One year ago, we bought a Lexor FL from Canadream in Calgary, and have travelled extensively in it since that time. Our experience with Canadream has far exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend! Simply first class service, and a high quality product.

Specs: Family of 4 (1 kids and 1 baby) plus a senior medium-sized dog relocating from BC to ON during COVID-19 pandemic.

Our trip was unique in terms of the season we did it: imagine having to exercise complete physical distancing, and the majority of the RV stops and parks are closed to decrease the impact of a pandemic.

Sounds like an horror movie, but it was the opposite!

Canadream Maxi RV (MHA) unit was extremely reliable, easy to maneuver (first time driving a 30'), and comfortable. The Canadream team was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and was able to address several of our requests in no time.

Distance ~4,500 km
Mileage was around 3.0-3.5 liters per 100 km
Gas tank: ~200 liters
Propane tank: 63 liters

Spent a week with my wife and two kids in very cold temperatures (-27) during a winter ski trip. The R.V. performed very well under the circumstances. We were never cold as you are usually wearing layers anyway for winter camping but the furnace kicked on and kept the temperature at a minimum of 16 degrees. At night the blankets provided and the window insulation pads were good. We drove over two passes on sketchy road conditions and as long as you take it easy on the roads and remember you are not driving an all wheel drive SUV, the R.V. handled it. The customer service I received from the booking agent, to the pick up and drop off staff was excellent. Tons of underneath storage for all our skis and our portable grill / chairs etc. Some cons would be the chem clean smell was super strong when we picked it up and lasted for the first two days of the trip. Also I think all these rigs would benefit from back up cameras. Also we did get surprised how fast the Grey/black tanks filled up. Other than that we had a blast, the R.V. kept us warm on the coldest week in January and everything worked well / how it was supposed too. Would definitely take another trip again.

I travelled from UK to Vancouver during travel restrictions and my booking, customer service and standard of motorhome was excellent and it deserve 5 plus stars. I will again use Canadream and recommend others also.

Spent 4 weeks travelling from Calgary to Halifax in a truck and camper and it was amazing. No problems with vehicle and good explanations from staff at pick up. Drop off was very quick also followed by a ride to our hotel near the airport. Nothing but praise for this company and would definitely book with them again

Twice we've purchased RV'S in Calgary 2015 & 2019 with deals worked out on the phone & e-mails as we're from Manitoba.Both times wonderful to deal with Matthew, John and crew. Also great service from Tim. Should we decide to upgrade in the future, we'll be back.

What a FANTASTIC company to deal with - this March would of been our third time booking in 4 years
We had booked a large RV for 13 weeks - the price and offers were outstanding
Two week before we left the C19 virus threw a spanner in the works at is did with a lot of travelers
All our monies had been paid for the whole trip

Short version - Rang Canadream on Monday plus sent E mail - had reply from them the next day - Thursday all money back in our account less from memory very small cancellation fee - AWESOME

All the staff we dealt with were fantastic and very helpful - our previous trips were also for a lengthy period and the service just great

We will re book for same period next year subject to the developments re the virus
If all companies showed this much empathy and service to customers it would be fantastic

Warning:

We rented a motorhome from Canadream in June 2019. Our experiences with them were positive until it turned out that we had supposedly caused a collision that we knew nothing about. Initially they could not tell us where this would have taken place. They had to figure it out. After an hour and insistence from our side it became clear where the story came from:
Someone had taken a photo of the rear of our rental camper and passed it on to Canadream with the announcement that we had hit a Fraserway motorhome when turning. There was no photo proof of any damage. Although our camper did not show any signs of damage, that photo was a reason for Canadream to charge our credit card extra for 750 dollars. Our statement that we know for certain that there was no damage and the statement that there was no evidence was not accepted.
We were divided that this amount would not be refunded if there was no claim. A period of 6 weeks was mentioned. Under the pressure of a departing aircraft, we only agreed. Incidentally, we missed that as well, which resulted in a loss of 400 dollars in extra hotel and rebooking costs.

In the meantime, it is more than half a year ago and no amount has yet been refunded. During that time we regularly asked for an explanation why this takes so long. We have never received a good answer to that. People are apparently still afraid of a claim after six months. At least: we hope that is the explanation.
That was once but never again at Canadream. You have been warned!

The service is very good, because we can only speak a little English, the company specially arranged a Chinese staff to receive us, and explained all RV operations, confirm our order details.
