Not only do bank SA Charge you absolutely ludacris fees And $10 a day when your account is over drawn, There customer service is useless! My card is due to expire tomorrow, And I have not received a new one. They say there was a delay in processing And That i can access Cardless cash. Great! But what about my online payments that decline because my card is not valid? How is this my problem? Also they treat their staff like garbage! Don't bank with these incompetent thieves. Will be closing my account.

I've been a business customer of bank SA for 10 years. My business is successful and I work bloody hard with no hand outs from anyone. All I wanted was a business credit card. I made an appointment and went into the branch. They couldn't help me, said it was a " business banking" situation. They told me someone would call from their business area. After FIVE DAYS, I called them. I was discussing with Sidney what I wanted when a client came in. I called back as soon as I had finished with my client, but Sidney was busy. I left a message for him to call me back, but guess what? He never called back!! Pretty disgraceful in my opinion. Bank SA are ok for everyday personal stuff, but if you're in business, forget it. They either can't handle it or they just don't care enough to want to.

Having recently been the victim of a random act of credit card fraud, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly & comprehensively the BankSA Card Fraud Team handled the event. Although I was frustrated initially due to the level of secrecy that the Card Fraud Team need to operate under (for their own protection I later found out) the fraud was very quickly rectified. On providing feedback to BankSA on the frustrations I had experienced, I then received comprehensive follow up customer service from a local staff member who explained everything to me about how the fraud had probably occurred & the reasons why card fraud is dealt with somewhat anonymously from the banks perspective. This could have been explained better at the start of the process, but at least my feedback was addressed very professionally & more importantly the funds were refunded very quickly due to their quick action on my alerting them of the issue.

Have been with them for 10 years. Absolutely agree wot a terrible lender they are with their fees and rules... I suggest to steer clear shop around and go to another lender

Bank SA r just terrible my advice is dont bank with them.. I rang today and asked when the lowered interest rates kick in and they didnt know...Very very poor cant wait 2get rid of them

I’ve always had bad service from bank, I’ve been with them for 6 years. Never could get anything done. I changed too a different bank because they were inconsiderate and disrespectful.

We had 2 home loans with the Bank SA and I found out a year later, that the annual fee is $395. They flooded us all the “fee free” stuff and listed the annual fee once that we missed among all the FEE FREE listing . When I asked the staff about monthly fees and redraw fees, she said no to all those fees but never brought up the annual fee.
These people are con man. They don’t realise that their career future is based on trust and honesty.
I have never experienced being cheated by the bank like this.

I've been with bank SA for almost 3 months after leaving them in 2013 for taking half my pay every fortnight in bank fees! Previously was with them for 5 years.
This bank has been useful and reliable until i started noticing NON transacted money going missing. There will he no transactions, the outgoings dont add up to how much is missong etc my balances will just end up a solid 0.00
I've lost almost 300 bucks today. Nothing to show for it. Got dismissed by the bank saying i missed something. So i counted every single transaction from the original deposited amount, and what it came to at the end i should still be left with 300 bucks!!!!!!!! So angry.
I will be changing banks and actually taking these lot through the OMBUSMAN SA if my money isnt returned. It wasn't just money. It was the last of my compo

Been with the bank for twenty years.
Always behind the times. No phone pay on android for debit cards. Customer service is always slow and unhelpful.
The phone app is limited in features.

How about bring the bank into the modern age.

well, Banksa would only give you this interest rate if you remember to call them every 3 months and renew it. even then its quite low compared to some other banks. the normal interest rate is 0.15% and its pathetic. the bonus 1.48% only applies if you call them.
i mean why do we have to call them for it? it because they are counting on you to forget to call them after that time and then you can just drop you back to 0.15% without even telling you or without any notification what so ever. they want you to forget so they can rip you off. i mean its not that hard to send you an email to alert you to let you know that your 3 months are almost over. but NOPE, they ll ust sneakily drop your interest rate.
and this time i tried calling them 3 days before it was over, they refused to do it and told me that i ll have to call back once it expired. i mean WTH? they want me to wait for it to expire and only then they ll apply it for me? this is such shady business practice. i am moving my money to a different bank.

Have banked with them for about 15 years. Have received charges for worn out/stolen cards, impossible to get a statement through their online platform if you need one for a mortgage broker or similar. Went into the bank to get one in person, they couldn’t provide me with an electronic copy, then had the gall to charge me $7 to have a 30 page statement printed on wasteful paper. This is just the latest headache of a long, long list. Their phone app is average, they seem to be years behind with technology despite being part of Westpac. Save yourself a massive amount of headache and go with somebody different. You’ve lost yourself a customer for good, should have left years ago. Lift your game. Big time.

I required 60 seconds to talk to customer service operator. First 5 mins all i listened to was advertisements. After 15 mins still on hold, therefore I decided to hung up.

I moved my banking from CBA to Bank SA through a mortgage broker. Bank SA seem to have selective efficiency. Withdrawals from accounts or draw downs on loans are processed immediately or within hours. Credits to my account (e.g. my pay and other income) don't appear until the following day. Although they are effective the day they are received, they can't be accessed until the next business day. In this age of internet banking, other banks I'm with such as CBA and ING credit your account as soon as money is received and send you a notification. Surely customers should be able to access their funds on the day it is paid, otherwise we may as well go back 30 years in time and get paid in cash.
Also, Bank SA's customer service is not great. I rang to query the calculation of interest on my loan as it seemed too high and after being transferred from one person to another, I was met with an attitude along the lines of "We're right, you're wrong". Once we resolved the issue of the loan interest, the person on the phone went into sales mode and advised me to get insurance when my house is built.
On a positive note, their mobile app is OK, but is limited by the fact that income doesn't get processed until the next business day. The app sends you a notification that you've had a deposit to your account the day after. By then you've already seen it anyway so it's pointless.
Avoid them if you can. They have an old school bank mentality.

I have been with this bank for 40 years. They have simply lost the plot.. I applied for a small extension on my home load to purchase a car.. This list of mistakes that made would be too long to list here. In simple terms the head does not know what the hand is doing.. Now I have the money and they are still requesting statements and documents... I have spent endless hours on the phone and going into the branch to keep giving them the same information that was already submitted.. The process has been more like an episode from Monty Python Show... I think they are so caught up in the responsible lending laws they have forgotten how to apply common sense and to be responsible in applying a professional process... Simple advice would be go else ware….. The cheapest interest rate may not be the best option in the long run... I'm going to Re-Lend with another provider and move my accounts..

Absolutely Horrible Go with anyone other than Bank SA or anyone under the Westpac Brand customer service is horrible staff were slow as a business owner for many years I have multiple locations and decided to give them a go when I opened in Adelaide as I like to keep each location separate what a waste of time

My Bank SA representative Jasper Ooi has done a great and swift job on getting my loan approved in 2 day. Due to other reason, I didn't proceed with this loan, however, I still recommend others to use Bank SA for their great and professional service.

I have been with this bank for 28 years. The service has deteriorated and is extremely poor. They have no pride in their service. When on the phone, most times you will be put through to westpac or st George, who’s staff seem to have little to no information regarding the bank sa products and systems. Very frustrating bank to deal with.

I went in to the branch in Adelaide today and attempted to finish with the opening of a new joint account.. I did not bring my drivers licence as I was told by service sa that I no longer need it, it's somewhere lost at home.

I went in to show my ID only to be told that whilst the SA Government changed the licensing system Bank SA only accepted physical licenses...

The lady agreed it was backward and behind the times. She was nice enough...

Bank SA lost me as a customer because of this simple policy change that could have been done 12 months ago... Instead they are stuck in the dark ages...

I’ll be quick
Been with them for 46 years, I’ve seen
Opening and closing hours shorten, not suitable for working people...
Next to no flexibility with your accounts (have to keep moving money around to get little to no interest) very annoying.
Can go on, Bank SA you have lost touch with your customers and there needs.
Have found staff members always trying to remain positive, under hash management

I have used Bank Sa no annual fee card for many years. I have never had to pay any interest.There are a certain amount of limited transactions per month that are free.
A very easy to use credit card, which I have had for years.
The transaction fee when using an ATM is annoying, a bit of a rip off really.

Totally useless and hopeless to deal with in relation to credit cards In my case I was also fully approved for a reduced amount and submitted documentation required even with a full explanation of my income ... They still as fir tax returns when I retired ... send me endless notices of how we’re all done send superannuation docs Rrrrr there are none is my income of 54 K able to service a 2K interest free card YES and it’s a balance transfer to boot ... Foreign people assessing these applications and even a local contact I got was just as hopeless told me to put the application number on my submissions Der it comes with it on.
Hopeless go elsewhere where you get realistic understanding and service You can do heaps better ...
