I went on line to pay my husbands truck registration. I went to DMV.com and the site is very well put together I thought I was paying the DMV. I was not given a receipt after what I thought was a payment made and realized by looking at this site and others it was a scam. I cancelled my credit card within 30mins and the company took $3.99 out of the account. It caused me great upset as this outfit took money out of my account without any authorization. Make sure you go to the official website to pay online www.dmv.ca.gov.

So me and my best friend my girl rach were heading down to the bar and rach was like "OmG i need a license " and so we all headed down to the DMV and they we were like SO shocked becaus ewas DMV was all "WE ARE ONLINE NOW ASTOP COMING" SO RACH downloaded this App opened this site and printed her liense ! It was sooo amazing wordds cannot describe how easyQ!!!

My family member was tricked by this site when he wanted to renew his license. This comes up early in search results and their whole "not affiliated with government" disclaimer" isn't enough to offset what looks like an official site, with official-looking links like "Renew your license" front and center. This is especially easy to confuse people with when they're using mobile phones to access the site but pretty bad on full-size computer views, too. They charge rates that are close to if not exactly the same as an actual license renewal, but you're not getting a license renewal! They still charged $3.99 "processing" when we called to say this wasn't what we thought it was. This site probably makes most of its money on "processing" fees and the rest on poor schmucks who don't realize they're not actually getting the service they're looking for. It's abhorrent that DMV.com is allowed to operate.

there was nobody working most of the counters and this is disturbing to me because of how high my taxes are the people at the dmv need to pull themselves together I don't give them my tax dollars so I can spend 3 hours in the dmv the lines are extremely long and don't move at all

This is by far the worse site I have ever been to I was unable to get my pin so I could renew my tags and even when I called the customer service number an answering machine informed me of high call volume and that my call could not be taken I recommend never using this site

I sent an email to dmv.com asking a question about registering a vehicle in Florida. I sent it because there was in invitation to ask questions for more information. They sent me back an immediate response of "go to florida" exactly as I typed it, no capital letters, no punctuation. Just this snarky, wise ass answer. Very unprofessional, and I would no recommend using this website for anything.

The extra charges for renewing vehicles online is complete ripoff of California residents! I get notice by mail to renew my 11-yr-old trailer registration for $133. If register online, it costs $167!!! The extra $34 is various e-handling fees. The price of vehicle registration in the state is already way over the top, and now they want yet more money. And, they get my money sooner and can collect interest on the money that much sooner and longer. With 40M people in the state, that is serious cash. Meanwhile, private companies (mortgage, credit cards, etc) beg me to do all my transactions online AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! Just another reason why people are so annoyed at the way they are being represented and "served" by government. If only a zero rating was possible.

I paid $30 to receive a bogus report that told me there wasn't anything list on my driving record. I wasn't looking up my driving record to see if there was anything on it or not, I was looking up my report to verify the date that a specific incident had occurred. TOTAL SCAM stay away and warn as many others as you can. *EDIT* They did refund me the money I had paid after some back and forth emails along with the proof of my driving record from dmv.us.org. I would still suggest that you use dmv.us.org. Much more reliable and price was only $1 for for my record.

If you are from other country don't go for driving test in Henderson . The women there are the most mean and not helpful people .This people there knows now to make people miserable and they definitely intimidate a lots of costumers .Stand by for driving test is hell ... You will pass the test only if they fill like it ,other than that you will go back and $11 will be charge many times .Do not lose your time specially if you are from other country ,no way to pass and you can stay there for 8 hours still not going to be call and when your number is about to be call they will inform you at 415 pm that no more stand by will be examined .Power under DMV head. Go to Sahara or Decatur location . All my family pass with no problem and definitely better costumer service.

I ordered the Study Guide, Practice Test and Cheat Sheet (most used questions on DMV test) and the Test does not work properly. There is no way to gauge whether you are doing well or failing. I tried to contact DMV.com at their "CONTACT US" link and he phone number will not be answered. 24 hrs a day, its recording will you that due to high call volume that they cannot answer your call, they further tell you to use the email address instead. Of course I am not getting a reply from them on the email either. Anyway being scammed out of approx $60. dollars is a lesson learned. Read reviews before you pay for any service on line. all the reviews I saw today were the lowest. Had I read them before I paid, I would not have used their services.

SCAM! this is not the actual DMV! this site's only function is to trick you into buying their "guides" and "info".. They also link you to other sites to take more of your money... ...BUT, you CANNOT renew your license with dmv.com!!!! they don't even tell you that you actually NEED TO GO to your STATE'S .GOV site.. don't waste your time or money with these Fkrs

I thought I was renewing my license, instead I'm charged $2.99 for a roadmap to go to the ACTUAL DMV for a renewal. They should NOT be able to register DMV.com for their domain name. TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!

First of all, I'm so sick of this place that I have lost count of how many times I have gone since I started driving! I got my license in May and they said in 3 weeks I'll get my actual license but it has been 3 months!! I have called many times, and I have been on hold for a long time and it is just so infuriating when it is urgent!! my provisional license expires next week and they just take their time when somethings are actually urgent af!!

Watchout! This is a scam. They are NOT associated with the DMV, say they are going to charge you one price then charge you for extras you never selected!! Rude customer service if you can get a person on the phone! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!

I am a U.S. citizen and I discover that I have multiple driving licences issued by the Schenectady and Clifton Park DMV to a number of people using my name and identity and assaulted and harassed for making a complaint against the perpetrators.

All of the information is outdated - nothing but a damaging website that should be taken down. They can't even get correct locations for the state DMVs. Just go to your state's DMV website and do not waste your time with this one.

Not only do they charge $25 for a report that arrives 3 hours later...you can get the same exact report immediately from the CA DMV website instantaneously for only $2! Way easier on the ACTUAL California DMV website...and waaaay cheaper. TO make matters worse, they sell your information to lists so you start getting email offers for unsolicited services. STAY AWAY FROM DMV.com

It is a SCAM with capital S! It pretend to give useful information and official site! I thought it was for replace license registration sticker, but it asked me to charge my credit card! It is not an official site! It charges me money to download a useless "ROAD GUIDE"!

They deceive you, take your payment information, charge you without even finalizing transaction and there is no contact available. when filling out the "contact us" via email they force you to fill out a survey to get more personal info from you and if you dont they dont accept your question!

DO NOT GET TRICKED INTO USING THIS SITE. I entered DMV into my search engine and this came up. Assuming I had CA DMV I went to the site and entered all my information. Boy did I get taken. I am so mad at myself for getting tricked like this. I am usually very cautious online. Fortunately I was able to get a hold of them right away and cancel. They are NOT paying your registration. You are buying some hokey manual that is supposed to help you go to dmv. I cant believe that sites like this are allowed to continue when they are clearly scamming people. Please dont use.
