This was my first experience with a barcode scanner. It arrived sooner then I expected, came with easy set up instructions, and was in use within an hour after arrival. Thanks for making this a great experience with your company. I will be ordering more in the future.

We purchased a license online (Enterprise Browser Device License) in October 20th 2015 but we received it almost 2 weeks later... But I have to say that that the experience ended up being more positive than initially and later we purchased other stuff with a better experience

We just recently purchased a zebra printer rewind kit from Barcode Planet and as always got great service. We have purchased software and several printers from them and the prices have always been very good and customer service even better.

I placed my first order back to Aug, 2013 and they shipped wrong programming item. After discussed with our sales, they asked us to keep these wrong programming HID cards and then shipped another one for free which I received on Sept 18. Everything is fine, and even though they made mistake but I am still glad to deal with them.

Purchased a SATO printer - 12/11/12 ordered the labels and general purpose wax ribbon required to get the printer up and running. Delivered in a timely manner, except the ribbon was not shipped along with the printer and labels. 12/18/12 I made contact with customer service immediately to ask when that would be delivered. Was promised a call back but was not received. The following day 12/19/12 I made contact again and was told that ribbon would not be shipped until the following week 12/26/12. I explained that I had ordered the ribbon at the time of the printer order and was told all items were available. I also asked if there was any way a single roll could be shipped so we could get up and running but was informed the only ribbon they had in stock was sold by the case and a case could not be opened to expedite my order. Fairly disappointed in customer service efforts and perplexed by strigent rules regarding opening a case of ribbon to complete a customer order that has been paid for.

12/26/12 Update - on 12/19/12 Barcode Planet did make contact with me after seeing this review and made an attempt to make this right. They did send me a roll of ribbon and sent it by overnight shipment. Unfortunately, this printer requires two cores to get the ribbon started and I was not provided with a starter core so was still not able to get the printer up and running. Hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks we will be able to get this printer going and everything will work out okay. But a lot of money spent to still not be working two weeks later. I did change the rating slightly since they had someone make contact with me in an effort to correct the issue. Perhaps this is just one of those situations that isn't meant to work out right away and has to be chalked up as a learning experience.

I have been in the Customer Service industry for 35 years and have been very disappointed in how businesses now define this term however,with Barcode Planet, I was very impressed. Even though I was not clear on what I wanted, the Sales person I worked with was patient and very helpful. I had to verify information which necessitated calls backs and I was given his direct number which was amazing! Due to insufficient knowledge on my part, I wound up having to return my merchandize which turned out to be a very simple, smooth process. When I re-place my order, I will not hesitate to order from Barcode Planet. This was my first time calling them and from beginning to end, I could tell they were very customer oriented, this was a great experience!

My order arrived as expected with the exception that I had to unexpectedly pay $ 22.47 C.O.D. to UPS for "Brokerage Amount" after already paying Barcode Planet $ 13.55 for freight. All of this on an order of $ 23.10 which in the end cost me $59.12. Obviously, a lesson was learned & I will never again order from an American company that does not include free shipping.

One of the three products I ordered was not in stock. I did not learn this until my 2 day shipment arrived and the item was missing. Of course it was the critical item. Contacted customer service which was good. Item arrive in about 2 weeks. Two day shipping charges were refunded.

after placing an order for a bar code reader I was called by a rep from the company wanting to know if I was sure that was the model I needed; he was concerned that I might get the wrong one. That is the kind of customer service I really appreciate. And the reader was just fine and works perfectly.

Our customer service interaction took roughly 7 days to complete. Initially, we were ill-informed about a product, and as a result had to wait an extra two weeks to be able to actually use the aforementioned product. On three separate occasions, our calls resulted in being on hold for over half an hour while the technicians attempted to resolve our issue. This was time consuming and costly in our overall work day. We spoke with three separate customer service technicians, none whom could seem to fix our issue. Our end result was having to pay over twenty five dollars for a simple power cord, which we were assured in the original conversation that we did not need. I am greatly disappointed in our transaction, and will NOT be working with BarCode Planet in the future.

I am the Director of Sales for a computer company that wanted to buy some products from Barcode Planet. Our original order comprised of three pieces of equipment. When we received the first order it was incorrect with one of the pieces being completely the wrong model. When we requested the new model they sent it 3 days later and did not include the proper cables. After another phone call we received the correct cable 3 days later and were then able to piece together all the equipment. Finally, when we received the last piece of equipment it arrived in a broken and damaged box that was taped over to hide the damage. When this piece of equipment was hooked up it was in operational. The third phone call was made requesting the right product sent the next day. The response was….. “the product you are requesting has reached its end of life period and we can not get you a new one for about 5 days.” That would make about 14 full days till we would receive the correct products. Oh, and by the way…. Barcode planet refused to pay for any immediate shipping to cover any of there mistakes.
So, after speaking to there GM (John) he had no resolution and nothing to do to help the customer. In fact, he got aggravated that we were calling and seemed upset that we were requesting to speak to the manager.
If you want Barcode Planet please make sure you have enough time to receive the right product and about double the money you want to spend on shipping

We ordered two things - a bar code scanner and a stand for it. The stand came right away, but there was no scanner. I had to call them to find out where it was, as the order information in the box didn't even list it. The customer service rep was agreeable and looked up the product and told me it was on back-order. She then updated me on when it would get sent out, and also offered a different product if I needed it sooner (I did not, and went with my original order). I would have preferred being told up front that this item was on back-order, but I was glad the problem was resolved quickly, and with only one phone call. The product itself works fine.

I purchased several items that turned out not to meet the specifications, unfortunately I was outside the 30 day window of returns when I discovered the problem. I eventually was able to get RMA's authorized after weeks of no response or follow-up on my concerns. The returned product has now been at the returns department for 3 weeks. Currently I don't have either the product or my refund. The sales and managers do not even respond or provide an update on the status. RMA7005819 and RMA7005820 are still pending at this time

We received one of the two cartridges we ordered broken during transport. There was not any packing materials in the box to prevent them from getting thrown around pretty good.
