Just returned from a 7 night golf trip to the Kaya Belek in Turkey.

We were looked after in Belek by Kingsman Golf for airport transfers, they were fantastic with drinks on arrival and luxury coaches. I would recommend anyone looking for a golf holiday to go to Belek, the hotels, courses and value are first class.

Booked a trip with this company a few months ago and I am so happy at how professional and sympathetic they were towards us since this coronavirus thing- they offered us a full refund or to rebook it for later in the year with no admin fees and we are now able to look forward to a golf holiday later in the year without losing any money! Visited Florida in November 2019 to play 3 rounds in and around Orlando & then TPC Sawgrass over a 7 day trip.. Firstly the offer we got was amazing value for money through Golf Holidays Direct!
Hotel was ideally placed for the evening with everything you needed within walking distance for food & drink (Long Horns do an unbeatable Steak!!) & having 'HAppy Hour' (2for1) in the hotel bar every night certainly helps start the evening off well.. also TopGolf Orlando 10 minute drive away is worth a trip..

The 3 Courses round Orlando were decent standard, some just needing abit of TLC in certain areas.

Hunters Creek -
Club House looks abit naff on arrival, but staff in there couldn't do enough for us.
Course was a little worn in area's but some interesting holes, could be a great track if was tidied up abit on Tee Boxes etc.
Providence Golf Club -
Club House looks very nice on arrival, again in there the staff did everything they could to help you from the moment you arrive
Course was in very good condition and was an enjoyable round. Greens seemed to be almost like an astroturf type thing but they played very well. Some very nice holes on this one and keep your eye out if near the water for gators!!
Forest Lake -
Club house doesn't look the best on arrival and is very dated in the bar area (i would describe it as an out dated English pub!(which to be honest I didn't mind))
Course was abit tired in places but still a nice round, made all the better with with the drinks buggy coming by every 5/6 holes..

We also played another round on one of our 'down days' @ Shringle Creek which is owned by Rosen hotels (we stayed in a Rosen), as we were staying in one of their hotels you get discount on green fee's. I would recommend anyone going to look at booking this quickly on arrival, very nice course.

Shringle Creek -
With being on hotel complex everything looks great on arrival staff again were great and look after you straight away on arrival
Course is in amazing condition and very good test of Golf, the greens were like lightening. If you're not a great putter don;t have a go on practice green, you'll be beaten before you start!!

Then was upto Jacksonville for TPC Sawgrass and the whole reason we traveled over there!! Is abit of a drive, make sure you give yourself plenty of time.. Traffic round Orlando was terrible...!
As you would expect everything was of the highest quality on arrival, the club house is every bit as good as it looks on TV.. Unfortunately for us it had absolutely smashed it down the night before and the Stadium Course was closed so we didn't get to play on the day. Due to flying back the next evening and Tee Times having been snapped up earlier in the day we ended up having to play the Dye's Valley Course early the following morning.
Lewis's service whilst this was going on was top notch, he was on the phone trying to help and was emailing his contacts direct to see if there was anything they or the club house staff could to to get us fitted into the Stadium Course in the morning to enable us time for travel back to the Airport etc. Sadly this wasn't possible and we booked onto the Dye's Valley.. Everyone we spoke to (locals / members) whilst in the club house actually said that they prefer the Dye's Valley Course, I wasn't buying it if I'm honest..

Dye's Valley Course -
Set up very similar to the Stadium Course this is a great track in its own right, with the rain they'd had it was questionable if we should have been on this course as well to be honest but was still in great condition. Some very nice holes, and I would certainly look to play this again given the chance.
I guess the best compliment i could give would be that if (to be fair more like when) we book to go again, I will be looking to book onto both the Stadium Course & Dye's Valley whilst there to make the most of the time there..
Make sure you take the time to eat in the Club House food in there is VERY good..

We have just rebooked our cancelled ( Covid 19) trip which we should have been on now in Vilamoura to February next year and Charlie has been excellent from start to finish. He has been thorougly professional and got us a fantastic deal which was better than all the others. Highly recommend and will certainly use again.

Once again Lewis and his team organised our annual golfing trip to Portugal for me and 15 friends.We stayed on Salgados resort and also played golf on Morgado and Alamos.Everything was spot on as usual.I would never use any other company to organise my trips.Thanks Golf Holidays Direct.

Thanks to Oliver Allingham for organising a great trip, our second to Salgados and much better than last years which was fraught with problems from the off (by another provider). From the start the whole process was easy and without issue and everything went like clockwork.

The weater for all 6 days was superb, not a cloud in sight, and the apartment at Salgados was excellent, very large and superbly appointed and gave us the opportunity to eat in or out. We received several excellent recommendations from the staff at Salgados Vila Das Lagoas regarding local eateries and were not let down.

If you have not been, the beach at Salgados is beautiful and worthy of a visit to see the sunset, which we did every night and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Salgados is a good course with excellent facilities and we also played Morgado twice, although I'd recommend a buggy as the back nine is very hilly. Morgado is the better of the two courses mentioned, but the clubhouse is not as good as Salgados.

We also by chance visited Amendoeira as we were driving by and decided as we had a spare day that we'd like to play the Faldo course. Wow, what a spectacular facility and great course that is, but, again, you need a buggy. Also, with 5 sets of tees, it can suit golfers of all levels, but the White Tees being a hair short of 7,000 yards is very challenging!

A great trip and one that will be repeated next Christmas.

If I could give 10 stars I would,I had the pleasure of dealing with Ollie who was superb,this was my first time booking abroad and it was easy as peas,nothing was too much for Ollie and was there via email or phone when I needed him,we went to salgados in Portugal and had an amazing time,playing salgados and morgado courses,both were in superb condition and the staff were brilliant,all 8 of us would highly recommend Ollie and the team and can't wait to book again,shame it was only a weekend we could have stayed all month,thanks guys it was an amazing trip from start to finish,top lads.

Lewis and the team took good care of us at Vale Do Lobo, an excellent venue with two challenging championship quality courses.
Transfers to and from airport worked seamlessly. Accommodation was clean, tidy and acceptable for a two night stay. Free resort bus shuttles residents around the resort -which is centred around Spikes bar, where staff are extremely polite and attentive. A few bars and restaurants are located nearby which add nice variety of food and drink for the stay.
Well done and thank you. We will use GHD again.

During the initial stage of starting with the guys, right through to now; during the current Covid-19 challenges, they have remained customer focused and are doing great initiatives. A company that really is looking after their customers. I for one will be returning to book again in 2021.

Thanks to Ollie at GHD for sorting our 3 night trip to Vale do Lobo. First time using GHD and very impressed with their service, especially after our original flights were cancelled meaning we had to travel a day later, tee times and accommodation were amended quickly. Vale do Lobo courses, hire clubs, resort shuttles, accomodation and resort itself were all top quality, and the price for the package unbelievable valve
