We stayed in the Lynx lodge for 2 nights. Very comfortable, clean and cozy. It’s a great place for sure!

Came up for a weekend trip for my brother's bachelor part. Had an absolute blast 100% of the time we were there. Breakfast was awesome, hospitality was great, dinner was lights out, and the beers were awesome! We CRUSHED white water rafting during high water and the experience could not have been better if it weren't for our guide MATT. He made an automatically fun day incredible and unforgettable. I can't wait to bring the rest of my family up for another adventure. 100% professional through and through.

Northern Outdoors is our favorite destination for our yearly snowmobile trip to Maine. Friendly staff, great food and clean rooms. Nice easy trail access!

Sled was Great but they were an hour late to pick up on the first day and then again when we returned on the second day we had to wait for them to check us back in. But they didn't offer to extend our rental.

An incredible bachelor weekend spent in the lodge and on the trails!! We rented UTV's and a quad. The prices are reasonable however the security deposits are quite high. The trails have hazards as most do and you can slash a tire without seeing it happen. A great weekend overall. The food and staff at the lodge were top notch. The arcade, pool table were also fun. DJ on the weekend pool, hot tub, ********...just a really good experience for anyone wanting g to travel here.

This was our 5th year rafting with northern outdoors. We have a blast. Erica was our guide again this year by request. She's fun and very knowledgeable about the river and it's dangers.. We'll be back next summer. Thanks for another great rafting experience!

Northern Outdoors goes above and beyond to make a rafting weekend, a weekend to remember.
Office staff are very attentive to details and quick to update reservations.
Rafting guides are amazing-they know the river and know how to get the rafts to the best spots in the river. The lunch is always delicious.
Bartenders, kitchen staff and wait team are amazing.

Special thank you to Emily, Russell, Jim, Suzy and Mark for making our 30th anniversary trip a memorable event.

Wonderful day on the river thanks to Northern Outdoors! There was a once in a lifetime incident of lighting striking the water and all the employees did a great job handling the situation. Cannot wait to go back on a day with a hopefully slightly sunnier forecast!

I started rafting with Wayne and (then) Northern Whitewater in 1978 and come back from time to time, the last three years with my children. Other than the amenities and offerings only getting better, what remains is the hospitality, professionalism, and genuineness of the staff and guides. All at a price that allows a family to have fun and not consider the price to be a burden.
We particularly seek out Emily, as we have a history with her and she always delivers a great adventure as well as remaining a great person to be with.

I was impressed how the staff handled the crazy guy in the bar friday night. The food was good in the resturant. My one compaint is the front door in the cabin we stayed in leaked so bad that it was cold sitting at the table. I also think there should a railling on the stairs going up to the loft.

I like the Kennebec river raft as its a great mix of white white with some down time at the end to relax. We eat on the river which is nice and the food was really good. I've been on other rivers with these folks but the food back as the lodge took forever and really wasn't as good and this doesn't make sense does it?
Food aside, we went on Maine Day - fantastic deal for a family of 4. Rafting was great, not a huge release but plenty of white water for younger 1st time kids. Guides are great and seasoned.

Additional tidbit, if your guide tells you to paddle regardless of how tired you are - paddle. It positions you to enter a set of rapids correctly. We watched a raft flip in front of us that should not have flipped but folks got lazy & some beat up pretty good in the water and it was all pretty much avoidable. We had folks thrown from our raft with a seasoned guide trying to help out the folks bouncing in the water and not doing too great. The lodge is a great set up with decent food and drinks at the bar. Rooms are dated but work. I'd recommend.

We had been on this same trip before six years ago. Same weekend and everything. It was awesome! The campground, the log, the rafting all amazing! Kyle was our guide on the Dead river he was awesome too! Trip of a lifetime for sure. We will back again. The only sad part was the pics and video at the end of our trip didn’t work. They tried everything we all sat in the lodge. Technical difficulties won that battle but I was still able to order the pics, never got to see the video but still it was a great time! See again soon guys, thanks for an awesome trip!

We stayed for one night, had driven by the place several times on our many trips to the area. It ws recommended to us by our daughter. We stayed in a room over the lodge, even with the restaurant and bar downstairs it was quiet upstairs. Our room was very clean amd cozy. Had what we needed. Plenty of parking for our truck and snowmobile trailer, place was busy. We saw deer feeding right out back of the lodge. The staff was friendly and helpful for trail conditions. Price was a little high for our room. We would recommend this place snowmobile trail access right there although we trailered down to the ball field by the turn off to Moxie Falls. Beds were comfortable, pillows could be replaced. We would book again.

The rafting was fabulous, and our guide, Alec, was terrific! Lunch on the river was delicious! Everyone we met was very friendly. I'd say there could be improvement in the food at the lodge; what we had was mediocre at best. In spite of that, you're still getting 5 stars. We've been rafting on several rivers in the States and other countries, and the Kennebec was a really large time!
