I very much appreciate the support I received from Macpaw team when I discovered that I had inadvertently downloaded malware. The team responded to my call for help within minutes of my contacting them, and they continued with ongoing support until the issue was resolved. (It turned out that I was not using Macpaw correctly, rather than it being a Macpaw glitch, which I had originally suspected was the case). Betty Davies

Gemini II performed poorly in attempting to remove duplicates from my Photos library. Even after purchasing a subscription, it prompted me again to purchase a subscription. It was difficult to get that second subscription removed from my App Store account. Macpaw was of no worthwhile assistance with this. Gemini then crashed after selecting a large number of duplicate photos for deletion, even though I have 32 GB RAM, loosing all the work I had put in to evaluate and select those duplicates. It requires final deletion from within Photos, which is not clearly documented. Macpaw Customer Service was generic, unable to focus on my particular problem, instead just sending unhelpful generic responses. Dislike their subscription model, as it locks in cashflow for Macpaw, without providing additional value for customers.

I had an issue over a week ago. They asked me to send them a report which I did. They said they didn't get report and were closing ticket. Wrote twice more and resent report and have not heard back?????

All fine, only product made me worried, it cleansed so extremely good that my MacBook had trouble to start up afterwards. Really frustrating, but after half hour spinning beach ball it started anyway.

A second MACbook was needed for my wife. CLEANMYMAC has proved to be a great tool for cleaning, deinstalling etc. issues. Customer service offered special upgrade for two licenses - super! If relatively high yearly subscription prices will come down with further considerable discount offers for existing customers that will be the final argument for all those MAC fans who claim you never need to service any MAC, waste of money etc...

CleanMyMac X is way ahead of the field and is indeed in a class of its own. It is clean, easy to implement, and can take care of the tasks given on a regular basis. The occasional prompt to clean etc. is an excellent move, particularly for the busy users.

Wow!! What support. turn around time on my problem was minutes over a period of 4 exchanges. They give exact instructions for settings including screen shots of what I should see when I followed their directions. I cannot say enough for their remote diagnosis capability as well as response time. I've been a customer for years and have been running this program for some time on my MacBook. Suddenly I had this problem which is the one they solved. I'm beginning to think the problem was some setting on my computer security got changed and not an issue with the program.

So far nothing they have recommended has helped much with the lock ups and glitches I am having on my Mac. Also, their latest correspondence mentioned to delete and then re-download the app, and enter the activation key. However, after downloading the app there was no field to enter an activation key so I ended up receiving a trial version which after activating the clean, requested I purchase it before it would clean up the problems. I went through the process of downloading it again and this time spent a half hour or more trying to find where to enter the activation number. After the download there was a pop-up box with a CleanMyMac icon and an arrow pointing to an applications icon. Through trial and error I found that by clicking on the CleanMyMac icon, then clicking Open, then clicking "Unlock Full Version" I got the activation key!!! It was sheer luck that I ever found my way through such a user unfriendly process in that amount of time.

I upgraded to CleanMyMac X especially because I believed to have Malware on my computer. I did which I was told by the software would removed after I ran it I was still having issues. Staff were super helpful but I ended up using another company to remove the viruses which were still there and hadn't been removed properly. MacPaw did send a script later on to remove the viruses, I'd sent them a snapshot of my computer, the script removed another virus but I think it may of missed some of the other ones identified I can't confirm or deny. Be careful using MacPaw and that you are wary about whether the virus has been removed. And MacPaw please improve the malware cleaner up so its working properly.

MP quickly responded AND resolved my dilemma of installing my 2nd seat license on my wife's MAC. Couldn't find where or how. Sent an email with appropriate doc & received a response sooner than expected. Process was easy & I executed accordingly. Pleasantly surprised...highly recommend MP....thx

My request was simple and a response was timely but not very helpful at all. A complete lack of computer knowledge was assumed by the technician who gave one silly option. Several potential solution would have been more useful. A reply by me was left unanswered so I will not consider terminating my contract

I've been using MacPaw apps for years and find the apps easy to use without problem. This time, the problem was on my end, I just needed to reboot. But I did contact Customer Support in the meantime, before the problem was resolved by the reboot. I received a quick personalized response from Customer Support. I was asked for more detail and to send a screenshot so they could investigate the cause of the problem. That was much appreciated and it is comforting to know that the Support Team is always ready to assist.

i have been using CleanMyMac for several years now and was always very satisfied with this software tool. Now i upgraded to the newest version and bought a family license for the family macs. A little issue buying via PayPal was resolved very quick and to my fullest satisfaction. The MacPaw support reacted really fast and very friendly - they did a very good job!

I asked whether the updating alerts for my software could point to which apps needed an update rather than being a generic "need to update" notification. I received a very pleasant reply that informed me that the development team was already working on just this kind of enhancement. Top marks to both the team member who responded to my query and to the development team for being alert to the need.

I had Clean My Mac 3 and when I clicked the update button, it said I could get 50% off if I updated.So I went ahead, but I was charged the full price instead of 50% off. I have notified macPaw several times with no resolution. I would not purchase from them again. Very disappointed. Virginia

I had an issue with the software not working as it should and received a comprehensive reply within minutes. After a couple of days and trying everything that was suggested, I contacted them again and it was again resolved really quickly. Very impressive service

I asked that you cancel my subscription. You did not and proved to me why having a subscription is a threat to financial security. I am very disappointed that you chose to ignore my request and bill me. It would be a sign of a company that is more interested in just getting what it can from customers

If I have to follow your set guide lines to complain about your service, I can understand why I can't get my problem solved. I purchased 2 mac clean my mac license or service or what ever I purchased. I have for 2nd year tried to get my 2nd mac hooked up with my purchased service from you. When trying to contact MacPaw I am told Paddle is my service provider, why am I asking for help from someone or company I didn't pay my money too? If MacPaw can not simply explain to me in easy to understand how to get my 2nd mac working with my annual clean my mac product, I want my service license cancelled and my money refunded. I am tired of this simple process and no results.
