Ordered 3 PSU's, 1 was backordered. Nobody told me that until i contacted live chat. But live chat cant edit orders, so they told me to contact them by email. Another week passed, none of the 3 PSU's shipped, and I've been asking for a refund since. Two weeks, still no refund.

My first order with Mike's a couple of months ago was very positive. Like I usually do, I pay with my credit card, but get stuff shipped to my work, which is a verified address with my credit card.

My second order, done exactly the same way, got all screwed up. My order confirmation email had my shipping address as my bill-to address. I don't think the credit card would like that too much! The credit card declined, and Mike's forthwith sent an email saying my order was cancelled. I tried to get it resolved with emails and a phone call, which, to Mike;s credit, showed responsiveness and initiative to resolve it. Mike's wanted me to fill out a special form with my credit card number on it authorizing them to ship to an alternate address, which I didn't think necessary since it was already registered with the credit card, and no other online retailer requires such a thing. And, frankly, I didn't think it would fix their IT bugs that I suspected were at the root of the problem. On their suggestion, tried to order again, again didn't work, and I cancelled the order.

Sorry, Mike, an online order shouldn't take this much effort!

I've been using mikes computer shop for the last 9 years and I have always been pleased with their service. They price beat many competitors and shipping is usually free, and if not then you can just pick it up in store :). They've helped me build my last 3 computers and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I have now purchased 3 times from Mikes computer shop. a 2060 Graphics card on one order a Ryzen 9 3900x and Gigabyte 570 elite motherboard with ram. No problems at all got my computer built realized i should have a little bigger PSU. I ordered it from Mikes because of price.

Ordered a laptop on a Black Friday special Nov 2016. Shipping was instant but shipping dates could not be changed. Left expensive merchandise sitting on the street without the requirement for a signature. Forgot to pack a simple invoice in the package and when requested for a legitimate invoice for our business for tax purposes it started an inconceivable run around. Dealing with Mikes online service is similar to prepaying for food at the restaurant and having the waiter throw your food at you and tell you to "get out". They are apparently great until something goes wrong then the - "get lost" attitude prevails. Terrible customer service. Will never use them again.

Ordered an i5 8600k on 2018-10-06. It is now 2018-10-15. They havent even shipped it out yet. The item was in-stock when I ordered it. I have not received any notification / email that tells me otherwise. Unprofessional. Will not be ordering from them again.

Ordered my 10TB drive, and unfortunately for me I picked "mike's computer shop" -- what a mistake! The drive took forever to get here, and they are only 30km away from where I live in Richmond, BC. Once I got the drive, I tested it on two PCs and found it did not show up in my Disk Management. I've tested it a few more times before invoking a return and sending the dead drive back to them. It would take another 2-3 weeks for them to actually issue the refund AFTER CHARGING ME 20% for what they said was a working drive... how do I know they are telling the truth especially since lying comes with a 20% pay check. The drive did not work and Mike's still owes me $100 as far as I am concerned.

1/10 - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

On line I ordered a ASUS 5450 Silent graphics card for my W7 computer.
Ordered it last Monday (8 March 20015) It arrived today (13 March 2015) Reasonably priced and shipping cost was $8.00. Paid via with PayPal without any problems. I live in PEI and their Store is in BC. Most satisfied with entire purchase process.

Bought a 3900x recently from here since this was the only place that had them in stock. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Andrew was particularly knowledgeable and was able to help with any questions I had regarding my computer build. I also did a motherboard BIOS update at this store, which ended up being much cheaper compared to Canada Computers.

Recently attended the Hamilton store looking for assistance with moving my E-mail records as I was canceling Cogeco & moving to Bell. Dave Lai spent a good 20 minutes with me & explained everything perfectly. He was a great listener and explained things in a way I could understand. I was perfectly willing to pay for his time but he insisted there was no charge.

I wish that I had read the reviews on this seller before buying a brabd new coin sorter for my shop on amazon, It stopped working after the 10 time use and they didn't not respond for it, I paid almost 200 dollars for it with sunday donations, they are selling just bad quality stuff!

Purchased 2 in 1 tablet/laptop from Best buy Marketplace, paid for it but what arrived at door was simple laptop, when I emailed Mike's Technology Corp ( Mike's computers) I was told that they don't carry the product I purchased from them online, that it was advertised in error?? Someone reaching out to me to state this BEFORE they sent me something totally different would have been a better customer service option. Something is wrong with just sending me a different product than I ordered and paid for, and then making me wait 5 days for a response to my inquiry to tell me that another 150.00$ would get me the product I want just different brand name....criminal. BUYER SHOULD BE VERY AWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

I placed an order recently and the payment went through without any issue. So I went to check the status and it showed "Payment Verification" which is fine. I waited a couple of days and then got an email that my order was cancelled because verification failed. I entered my information exactly as it appears so it should not have failed. Now they raised the prices for the items I was going to purchase and are blocking me from ordering. This is a ridiculous way to keep customers! I was referred to Mike's because I heard great things but I will not deal with them again in the future.

I ordered a printer from this company from Amazon at a great price (comparable to the sale price they had at Staples). They then cancelled my order when they realized I bought at the discounted price and now have it listed at a higher price. Poor business ethic

This is the second order I made at Mike's Computer Shop. I really enjoy their price beating services. They really fulfilled their promises to beat prices from competitors by 10% of the difference. And delivery speed to Toronto is really fast, only took 1 day and shipping is free! In the future I would definitely check their website before I shop any electronic staff.

I ordered a laptop from Mike's Computer Shop. When I went to check on the order status, it said that the customer (me) had cancelled the order the day after ordering. I did not cancel my purchase. Additionally, I was not notified that the order as cancelled. After not receiving an order, or a refund 3 weeks after my purchase, I inquired about it, and that's when I found out that the order was cancelled. Moreover, the product was no longer available (surprise surprise). No attempt was made by the company to make up for their mistake and **** service. Two thumbs down.
