Doors were delivered within the timeframe set (3 weeks). Very well packaged and good value. Our carpenter commented on the quality and the build of the doors. They have just been fitted and look fantastic so hopefully they will last a long time.

Great doors shame it took 10days for the order acknowledgement to come through

I ordered two very expensive fire glass doors which considering their weight, and price paid was very poorly packaged and as a result one of the doors arrived damaged
Very very disappointed that not enough care was given considering how much was paid for the doors

I recommend this company doors top quality same doors at wickes but these doors better quality the driver delivery chappy very polite and informative

While recognising the exceptional times at the moment I thought 14 days between ordering a door that's in stock & delivery of it was too long.

Problem 1
Ordered surfacing sliding door in September this year, but didn't need to fit it until November. When it arrived packaging looked ok so signed to say so, but didn't actually open until a week ago. On opening discovered one corner had been smashed and the opposite top edge damaged. Emailed Direct Doors who, to the credit of the customer service guy, did reply the same day. Unfortunately the response to my request for a replacement door was that I'd left it too long to report the damage and therefore there was nothing they could do. They offered a 'gesture of good will' discount off £20 of a new door. I declined and asked my fitter to repair the door an install it as is.

Problem 2
My fitter opened up all the packages to discover no installation instructions had been included with any of the items sent: door, track, pelmet, handle etc. This meant chasing up Direct Doors for this information. Again, the customer service team did respond quickly, but the fact this essential info was missing in the first place was pretty rubbish.

All of the above means I wont be purchasing anything from Direct Doors again, and certainly wont be recommending them to anyone.

Ordered 7 doors off this company, 1 was damaged by the courier it had been crushed in several places. direct doors would not offer me a refund or replacement because I had fitted a hinge. Disgusting customer service. I sent photos which showed the damaged areas but they just flat out refuse to help me. I understand you must have policies in place but this is blatantly courier damage.

1 delivery, not 4 spread over 1 week, with receiving times of 6.30am, 11.00am, 2.00pm and 7.45pm.

Delivered on the day they said they would which these days seems unusual. The driver was unfortunately delayed but took the trouble to call and give revised time of arrival and then insisted on carrying the door to where I wanted. Super service . Hope to use them again very shortly as product is first class

delivery advertised as 3-4 working days. 10 days on still no doors, no communication from the company despite chasing, finally heard back to say that courier had tried calling us and there was no answerphone, which was a lie as our ansaphone goes directly to our emails and we did not have a message or missed call delivery now scheduled for 28th Jan when it should have been 15th/16th. We have an extremely unhappy client who we carry out work for on a regular basis. needles to say we will not use this company again.

Worst thing was lack of communication

Great customer service over the phone, received a call to say delivery due between 8am and 5pm on Friday, however they didn't arrive and were not delivered! joiner was booked and waiting! I chased up on the Saturday morning and they were delivered the following week.

Single internal 6 panel door ordered 2 May 20, redirected to LPD 5 May 20 not delivered until 21 May 20. Delivered door water damaged and returned.

Very very poor service, ordered pocket door after checking that delivery would not be affected with current events.... the frame arrived a few days later but still waiting for the door.... keep being fobbed off with excuses that the manufacturer will contact me for delivery it’s now the 19/05 and still no delivery.... delays are holding up work big time... very unlikely to use this company again

Having paid for the door on 6th June, I was hoping it would have arrived by now - no such lock!! I have tried contacting them to ask about delivery date but the only response is telling me how difficult things are due to sickness. I understand people have difficulties, But the least they could do is tell me an approximate delivery day. To date (19 th June) there has been no mention of delivery!
I am hoping that Direct Doors will manage to send the door in the near future, meanwhile 1 out of 5 is a reasonable rating as far as I am concerned.

Door arrived with no instructions at all, and the ordered flush fit handles missing, meaning I had to leave the site and purchase other door handles taking me 2 extra hours.
