Low Cost Cars

Whilst the booking process is simple and the majority of the time it goes to plan, when it doesent , they blame you, after physically being told one on my reservations was cancelled ( what I wanted ) actually they didn't cancel, when I arrived to collect car it took 1 hr for it to arrive, and was the wrong car, both car flexi and low cast cars blamed me, they even said they did not have such a car as I was saying I had booked , when I got to hotel I found my reservation , they would put it right if I drove back to the airport ( 3 hr drive )
I have now booked my next 6 reservations with Hertz

I rented from this company once and from the sister company Top rent-a-car once. They have the sane office and sane staff. Both times the car was in good condition, the fuel tank was full, the return process was smooth and the returning agent inspected the car for serious damages only, did not look to charge me for small scratchs like what sone other car rental companies do.

I thought I would give LCC a chance and booked with them for the first time ever via a broker in early Dec for a just before Christmas hire, received a confirmation email, all paid for, I thought I was set.

The day before I was supposed to fly and pick up my car rental I was told by my broker that LCC, will not honor my confirmed booking. How wonderful, the day before my flight and car pick-up they refused the already confirmed booking.

It turns out the reason is they are an affiliate company of Top-Rent-A-Car, who have black-listed me last year because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service I got from them in June 2018 (my one star review of Top-Rent-A-Car is from the 9 Jan 2019 if anyone is interested).

Needless to say this created some headaches, but thankfully there are many other good providers in Sofia, and I had a great experience with the one I was able to book last minute.

So dear consumers, please be cautioned, customer service clearly not a top priority for the Low Cost Cars brand, then again its the same people as Top-Rent-A-Car so no surprise there I guess.

Very slow service at the airport desk.It takes me 1,5 hour waiting to get the car.The car was Vw Passat 2013 , 107000km on the clock,with a lot of dents ,scratches ,marks, cracked details on the body,missing bolts on the front bumper.The car has a lot of vibration on the steering wheel, uncomfortable,unsafe dangerous for driving on the motorway.Never again....

We discovered that the domain for this business is relitevely new, which means that it could be a start-up business that does not yet have a huge amount of customers. We found that this business has an Instagram page, where they communicate with their customers using images and videos. This is usually an indication that the business has some visual aspects that it wants to showcase.
