Made two orders over the course of about a week. First order was for a Samsung hard drive and an ATI graphics card, second was for a Samsung optical drive. First order was processed without a hitch and arrived within two working days, second order was held up by roadworks during delivery, but was delivered the next day, which was a Saturday, before 9 a.m., free of charge. Very informative customer service, easy website to use and fast delivery. When the hard drive failed, RMA service was quick and easy, and the replacement arrived two days after I mailed the faulty one off. I was kept in the loop by email at all times.

I ran-up $160 of long-dist charges because their thec support phone number is an 'international' call from the US. They should have either a tool-free # (800 - ... ) or a US phone number. At the very least, their thec support people should 'warn' customers that they are calling an 'international' number.

Been using their Video Cards for a few years now. The AIW series are excilent. I am not useing the AIT 8500DV with no problems, Fast GPU, great TV tunner, and Firewire is just wonderfull. I will be using ATI for a long time to come.

I hate to admit it but I've been ordering electronic parts for almost 60 years - starting with ordering from the encyclopedic 'Allied Radio' catalog in the 1950's. I was heartbroken when they were bought out by the Rat Shack (Radio Shack) So then I found DigiKey - an online store with incredible inventory and excellent service. Our company develops and manufactures short runs (prototype quantities) of custom electronic devices for our clients - making 100 of something is rare for us, usually it's 10 or 25 pieces.- and Digikey seems happy enough with our small orders. No minimum order (although the postage or UPS is sometimes more than the parts we order) and their website ha an excellent search facility and selection matrix for parts that makes finding and ordering easy. You also get real-time information on pricing and stock status for the parts you order. They even let you assign your own part numbers to the parts that you order and then they arrive with our part numbers on the labels. Pretty cool! Their prices are quantity based and in hundreds or thousands of pieces it looks like you get the same deal as the big boys - In dozens (maybe hundreds, I've lost count) of orders we've placed with Digikey only once or twice have they shipped the wrong part - and a phone call or email gets it sorted out very quickly.

over several years i have made many small purchases from SmallDog and always found them responsive to sales questions and problems, plus forthright in how they deal with customers; the buying experience clearly reflects that this is an ethically-based business which values more than just profits once i had ordered a computer from MacMall, but then got a notice from MacMall the order was cancelled due to lack of stock, so i ordered a similar item from SmallDog; then the next day the MacMall package was delivered anyway; the SmallDog rep was very understanding and friendly, even sympathetic, while cancelling my order without problem i've read several of the reviews here, and i don't see any that are obviously planted; SmallDog really does engender glowing reviews because it represents an ethical alternative in the marketplace

I have purchased over a dozen times with SmallDog during the last year. This has included 3 computer systems, High end CRT's, music players, software of all types, networking hardware, and other accessories. They have good prices, knowledgable people, and A +++ service. I have had one problem in all of this time and it was resolved in less than 5 minutes in a very friendly way on the first phone call. If a customer can be more than 100% satisfied, then that is me. We recently took in our family 8mm tapes to be made into DVD's. What a disaster! Of the 50 tapes, we brought in, 11 came back without sound. When we played several of the others, there was background clicking on some, and discs that would freeze up on others. I took them to Allied Digital and re-did them, and they turned out perfect. Obviously, the equipment Milwaukee PC uses is junk. I had to eat hundreds of dollars, because by the time we got around to viewing many of the discs, it was beyond the 15 day return period and Milwaukee PC would not refund my money.

i got a new pc from mpc and i had it for 13 day now part's were all installed not a thing bad about it gave me a good deal it would have cost me 2500 and up from dell or any other place if i had a ? it got toke care of the thing i did not like when i got it was the xp home disk siad recovery on it but i called and tould me it was not a recovery disk like you get with a lot of bought in store 's like wallmart and on p.c 's it was just like a os you buy in the store's full os iike the way they toke care of makeing my p.c update after 6 mo's of this pc runing fine . it died .. had to rebuild the all most the whole thing my self .. the store . did not help me 1 bit they did not keep any word they said . 1 of the new store mangee's tould me that all gameing pc are just troble ..a lot more ... Milwaukee PC is good for part's that it !!!

I have been buying equipment from Evertek for over ten years now. Most of the time the experience is good. My merchandise is received in good condition and shipping is on time. But if there is a problem the situation is much different. I ordered several iPads recently from Evertek. One of the iPads I received was faulty. Initially, when I received the unit it worked for about 15 minutes and then completely failed, DOA. I promptly returned the unit to Evertek after obtaining an RMA. It took them over ten business days to even address the problem. Then they stated that they would issue a credit memo. And now, after 12 business days have elapsed I have still to receive a refund. Not only do I not have the merchandise I ordered but I had to pay for shipping in both directions and I doubt that they will volunteer to reimburse me for that.

First time buyer from ePowerhousePC, they were very fast to call me within 5-10min of me placing my order and letting me know I had mistyped something and this mistake would stop my order. The person on the phone was polite and friendly. The case I ordered finally arrived and upon inspection I see it came with a 350w powersupply instead of the 420w one their website said it would. I called them and the person said it was a mistake on their part and the pictures and info were a carry over from a back up of their old database. The person on the phone then said they would call me back or email me, they did'nt make it clear they would send me a replacement powersupply even though their website has the case listed as having a 420w unit. I took a screenshot of the webpage and hosted it at fileshack for all to see. http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/3493/420wpsu1dz.jpg I had the feeling they would change the info at their site and then brush me off. After about a week I recieved a call from ePowerhousePC and they said they would ship me a 420w psu. Thanks for doing the right thing and taking care of your customer. I would'nt have bought the case if I had known it came with a 350w PSU. Well not much else to say, ePowerhousePC took care of me and I'm happy.

It took them over three weeks to ship the product to me (a Renegade system). This, after the web site saying 2 or 3 days and then a follow-up email saying 5 to 10 days. OK I finally get the stuff in and get the stuff put together with not to much difficulty. However, after 5 days of running the system the reservoir starts emitting this load obnoxious whining noise. I wrote tech support to ask them if they had any ideas about what I could do, and if not I wanted to return the reservoir for a refund or store credit as I would have to replace it to keep the system online. I received an automated response saying they would try and get back with me within 48 hours. 58 hours later (and still no reply) I wrote them another email (this time to every email for them I could find) asking them to help me with my problem or I would be forced to take matters into my own hands. Oh well they decided I was insignificant I guess because 24 hours later I still have not heard from anyone at Overclockers Hideout. It is a shame too because they have a real nice product (when it works). Their water blocks are great, and the lian-Li case is fantastic. Their service SUX!!. Do NOT buy their reservoir. It has lots of bugs in it (literally, I can hear them). Do NOT buy systems or kits that they have to put together unless you don’t mind waiting an unspecified amount of time. DO buy their water blocks. Very nice! Don’t expect any kind of service or support. If you are one of the lucky few who get support, well, good on ya!.

This company had the nerve to bill me for one of 2 items I purchased online, charge me full shipping, without first contacting me to see if I even wanted to wait for the rest of my order! VERY shady business practice, as they could string you along for weeks or forever and not even complete the order (but you end up paying a lot more for a single item plus full shipping for both). This dips their resellerrating below the mendoza line (5.0), and rightfull so -- learn how to run a business first, then hit the internet!

I ordered two car chargers, a rapid charger, and a new battery for my Nokia 3360. Prices were excellent and shipping was reasonable, shipping turnaround was fine. The chargers work fine, although the battery was DOA. They cross-shipped me a different battery (they paid shipping both ways), and actually shipped me a nicer battery at no extra charge. Customer service was responsive and polite. All in all, a good experience.

This was my fifth purchase from Compuvision in the past two years and have had very little problems when ordering. A minor problem during the shippig of my fourth order occured but I received immediate feedback and assistance in regards to it. Customer support is the best I've encountered on an online shopping site. My previous purchases included a new heatsink, processor, and power supply for my computer(s) and a lot of cooling hardware, from fans, grills, screws and most recently, a Vantec rheobus. Prices are highly competetive and the deals on shipping and various items are great. Highly recommended for your Computing and Cooling needs.

Ordered items and was sent a further email that they have been shipped May 8th. Checked reference number with Canada Post and they had no listing of the number. Emailed CompuVision on May 17th requesting tracking information. Did not receive a reply. Email again on May 19th, no reply. Paid $29.90 for freight for 4 X 3.5gram tubes of Artic Siver. Today is May 24th and have not received order or a reply to email. This company does not give any customer service at all. Paid $72.49 and have not received anything. I will be going back to my Credit Card Company when I received my bill to reverse the charges. **Finally received a reply to my emails on May 24th. They resent the package and it arrived on May 27th. All is well but they could have avoided alot of problems by replying promptly. I won't use them again.
