FlexJobs does a great job of giving you a database of legitimate remote job listings. However, many of them have location requirements and the filter options don't do the best job of sorting through the listings. Great resource all in all, I did find a great remote job through them!

This website is only for those looking for the absolute bottom of the barrel type jobs. If you have an education and experience , this site is NOT for you. Do not waste your time and money. They post high end jobs, however they are NOT remote. Most of the jobs on this site are NOT remote. Its not a scam, however it is "trickery" or "Misdirection". I was lured in by job postings that were not real, or were out of date. I think its horrible how they play to peoples hopes and dreams. They should be ashamed of themselves - :(

If you are aspiring freelancer outside USA, then this is NOT the platform for you. I made a mistake of joining this platform. Most of the jobs are USA based and if you are out of USA, then stay away from this platform. Still you have the compelling reason to join them, DON'T buy yearly subscription. Try them for a month first and then decide based on your success. When I asked them to cancel the yearly subscription and refund, they accepted that most of the jobs are for USA residents only and denied to refund money. Overall this platform was complete wastage of my time and money.

You pay to see the jobs but then you find they are the same jobs on other sites but they will post anything if the employer allows any sort of flexibility such as flexible hours or work from home occasionally. In other words, these are not vetted jobs that you can actually work from home. Maybe a few are but most are just jobs posted on other sites.

FlexJobs.com is a legitimate website that posts flexible/remote jobs; it is not a scam. But do not expect great customer service if you call to speak to someone or utilize their chat box. I am speaking from experience. FlexJobs is not free. Customers have to pay and I think it is outrageous to charge people for a service and then be so unhelpful when customers have questions. There are other career websites that post flexible/remote jobs that are FREE and provide outstanding customer service. FlexJobs will have to re-train their staff and say to their staff "we are charging people and therefore need to provide EXCELLENT customer service." I wish I had known about the free career websites before I paid FlexJobs money. I am so disappointed. I do not recommend FlexJobs.

Their satisfaction guarantee is only good for four refunds. After that, you're labeled a chronic caller and the guarantee is kaput. What about if you're not satisfied about the guarantee? If you complain, they will retaliate, lie and ban you despite patient and professional attempts at enduring their unprofessional and aggressive support for over a year. Clearly you can see that whoever provided the response in the BBB setting employed some very hateful language. The BBB is not the place to retaliate and ban your constituency no matter how angry you are. That is the last place to throw a temper tantrum. This clearly displays the organizations toxic and immoral culture and my values just don't, and never will align with theirs. See photo.

I've had more legit interviews and finally a job for remote work with FlexJobs help. I hit scammers for virtual positions on a variety of other sites, so I can honestly say this was the only one where the service was checked out. They provided weekly Zoom meetings and opportunities to improve your skills by taking skills tests.

I was fortunate to obtain a flexible work from home position that I could design to my needs and flexibility. I enjoyed knowing that the positions are screened and searchable based on the criteria you set for yourself. It was also great to have everything on one site without having to be online performing multiple searches.

Unlike nearly every other world class job site, they don't have a 'smart resume parser ' that reads your resume and fills in such things as work history and tech skills. I would have expected that having made me pay they would have invested in that kind of tool. So use this site only if you're ready to spend 2-3 hours more in setup than any other site. You have to manually re-enter all your data to have it searchable in their format I chatted with one of their customer service people and the bottom line from her was 'well clients search the tags you entered when you started up' They are pretty broad and way to limited for tech jobs. It's nice if they force a client to read your resume instead of searching, but my guess is few do.

I wrecked my car last year and had to find a source of income that did not involve transportation. After searching through the usual job searching sites and not coming up with much, I stumbled upon FlexJobs. I decided to try it out for a month, and I definitely have no regrets. I've found 3 jobs so far through FlexJobs! Amazing service, thank you guys so much!

DO IT. This website was something out of my dreams- endless work-from-home opportunities! I found a job in just about 1 month exactly, 100% remote. Spending money on this subscription was probably one of the best investments I've made. And then, once you find a job, you can cancel your account hassle-free. I recommend 110%

I am an introvert and I have social anxiety so working remotely works best for me. I love to be home with my animals. I have two dogs and a cat. I love to be able to walk them. Yes, the cat walks with us too! I am much more productive, responsible, and reliable working remotely. I have a much better quality of life and work / life balance. I have more time off and I make a lot more money now too!

Be careful on renewal date. They will renew your subscription even though it is not authorized. There is no way to get your credit card info off their site. Somehow they renewed it even though they didn't have updated card info (new billing address or expiration date). I was able to chat with someone who said they would refund my credit card in a few business days. Am waiting to see if that happens. They told me they supposedly send out renewal notices via e-mail 2 weeks in advance, and that my notice must've gone to spam. I did not receive any notification even though I checked my spam box.

I'm an at-home mom returning to the workforce after 12 years. I was searching for a part-time telecommute project management position. I was surprised at the volume of Flex jobs presented that matched all or most of my criteria. Within three months I had two interviews resulting in two offers.

By joining FlexJobs, I was able to find a 100% work from home position as a Marketing Manager in the US for a global tech company headquartered in Belgium. It has been a wonderful experience and the perfect match for my expertise. Without FlexJobs, there's no way I would have found this opportunity on my own. I highly recommend paying the minimal subscription cost if you are serious about finding legitimate flexible positions - many with benefits!

Somebody on this site needs to seriously look into this company. I have spent the last year...YES, I said year on flexjobs. I have applied for a few hundred jobs. Every single one I was able to contact the company posting the job at some point. And every single one said they either didn't even know they were posted flexjobs or that the job posted was weeks and even months old. The whole point to paying this site is that they are supposed to clearing or making sure the jobs were legitimate and up to date for you. Clearly they are not...or who ever should be over there should be fired. At least half of the so-called-positive reviews here appear on other sites exactly, and I do mean word for word as they do here. Which leads me to believe there is a marketing firm or PR firm that is just posting positive reviews for them to offset honest reviews like mine. You have better chance of winning the lottery than you do finding a job on their site.

Signed up, and then cancelled within a few days. Site does not provide good leads for remote work despite its claims. This company continues to charge my credit card every 2 months for a three month subscription. Leaving messages on thier voicemail does not get a return call. Emailing using the cancellation system does not get a response. This is the third attempt at cancelling. Would NOT recommend this site to anyone looking for a remote position

FINAL UPDATE: I did contact flexjobs for a refund to my subscription, which they agreed to. Just wasn't working for me. UPDATE : So, it's been a month now. I've applied for a couple positions and the employers did send me the "sorry but you didn't get the job" email. I get that because you can't win them all. What surprised me was the sheer number of applicants. One employer told me more than 1000 people applied while another relayed that over 2000 people applied - for one job. What this tells me is that flexjobs is making money while its 'customers' have very little chance of landing a job given the sheer number of applicants for each posted position. I joined a week ago. And yes, that really isn't enough time to gauge whether in the long run the site is worth it. But, initial indicators are negative. I've been contacted by one of flexjobs clients with an email made to appear as if the owner of the company was reaching out to me. When I replied, some CSR replied. Just gives the wrong impression. I've also been contacted by another client of flexjobs that pays a very low wage. So I guess if you want to work from home and earn very little money, this may be the site for you.

I specifically listed "Contract/1099" in my search criteria with "remote" work options, but flexjobs consistently listed W-2 jobs with travel required. I can find a M-th traveling W-2 job anywhere as I've got at least half a dozen recruiters calling me monthly. I didn't need to pay the fiftysomething dollar annual subscription for those listings. They are all over the place on monster.com, glassdoor, etc.
