I ordered 3 ink cartridges on Aug 15, 2006 (order # 231809). The "track order" function at the website indicated that it shipped on August 15. I called Aug 28 was told that the order was never shipped, due to "quality control problems".

My experience is similar to the rest...ordered 8/28 and as of 10/30 I have yet to receive my order. Completely unable to contact the company. If miracle of miracles, you get through on the phone and their mailbox isn't full and you aren't put on hold for a half-hour and you do get to leave a message, they do not call you back anyway. When "Anthony" of live customer service fame isn't promising you he'll send your request to the shipping department he's telling you he has no way of looking up orders. Which makes complete sense, because why would a customer service representative be able to look up customers' orders? Forget trying to email them. You get an automated reply thanking you for contacting them and a promise that they'll get back to you within 48 hours and, lo and behold, you never hear from them.

Interestingly enough, I received an email from them this weekend, October 27th, saying that they shipped my package out on October 30th. Humorous. Unfortunately, I'm told, a "small percentage" of their packages have not been delivered and, as a result, sent back to them. I'm assured that they've "corrected the cause of the problem" and as one of the "unfortunate customers" whose order was returned to them they have reshipped it. Three days in the future.

As a customer who has previously ordered from them and been happy, I agree with a previous poster that something has happened to the company

After reading some of these other comments, it makes one wonder why anyone would order from EZinkjets but I have been dealing with them for a couple of years now and I never have had a problem with my order. In fact, I had a defective color cartridge that wasn't discovered for a few months; when I first ordered it appeared that I needed a new cartridge right away but the old one just kept going and going. I emailed customer service and they sent me a new cartridge immediately. Thus, they are fine with me and I will continue to order from them.

I ordered 6 black ink cartridges and 4 tri-color cartridges. What I got was only the black ink cartridges and no color ink at all. I've written this company several times and NEVER get an answer. I called the customer service and was told that the tr-color ink did not pass inspection tests. I was then told I'd receive these (4) color cartridges within a week. It's been nearly two weeks and I still have not received anything from this company. Meanwhile I paid $118.45. The black ink totalled $43.49. I am out $74.96 now and must DISPUTE this with my credit card company.

I will never do business with such an UNPROFESSIONAL company again. I wish that I had read the reviews posted before placing the order. Now I know better.

Immediately installed black refill, worked like a charm. Best price, and based upon delivery, best deal.

In all of the years I've been buying online, I've only had 2 experiences where the retailer actually ripped me off. EZInkjets is one of those retailers. They sent me defective cartridges and never replaced them or returned my emails. They're a company run by people without any ethics. They cannot be trusted. I strongly suggest that you stay as far away from this dealer as you can.

An update to my previous post:

The reman HP C1823 color cartridge that I ordered in December failed in March. Half the yellow jets quit working and no amount of cleaning and priming would fix the problem. I requested an RMA from EZInkjets and received a reply within a couple of days. I shipped the cartridge back on April 9, 2003 and the long wait began. I emailed them twice after 4 weeks had passed without credit being issued. After several days I received an email stating that their RMA/Credit system was having problems, and that I should receive credit within 10 business days (remember, this is a month after I returned the cartridge). Finally, today, May 23, 2003, my credit card was credited with a full refund. It took 45 days for me to get credit. Far too long. Maybe I should feel lucky that I even got it. After good initial service from this vendor, I am now rather disappointed. I bought a reman Pelikan cartridge from Wal-Mart for only $3.00 more and it is working just fine.

Placed my order 25 days ago, almost 4 weeks ago! I haven't received my order yet, and I live in the same state they are in! Their 'tracking status of order' feature on the website gives me an "internal error". Called for assistance, and the recording said push 1 to place an order and 2 for questions regarding existing order. When I pushed 2, the recording said that "they are not equip to handle order inquires over the phone, and to please e-mail them if it has been over ten days and have not received package". So I e-mailed them, and they just replied back with an automated receipt that I already had. So I called back a bit wiser this time, and pushed 1 for 'placing an order', and I got to speak to a representative within about 15 seconds. They told me the items had been backordered for three days, but they shipped it out three days after I placed my order. However on the automated receipt that I received after I placed my order that went to my e-mail had "in stock" next to the items. Unfortunately they do not give tracking numbers once the packages are shipped, so I have no way of tracking the package if indeed they really did ship it:) By the way, they charged my visa check card the two days after I placed my order:) I recommend ordering your ink from somebody else. I've had good experiences with abcink and 123ink.

Apparently this company is now ink jets 5. I ordered from them, my credit card was charged, but I didn't receive the merchandise. I e-mailed and called them multiple times but was continually given the run-around. I clicked on the link recently to ez inkjets and was redirected to ink jets 5. I called the number listed and was told they are not ezinkjets, they just purchased their database. But when you enter the url ezinkjets.com you end up at their site, inkjets5.com, so they must have purchased the company. I told the fellow they must be liable for ezinkjets orders. He said no, but gave me the number for a Dr. Holt who he said was handling litigation against ezinkjets. I called him but he never returned the call. I didn't expect that he would, as this is more smoke and mirrors from the company that was ezinkjets. Good luck on ordering from this company, a ripoff company by any other name will still rip you off.

Printouts on my HP Deskjet 722c were coming out faded, comparing OEM to Remanufactured cartridges there was a $20 difference. I found EZInkjets.com and they offered Remanufactured cartridges for 7.49/ea. I ordered 2; shipping & tax was free and I also got 25% off for registering. Rec'd order in 3 days. My printer works like new again. Waiting to see if they last the 830 Pgs as stated! Wow, I must be the only person that got their order - didn't even know there were so many bad experiences with this company until I read some reviews after the fact...Looks like this was a one time lucky chance, reordered again afterwards and only got half the shipment and they disappeared or renamed themselves something else on the web. Never got the rest of my order - buyer beware.

I made a purchase from this store on September 2,2006. I was told it shipped on 2 different occasions and I was also told there were quality issues. I requested a refund - a credit to my card. They said they had no way to do that they would send a check in approximately 2 weeks. That was almost 3weeks ago. When I call the mail boxes are full and there is a waiting period to talk with CS. This is a disaster. Nothing but lies. It has taught me a lesson - Check reviews BEFORE you place an order.

after an order was placed on sept.6/04 for 2 lexmark ink cartridges, i waited for 10 days and when they did not come, i sent them a e-mail and was told that they would send out another order,and i would also be charged for that one also-- yea-- good luck with that one.. on the 17th day i got my order. it had been post marked 3 days ago. what they don't want to tell you is. they sat there for 2 weeks before they got around to dropping them into the mail.. good thing they do not run the local ambulance or fire dept. sooo if your in no big rush to get your ink, this is the place to shop.. i know i will do no more shopping there..

I have placed two orders with this company. The first was Aug. 7. The order did not arrive until Aug. 28, and was the wrong cartridges. I sent them back and have not, as of Dec. 19, received the correct cartridges.

For some reason (not very smart), I made another order with the company on Sept. 13. According to an e-mail I received from the company, the cartridges were shipped on Oct. 2. I have not received those cartridges either. From reading other company reviews, it looks like it is a common problem.

I have written two letters to the company requesting cancellation of the orders and credit to our account. I have not received a reply to either letter and or a credit.

Ordered on 9/23/06, it's now 10/16/06. Sent a little over a week ago and they said it shipped on 10/4/06. Why it even took that long to ship I don't know. Still haven't gotten it though. Now they won't response. Tried calling, but of course the phone number is ONLY a message line. Funny thing is, I called it and it says "Sorry, inbox full" *click* Hung up on me. No way to contact them other than email. Requested a refund today. We'll see what happens. They have about 314 complaints against them on the better business bureau website. Will probably be calling in a fraud report to my credit card if they don't respond soon and possibly taking them to small claims court.

Purchased Ink for my Epson XP-640 and the cartridges didn't work, the printer said it did not recognize them. I contacted them and let them know the problem and they would not help me, said the 60 day time limit is up. Do not trust them, I lost $55 and they didn't care, you would think they'd want to keep a customer?

Placed my order on Sept. 1, 2004. Supposedly, they shipped my toner that day.

On Sept 27 and 29, I posted two messages to their automated help system in regard to the fact that I still hadn't gotten my toner cartridge. Here is the second one:

"Comments: You still have not contacted me regarding the Lexmark toner
cartridge. I needed it a week ago, and it is still not here. If you
could give me a UPS tracking number, I could take it up with them, but I
have heard from NO ONE. If you're so busy that you can't answer an email
within two days of receipt, then you need to hire some additional staff.
If I don't hear from you before Friday, I will contact my credit card company and contest the charge, then immediately post a negative review at resellerratings.com."

The reply, on the 29th:

XXXXXXXXXXX,
We apologize for the delay. Your order has been shipped out on September
1,2004. Their for [sic] if you have not received it we will be re- shipping
your order to you again. We usually don't have any tracking # with ups yet
we are in the process of it but for right now we usually track down our
orders with order #. If you could verify me your email address:

Of course, I had already been waiting a month, but what did it matter at this point? Anyway, no cartridge showed up, so on October 8th, I sent this:

"I need you to provide a date of shipment and a UPS tracking number for
my order. The wait is ridiculous. I needed the toner over a month ago; that's why I ordered it then. Do you realize it has been 38 days since I placed my order? That is unacceptable.

As I said, you need to provide me with a shipping date and a UPS tracking number. If you refuse, I will assume that you haven't shipped the order and that you and your company are conspiring to commit fraud. I will then pursue legal remedies for such with the assistance of my attorney.

Thank you,

The reply from them, on the 11th:


"XXXXXXX,

We'll re-ship the package for you right away. If you end up receiving two
packages, please just 'return to sender' the second one so that it will come back to us.

My reply the same day:

"I don't believe you. This is the third time you've supposedly shipped
the order in the 41 days since I placed it, and I still have no cartridge. In those 41 days, I have had to print important documents on a cartridge that barely works, resulting in papers that are almost unreadable. These documents have gone to my customers, my colleages, and my supervisors. It makes me look bad. This is what your incompetence has cost me.

Even if the package does arrive, I think I deserve some compensation for the incredible inconvenience you have caused me.

As I requested earlier, please provide a UPS tracking number so that I may confirm that the order is on its way, because I refuse to take your
word for it. If you can't do this, then I will have to cancel and take my business elsewhere.

Anyway, today is Friday, October 15th, yet another week has been added. It has now been 45 days since I ordered my cartridge,and for some reason it hasn't arrived, and no one will give me a UPS tracking number in order to confirm that it has been sent.

I ordered from these guys Oct 5th 04, just one black ink cartridge for my HP printer....because of these fools I now have to change my letters do dark blue whenever I want to print something. I have sent various emails and have still yet to get a reply...as others have posted their website says it was shipped but nothing ever was shipped. They lie about it, they say they ship the product but they never do and there is no tracking number. I just sent them another email we will see if they respond.

I placed my order on February 2 and they said it was shipped on the following day. Eleven days have gone by since they said the order was shipped and still no merchandise. This company gives the US Postal Service a bad name as the customers assumes that they are responsible for the delay. Truth is, EZinkjets never shipped the merchandise when they said they did. ANYONE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IS A FOOL. There are plenty companies out there with a superb service, no lies, and good tracking systems. Forget about EZInkjets!

Order cartridges for Epson Stylus C80 on 1/25/05 supposely shipped on 1/26/05. Stated on receipt items were "In-Stock", today is 2/12/05 and still no delivered items. I live in the next county from their office, even with using the USPS it should not take this long. I have e-mailed them and did not receive any response within their stated two day response time.

I would rate their customer service as extremely poor and would not recommend this company to anyone. I will being contacting my credit card company to start the charge back process as soon as minimum wait period is over.
