They took my worries and stresses away by dealing with creditors and they don't judge you for being in debt I don't feel ashamed now I feel I am now breathing again...... They help and there normal people not like robots

They gave me peace of mind, it is such a relief not to have to worry about money anymore...before I could see no end to my debt but now there is a clear plan in place and at last I can plan for the future. I would 100% recommend Step Change to anyone who is struggling to manage their debt.

I thought I had nowhere to go for help and could not see the the light at the end of the tunnel, but one last call for help and now STEPCHANGE is like a floodlight showing and helping the way.I can now answer my phone and sleep at night

Step change lost paperwork on more than one occasion this set us back weeks as we had to resend documents that had already been sent

StepChange have been fantastic from the day I first contacted them. They have helped us take the stress and worry off of our debt worries. Before Stepchange I didn’t know how we’d end this vicious cycle of debt and the constant arguing between me and my fiancé over money. They offered help and support when things got too much and I can’t imagine not using them now. Every time I’ve called or emailed, staff are always friendly and non judgemental. Brilliant service every time and I recommend them to everyone I think may benefit from their services.

When I first called Step Change I was nervous, embarrassed and ashamed of what had happened to me, the gentleman I spoke to was so kind and understanding I was in floods of tears but he calmed me down, I can't say enough how wonderful he was. The whole process was seamless. Thank you so much for helping me.

I initially contacted StepChange and had an hour long phone chat going through the advice, following on from filling in their online form. The guy was very understanding and explained things well. However, it later transpired he had said our cards would probably not be cancelled, yet it seems to be a default position of card companies to do so after StepChange involvement. A major piece of misinformation (unless I heard it completely wrong).Since then, I've rang several times asking about letters from creditors that contained strongly worded repercussions or help with them not writing off interest charges, etc. The advice once the initial service was setup has been vague and - often just telling us 'that's the way it will happen' and they can't do much directly from now on. Overall, a bit disappointed with the service over time, although I realise it's partly down to staffing restrictions and likely prioritising new cases. I'm still very greatful for the service.

Stepchange arranged for a payment holiday with my creditors for the next 3 months. I thought that I might have to contact the creditors myself but Stepchange did this on my behalf. The employee was very helpful!

From day one, step change have been understanding and supporting, if I ever have any concerns or worries, I know that I can speak to them and they can put my mind at ease. They really have helped me change my life.

I Joined step change in January 2020, have had a lot of issues and things haven’t been plane sailing, have been making payments since March and still my creditors are unwell I’m dealing with step change. Been very stressful tbh and still waiting for things to be sorted out.

They have done everything they said they would to help me, they keep me informed and now with there help I will be totally debt free in 4 months time and it feels amazing!!

I never once felt awkward or judged. The hardest part was admitting I needed help and picking up the phone. The rest was easy. I can’t imagine where I’d be now without their help.

I've had nothing but support and great communication from day one, pure understanding and certainly not judge I felt like I could finally breath again with there help and support and once I had spoken to my creditors and explained that I was receiving support through stepchange they too were understand and appreciative that I had realised I needed help and contacted stepchange.

An excellent service from all members of staff I dealt with from day one. They were all very polite, extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout all communications, as well as offering a very prompt solution to my financial difficulties. I can't thank them enough for helping me to work through my finances and set up my DMP.
