This year due to the friction the literacy component of English causes within our homeschooled family I decided to look outside the box for a company that taught and not just tutored and I found Cluey.

They spend 45 minutes and they cover the entire work that most kids do in a couple of weeks at school because it's so condensed and concentrated.

After each session the tutor sends through a report which lists their homework for the week. On top of that we also get the recordings for each session which enables them to go back when they need to remember what the tutor has said to them.

So we looked at tutors and rather having to worry about someone coming into our home, we booked her into a Group Tutoring session with Cluey... DEFINITELY the best thing we've ever done! It's wonderful, the tutors are friendly and knowledgeable and our daughter looks forward to every session. As an English tutor at Cluey, I've thoroughly enjoyed enabling students to develop their English skills through deep discussions on writing, textual analysis and language conventions. I've found that every student is unique and this has allowed me to better adapt as a tutor to their specific needs during lessons. Have tutored Mathematics since September 2019, the Cluey method is very reliable for making content easy to digest and remember for learners of all levels without compromising the human element. It has been both a challenging but fulfilling journey of growth and adaptation for myself as a tutor, as every new student brings their own unique set of needs and abilties. As Cluey tutors, we strive to do our best to meet as many of those individual needs as we can to fulfil the requests of both students and parents.

Amongst the many benefits the Clueys model offers, I would have to highlight the following: the emphasis we place on timely communication (between tutor, education team and families - response times are very low usually), constant feedback and growth mindset language (tutors are trained to converse constructively with their students and make evidence-based judgements to guide sessions at the right level) and finally transparency (the post-session reporting is two-way: tutor reports keeps parents in the know about their child's progress after every session, and student feedback is recorded by Cluey's education team to ensure quality sessions are being conducted).
