Ordered the grape hoe. It is very well made. I was disappointed it came not put together and had to have my son put the handle on for me. He thought it was a good tool also and he usually does not like what I buy as far as gardening tools. He does think it is too heavy for me to use, but I have used it and it does a good job at removing grass and weeds.

My first order was lost by the mail service, called, and EasyDigging promptly sent a replacement that was delivered ASAP. Review of the Chillington fork-hoe: My back, my back! It thanks you! I have dug up my yard three times, a ton of work, I'll tell you. But this time is was soon finished, the fork-hoe dug deeper, moved more soil, with less effort, and the long handle allows one to lever the soil loose instead of using brute force. This is definitely a keeper. Glad I bought it.

This tool takes me back to my childhood where we used a wheel hoe to garden. As an older guy, it seems harder than I remember, but feels good to have something that depends on nothing other than elbow grease to put in needed self sufficiency food plots!!!

I ordered from easydigging.com because Greg emphasizes tools and techniques that are easy on the body. There are competitors that brag about how long their tools last. But Greg tells you how to make your body last. I ordered a grape hoe for chopping weeds and a grub hoe for digging. I have not had jobs to do that required me to use them much yet. They look well made and I expect them to last a long time. I followed the directions carefully. You mount the heads of the hoes differently from how you mount the heads of striking tools, but the simple way he says to do it works. I emailed Greg to ask how to dig up bushes. He told me how and what tool to buy, even though he didn't sell the tool himself and couldn't make any money on it. I plan to buy from Greg again regardless if he is the cheapest, because deserves something for sharing his knowledge.

Easy to order. Timely delivery. Half my garden is already dug and planted (still April). Easily tears up lawn to remove sod, then breaks up topsoil, just rake and plant seeds. High value product that will not break. This broadfork is the one to get.

I have to admit I have been on the search for a pair of good hoes for a while. I bought the grape hoe and the grubbing hoe. The grape hoe is excellent for weeding large areas. The grubbing hoe is great for trenching and also taking grass out of areas. Unfortunately ups delivered the package open and the file I also ordered wasn't there. I contacted Greg at Easydigging, and he resolved the issue by shipping a replacement. I am very happy with the hoes, and I plan to purchase more products from easydigging in the future.

Broke two big box store spading forks before I found this website. Super high quality tools for totally reasonable prices. Will be back next spring to add to our garden tool arsenal. Fast shipping too!!

Very happy with the grub hoe that I ordered. It's stout and well made. The extra long handle makes it easy to use and it works great for turning established beds or cutting through sod to make new ones.

Since my husband and I are self-isolating and I wanted a project, I decided to extend my perennial bed. My 4" Grub Hoe was just the thing - small enough to get into some tight corners, and tough enough to grub out stubborn growth. I've also used it in my vegetable garden to turn the soil. It's a well-made tool, shipped quickly, and overall I'm very pleased with my easydigging.com experience.

Thank you for the high quality tools. We just did a lot of tree planting. The grub hoe we got easily cut through the roots in the ground and was easier to use then a shovel in preparing the holes for the trees. The SharpShooter shovel made short order of a job of digging a trench under a shed to run plumbing pipes. Thank you again.

Called on a Sunday and received great service over the phone from Greg! Ordered the garden fork with long handle and the pointed hoe. Both tools are excellent - best I've ever owned! I'm very pleased there are companies like EasyDigging that make it so easy to obtain tools I can't find locally, halfway across the country. Thanks so much - and the best to your fine company! -Jim

This is a sturdy tool and awesome for breaking up our heavy clay soil here in the California Central Coast. It is also a good exercise for balancing--reminds me of stilts. Thanks for building a sturdy tool.

The tools are great. Well made and they will last, unlike tools from local big box store that break with real use. I am a repeat customer and have been thrilled with the quality of everything I have purchased.

Greg was great. Although the website listed the Grub Hoe as "out of stock," I emailed him and he followed through and was able send me the grub hoe quickly. Directions were easy to follow. Quality is great. I highly recommend.

I had used a grub hoe my father gave me. Someone stole it. It had a short handle like an ax. I thought I would try a long handle. I don't like the long handle. Do you have a short handle that would work? Sylvia

My grub hoe and spade are fantastic. They are great quality and have helped me remove sod with ease. I am not an experienced gardener and removing sod always seemed to make my winter dreams of landscaping die down quickly in the spring and I never got as much done as I would have liked. With these two tools I have been able to get so much done with so much less effort. I had never realized how dull the blades of big box store tools and their inferior quality had been stunting my abilities. Now I happily turn on my music and chip away at the unnecessary sod to put in veg gardens and flowers for the wildlife.

Really love the heavy duty grub hoe and tine/tiller. For those of use who like to get a work out ... ever consider a how with a close to 5lb head? Also, do you offer a heavy duty mattox? Keep up the good work!

This spring I was struggling converting my front lawn from turf to a vegetable garden. After spending two days battling with a rear tine tiller, I broke down and bought the standard model broadfork with 12" tines and couldn't believe how easy it was to use. I was digging into soil from the front lawn of a house that was built in 1961! After 60 years of compaction, I honestly couldn't believe how effortlessly it penetrated the soil. I used it for a week turning over huge rocks and heavy soil. This tool is the real deal. Thank you!

I love this thing! I bought the double wheel package with a few extra add ons and am really pleased with it so far. It is such a great tool for weeding. I can do a 60' x 60' plot in less than an hour with very little effort. The plow attachments make hilling a breeze. The cultivator tines work well and effortlessly after a rain storm. The wheel hoe has a great feel when it's used. Just love it.
