Quick and easy process, with hopefully no hidden charges, although when making the booking, once I had entered my address details which are in China, the site switched to Chinese language and currency and I couldn't find away to switch back to English & GBP. luckily as a Brit living in China I am used to things like this and continued using the google translate app on my phone. hope it was accurate and all goes to plan:)

no problem with your site but 121 carhire site had a problem having put in all my details it told me a error so had to again state where I lived,which is uk most of the year, but also own property in Spain, it in the end took Spain having tried three times.

We booked a car for 6 days. Due to a change of plans we had to delay the pick up time, from 10 am to 2pm. Although we tried, we could not get in contact with anyone to inform about this delay. But since the booking was already paid, we assumed it would be no problem. Terms and Conditions state that "Auto Europe does not refund any unused days if the customer does not show up, shows up late or returns the vehicle early." We understand from this that we would not have a refund for the unused time, not that we cannot have the car for any day if we show up late. Later on the phone, they told us that they only keep the reservation for 30 minutes (!) after the pick up time, and it is cancelled without refund after that. This is not said anywhere in the "Terms and Conditions". Costumer service on the phone were very impolite, blaming us for arriving late and saying that it was obvious they could not keep the reservation if we did not show up on time. As we needed a car, we booked another one, with the same company. This time we did not get the car either, because we presented a valid credit card, as required, but it was a Spanish Visa card. We are Spanish, and we have passport and ID with this address. But we have just moved to UK, so we gave the UK address for the reservation, understanding it would be more convenient for the company, as the rental was in UK. It turns out that they the car rental company (Keddy) would not accept a Spanish credit car because we had an UK address. We had a UK debit car, and were willing to pay any additional fee to cover the excess directly with Keddy. But they would not accept these solutions either. They just did not want to give us the twice paid car. In conclusion: we paid two reservations for six days and we did not get any car. The car in both cases was denied for reasons not stated in the "Terms and Conditions".

The website offers prices based on being 25 and older but in the Terms and Conditions it says 26 and older. My girlfriend and I booked a car with them and didn't find out until we were in another country that it was 26 and older and therefore would have to pay an extra €35/day to rent the car. When I approached PR about this they responded with, 'See terms and conditions.' This company doesn't seem to have a problem with saying one thing and then another in the fine print, and I would think it's fair to say that if they're willing to deceive consumers related to prices based on age, they are willing to deceive for their benefit in other ways. They did not recompense the extra money we spent because of their false advertising and I will not recommend booking with them, especially if you are close to the age I mentioned.

The 121 car rental site was very straightforward to use and made it plain that there were no hidden extras, including late night pickup fees and breakdown cover. The only criticism I would have is the number of times that I am being pressed to take the extra insurance cover, and think that it would be beneficial to your customers to have the opportunity to tell you that they already have a policy that covers the extras. This is not a criticism of your company but rather the industry in general, but I would like to say that I do have the policy.?

I thought I'd booked the car for Miami airport, but should have collected it from downtown, the lady who served us changed the contract without any fuss or additional costs. I must say Shawn at the Heathrow branch was very helpful and did a great job in taking care of us considering a very windy day and rain. He helped us with our luggage and did his best In making sure that our rental time was enjoyable. I will not hesitate to book with them again.

Over a number of years now I have used 121 and achieved the best car rental rates in many different countries.They have consistently produced the best - and most reliable results. Enough said !

I have been renting cars through CarRentals for over 10 years and have never found a better price or deal anywhere on the web. Other rental companies seem cheaper at first but when you check further they don't include the damage and loss waiver like CarRentals who do include it in their price. They are up front and have no hidden costs. Any problems are dealt with speedily and courteously. I highly recommend CarRentals as they are honest and genuine with their deals.

This is the second time that I'm using Carrentals.co.uk because the first experience was very positive: good price, easy pick-up at the Birmingham airport/station and a super little car. I am slightly confused, though, as first time around it was Green Motion, who were excellent, and now I can't find them but have been channeled into a deal with 121. Are Green Motion and 121 and the pick-up site (at the station) the same? I hope so, as the former was very good and is the reason that I'm re-booking with this website.

The easiest out of 4 websites tried and the only one that offered what I wanted. It allowed lots of specific requirements such as automatic, aircon, Full to Full fuel policy and different pick-up and drop-off.. It would have been even better if it had clearly stated, on the first offer page, that full payment was upfront, at booking.

I love CarRentals.co.uk because I need hire cars on a very regular basis and they never fail to find the best price. As well as that, they work with companies that provide a high quality of service and I have never had any negative experiences whatsoever. Given that I use them on average three times a month, I genuinely cannot fault them.
