I ordered a 16th birthday cake for my daughter paid for it then later got a call to say they have no cakes left so I cant get my cake if that was the case why take a payment why not put unavailable until you can actually fulfill orders
really not impressed wont used this unreliable service again

I ordered some tablecloths for our son’s birthday party on a Monday, and paid £5.95 for guaranteed Thursday delivery to ensure we’d have them for the party on Saturday (Party Pieces even ask you to input the party date). They were dispatched on the Friday, a day after they were supposed to have arrived with us, and didn’t arrive until after the party had taken place. We had to go out on the morning of the party to buy alternatives. I’ve got the tablecloths in the unopened parcel they finally arrived in and have contacted Party Pieces customer services twice by email to try and arrange return/refund but haven’t received a single reply.

Ordered cake paid extra for next day delivery got a call later that day to say can’t do the cake until 2 days time and can’t do the flavour I paid for. I then had to wait 5 days for my money. Why have it available online if it’s not available.

Loved the 60th cake topper we actually had it as the table decoration it was bigger than expected. I would definitely by other party pieces in the future

I ordered my daughter's special personalised 18th Birthday Cake Vanilla Flavour on Wed 10Apr19 for Wed 17Apr19. I phoned and was reassured, that it would only go out on Mon 15Apr to be with us on Tue 16Apr, so the cake is fresh for Wed 17Apr, her actual Birthday.
The cake then arrived on Thu 11Apr already and I phoned, to say, that I am disappointed, that the cake has arrived so early, after being reassured, it will arrive just shortly before my daughter's birthday and that now her very special cake will be a week old by the time she gets it on her actual Birthday, Wed 17Apr.
I was delighted to then receive an apology for the mistake and promised another cake in good time for her Birthday! :)
The new cake arrived on Tue 16Apr in very good time for Issy's 18th Birthday on Wed 17Apr19! So I was very happy! I did notice though, that the use by date was 28Apr - earlier than the cake I had received already...I was just a little surprised...
Then on Wed 17Apr19 came the Big Moment for Issy to cut her longed for 18th Birthday Cake - and what a surprise, when she cut it and she found it was a chocolate flavour cake - she specifically asked for a Vanilla Flavour Cake, as it's her favourite and as I ordered...so she was rather disappointed...

I purchased a 21st Birthday cake, paid express delivery and the cake arrived late. Two days after the delivery date. My partner complained. As I wasn’t here fir my daughters birthday and we have been told to expect a refund. Which we are still waiting for!

Generally pleased with the items I ordered but I was very disappointed to be called late in the afternoon to say that a key item wasn’t now available. I felt pressured to make an alternative choice as the deadline for posting was imminent. I had a jungle themed party and the Wild Animals cake toppers I ordered were not available - I chose an alternative but it wasn’t really suitable so I didn’t use them for the party. I was told the warehouse had sent the wrong item and that they would do all they could to get hold of the ones I’d ordered - I would have given 5 stars if they had sent them on a priority order. I would have been happy to pay the additional cost.
The Wild Animals photo cake looked and tasted fantastic and the website was user friendly. I liked how I could edit the photo on the cake.
Packaging excellent.

I was so impressed with the party pieces that I purchased for my mothers 84th Birthday party.
Everything arrived in perfect condition and only a few days after I had placed my order.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something a little bit more special than what's available on the high street.
It was a very enjoyable experience.

Took order for my daughters book Day costume on Monday with special delivery for Wednesday on the day of delivery I received an email saying The stock didn’t arrive so why take the order in the first place my daughter was left without a costume for book day very disappointed very poor service

When I was placing my order it warned me that the photo quality might be bad as the photo was too big but I couldn't find another one I liked anywhere so I went ahead and ordered it. I was panicking slightly before it arrived but I was absolutely over the moon with how it turned out. Think I might be ordering more for the party. Thank you.

I ordered two items... one item they sent was not what I ordered so basically wasted my time and disappointed as we wanted the item for my daughter's bday party. I then had to waste time emailing them about the error, repacking the item and queuing up at the post office to send it. Apparently I will get a refund, but apart from that very minimal communication. It was as if this happens all the time and is perfectly acceptable.

After taking my payment and wasting 2 days
They called to say they do not have any vanilla to make the cake I ordered and paid for! And do I want the chocolate one instead!
They did eventually refund me but what a waste of time will never use them again

I ordered next day delivery it didnt turn up until 48 hours later by that time it was no good. When I called to complain the man who answered the phone laughed at me. Thankfully julie the customer service manager soon fixed the issue and refunded me.
