Goodyear Autocare

On 07 Feb I had new wheels and Tyres installed by Goodyear. Less than one week later on 12 Feb the rear left wheel fell off whilst I was driving home from work. I called Goodyear and they offered to assess and repair. This cost me approximately $500 for labour and a new rim. The explanation they gave was that someone had tried to tamper with my wheels, which I accepted not knowing any better.

On 17 Mar the same occurred with the front right wheel whilst my wife was driving on the highway at 110 km/hr. Thankfully she stopped and called NRMA. They found the wheel hanging on by one nut! THANKFULLY, she stopped and didn’t end up cartwheeling down the highway in a 2 tonne truck.

I called Goodyear and they offered the same excuse. They also would not move the vehicle and repair for free. I subsequently had an independent inspection conducted by Ford which found the wheel nuts over tightened and missing hub rings.

All I want is my working truck!

I dropped off my 2008 Toyota Yaris for a service to be done and picked it up 3 hours later only to notice big scratches all over the dashboard. Really you trust the business and leave your car there only to get extra damage !!!! The person who has serviced the car has done good job with service but those scratches only come from a dumb ignorant person who does not to know how to handle the car properly and for that reason good bye Goodyear auto care you won't see my car ever again.

Staff are very helpful and honest I used to deal with them for one year and I am very happy with the service, staff are very helpful, how quick I get the service I really recommend it

I recently went to Goodyear for some repairs. They were polite and helpful. The mechanic and business owner stayed behind on Saturday to finish my car for me as he knew I needed it on Sunday. Gave reasonable price and I would return there in future. Thanks :)

My Drivers side Door Latch was no LONGER WORKING CORRECTLY, as it had done, since I purchased the 2011 Holden cruze in NSW with a local roadworthy, I could verify this with my entire family seeing the newly damaged ''issue, ''IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING PICK UP FROM GOODYEAR PHILLIP WODEN CANBERRA ACT. My children's mother an RN at the local Hospital, seeing the protruding door, no longer closing as it had done every since purchase until pick up from ''GOODYEAR PHILLIP'' where it was certified ''ROADWORTHY'' AS WELL ??? odd don't you think.

It was taking my daughter out when I actually stopped and opened the door which looked like it would spring open, to find TWO SCREWS LOOSE, which I HAND TIGHTENED WATCHED ON BY MY 16 year old daughter, I had not stopped talking about this issue since picking my vehicle up.

Quite a strange state of affairs too find not one but two of the screws that hold the latch in place to work loose at the same time, \ time for a recall or ,watch out when you call in leaving you're vehicle to unscrupulous low life, who prey on the trust of their customers, fortunate not to be injured with the door of my car still under new car factory warranty, with the door nearly coming open, i just hope that is all they have loosened, , not got near brake lines or anything else, obviously they aren't affected with the issue of morality clearly they or office staff whom lie and deny have ''NONE''. yes these bolts have a habit of loosening themselves especially after being certified Roadworthy,

as mentioned by the 'gun lobby', it's not the guns that kill people, its the HUMANS WHO USE THEM. A Simple ROADWORTHY That '(was when it went in, clearly NOT SO' and, quite unsafe, possibly causing injury or death to myself or others,

(if the tampered parts sprung open, ejecting occupants or causing an accident while the, vehicle was in motion)

(if anyone wishes verification of the damaged parts my family who witnessed it immediately following my pick-up of the car, would gladly sign a stat dec, this was considered prior to finding problem, i initially thought door had been bent out of shape by mechanics their causing it too not close correctly, before discovering the entire family of screws all having been loosened deliberately while vehicle was in their possession , these are the times one wishes a lie detector was more accessible and reasonably priced, too use, they would solve matters where unscrupulous morally lacking characters feel they are untouchable and maybe even drum up some more business with a customer bringing a car back due to the effects of their tampering as i also was considering returning for fixing for a short time, till i realized something was a bit fishy and it didn't seem normal wear and tear, at all. Quite the contrary in fact.

So everyone knows what is capable of occurring their, as it has happened to me, verified as mentioned by a registered nurse, with 15 to 20 yrs service at canberra hospital, fully aware, i have been driving the vehicle around for weeks , months infact trouble free, up until and following the 30 min left at GOODYEAR AUTO PHILLIP ACT

Went to Beenleigh Goodyear tyre shop today to have a leaking tyre looked at. The manager was aggressive and bordering on being rude to me and his tyre fitter. Take your business elsewhere - I know I will be.

I was advised they could complete the service on my VW, I checked with them before and on the day of the service when dropping off the car. They completed half the service and told me to go to VW for the rest that they could not complete. They charged me stealership prices, wasted a day of my time and had the audacity to blame the apprentice.
Really shocking customer experience, the owner failed to call me back but they are happy to charge for what they want. Their attitude (Springwood) was appalling, they made it seem as though the it was my fault that they did not have the technical capacity to service a Golf! Ridiculous!
I honestly can't believe how a mechanic does a half service and gives you back your car!
They misled me, did not return my calls, and then continued to charge me. What a bunch of scam artists!
FYI - There is no zero customer service from this mob of hacks.

I highly rate John and his team with Service, Pricing, Communication and Workmanship.
I will be definitely sending my car back for any future requirements and truly recommend Goodyear Labrador to anyone that needs their car fixed.

Took a SV6 Commodore in to have a so called new engine installed what we got was an engine that didn't belong in an SV6 but a 170kw old engine that is pouring out oil. The water pump was so rusty it looks like its been sitting in the ocean. After spending 5000 to have this installed the car died and has since had 2300 spent on the engine fixing it through holden, this was even after getting paper work from labrador good year saying nothing was wrong with the engine Yes the manager or burleigh heads is also the manager of labrador. The engine is still meant to be under warranty. Holden and we beg to differ, all I can say is see you in court as we will not take this sitting down. Worst business ever.
