I ordered a hopper as a Christmas present. I waited right before Christmas to inflate it only to find a hole. I called the costumer service department. I was told I had 2 days to check the product for defects. I asked where I could find this policy. She said it was under the help section of their website. This is not clearly stated anywhere else. I am very annoyed with this company and would not recommend anyone buying products from these thieves.

I ordered a child's sheep costume that was advertised as a small size 4-6. It was actually a size 4t for a toddler and would not fit my 6 year old daughter for her school play. I paid $45.89 including shipping. I called and was told they would waive the 25% restocking fee size it was a missize on Brandsonsale.com. They only credited me $26.24 as they had charged me the 25% restocking fee. I called back and they finally agreed to credit the balance. I received a credit only in the amount of $8.75 as they obviously deducted the $10.90 I originally paid for shipping. I also had to pay the $8.16 to return the child's sheep costume (total $19.06 out of my pocket). I would not purchase from brandsonsale.com based on this experience.

I purchased a child's pikachu costume from brands on sale and i received it 2 days after ordering. I was quite surprised when i received it so fast, especially since i only selected standard shipping. I needed the costume for my son's birthday present and i received it in plenty of time before his party. Thank you.

I called on 8/21/06 and ordered a family size blow up pool. We needed the pool by the next week and were hoping to get in by Wednesday since the website said in stock and will ship that day (it actually said estimated on Tuesday but I gave them an extra day). I called up and ordered and made sure we would have it in time. No problem I was told. Never heard from them. Called on 8/23/06 to inquire and was told it was back ordered, but then she looked again and said, no it was but it's in stock now and is in the q to be shipped today. Still didn't hear from them with a tracking number. Called 8/24/06 and was told it was on backorder so I cancelled the shipment. I was able to get through to a customer sercice rep every time but their website and in stock, delivery and processing times are NOT correct!! BEWARE!!!!!

I read the plentiful bad reviews on this merchant so I was very hesitant to order from them. I honestly wouldn't have ordered from them because of the reviews, but they were the only merchant that had the merchandise I needed. Truthfully, I had no problem what-so-ever with my transaction. I ordered on the 20th and received my package the 22nd. I was shocked how fast shipping was and the item was exactly as pictured. I'm very satisfied with my purchase but I didn't have to speak with customer service or return anything. I got a confirmation number and all the normal invoices. Buy at your own risk I guess but no complaints here. Thanks.

I purchased a child's costume from BOS through Amazon. They sent a robe and did not include the costume. The ad in Amazon did not state that the costume was not included, and the price was well above the cost for only the robe from other sellers. BOS used a deceptive ad.
They have a policy of keeping most of your money if you return a costume, so a refund will leave you with a loss. This is not acceptable for misrepresented merchandise. This seller made no effort to resolve the issue and lied in response to my feed back.
Beware.

I ordered three light bulbs on Wednesday, 10/19 and e:mailed them to cancel within 24 hours. UPS tracking stated it shipped on 10/24 and the packing slip showed it was packed on 10/21. I sent a second e:mail stating I was displeased that nobody returned my message on order status and then Enrique Guerrero of customer service sends a note back how can't cancel the order after it leaves the shipping department. Heck, I canceled it FOUR DAYS before it left the shipping area! I got stuck paying $16 for three light bulbs I didn't need (mainly due to high shipping costs). NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE!!!!!

I ordered a costume thru Amazon. It was too big. I followed their instructions to return it, MUST BE RECEIVED IN 5 DAYS. I paid $11 to send 2 day priority. After 5 days of not hearing confirmation that they received it, I emailed them. They had not received it yet. Panicked, I started the ball rolling with my post office. They looked into it, said it was received on the seller's end in Banning CA. Over the next 3 weeks I had numerous conversations w/ my post office, the seller's post office and the seller. I had a lost package, or so it seemed. The post office workers opened several investigations to find the issue. The seller got snappy with me, saying they had not gone thru all their returns. Remember the 5 day policy? Bullcrap. The seller's post office said that this business is notorious for not picking up their mail in a timely manner. I filed a claim w/ Amazon. Instant return. GO figure !

I needed a new pool pump for a pool I bought at Walmart and brands on sale was the only place I could find it anywhere. Because of this I called them to make sure they had it in stock and not only did they really have the pump I needed but they made suggestions about how I could make my pump last longer and save money too with an inexpensive timer. To top it off, they shipped my new pump the very next day after ordering it. I am more than pleased with them

I purchased a Halloween costume from this company, size 2T-4T. My daughter wears a size 2T (she weighs 28 pounds and is 36" tall). The costume did not fit. It was too small (sleeves and legs were too short). They do have a policy of no exchanges for Halloween costumes, however, considering that they provided misleading sizing information, I asked if they would make an exchange. They responded by telling me that they absolutely refused to "override" their policy.

Needless to say, I will never do business with these people again!

Grandma ordered a "boogieboard" for her granddaughter for Christmas from Walmart.com (thinking it was safe because it was Walmart), but it was this 3rd party seller Brands On Sale. By the time Christmas came, and the boogieboard was way too small for the kid, Walmart couldn't take it back since it was this 3rd party, and Brands On Sale REFUSED to take it back because it was a few days out of their 30 day return policy! It's the HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!! Most companies extend their return policy time during the holidays to entice people to purchase early (ie: Black Friday), but this company wouldn't budge, were totally RUDE and would NOT stand by their product. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU FOR SURE WILL NEVER NEED TO RETURN and you don't mind paying triple what you would pay at Costco, Walmart, or Target. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY. HORRIBLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

BEWARE: This is one of those Internet companies to avoid.

I returned a package in 1 day via UPS. After 3 weeks they cannot locate the package. It was signed for by "LOPEZ." Jenelle, in customer service, just informed me of their 25% restocking fee. THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS RIPOFF. Shouldn't they locate the package first? If you want to spend hours on the phone, on-hold, an unfriendly CSR, unexpected products and being ripped-off this is the place for you!

I placed my order on 9/18 and received it on 9/24. I ordered the Pinocchio youth 8-10 and it is NOT true to size, my son is in sz 7 and the 8-10 was like daisy dukes! I called to exchange, then I was told I'd have to re-order and re-pay $12 in shipping!! So I'm spending $24 to ship a costume, NO WAY!. I then asked to return it and was told they charge a 25% restocking fee to put a bag on a shelf!! I replied with "WHAT" to the customer service rep I will never order again from your site and he HUNG UP on me, I called back and got a recording!. I just finally got to call again and they are telling me it's too late to return when I called and was hung up on by their RUDE employee. Buyers beware, do not order from this site!!!

I ordered two halloween costumes, and it said that it would take about 10 days to ship to Norway. So i thought i would get them on time to halloween. I paid for it(stupid me!) and i haven't heard anything from them. I got a tracking number, but it hasn't been sent yet! I have written several e-mails to them, but all i get is a autoreplay, telling me to call. I have tried to call, i get to the waiting music, but when it seems like they are going to answer me, something happens,and i get a message that says that the call cannot connect. I have written an e-mail and explained this to them, but I still get those auto answers..!! I am sure i will never get my costumes and just have to kiss my money goodbye.

We have found that this business does not have SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that you should think twice before trusting this business with your data, such as personal information or credit card details, because your information will not be digitally connected to a cryptographic key and secure connection cannot be established. We found that the domain for this business is older than two years which could be an indication that this is a trustworthy business with an established customer base and experience in their field.
