Weddings abroad team have made me feel totally relaxed when organising where to get married and nothing was too much trouble
They listened to all our needs and requests and made us feel so special in creating our perfect wedding
Rachel our specialist is wonderful and I would highly recommend her and the wedding Abroads team

So I choose my colour scheme and sent out invitations, etc. I never got a catalog of options included in the package, until January 2020, I realised that the colour scheme I chose, in terms of flowers, etc, was not available at the hotel.
Then I ended up paying extra for the bouquet with the right colour of flowers, but the bouquet was included in the package price I paid. Communication with the resort was pretty bad from Perfect Weddings abroad. As the wedding was in Mexico, they should have had someone who spoke Spanish.
They given me the name of the wedding sales coordinator and email for me to contact directly in Spanish, as they couldn't communicate properly with her. I've booked the wedding in February of 2019. When I contacted the wedding coordinator in Mexico about 3 months before the wedding, she tells me that she can't start planning the wedding until she receives the deposit of $300, at the point I already paid the full amount of the cost of the package.
I had to call Perfect Weddings abroad several times, for them to sort it out with the coordinator. Once it was sorted I was able to plan the wedding with the coordinator in Mexico. She explained that anything extra like centerpieces, flowers, decorations, dj, dancefloor, were extras that I had to pay, which I was fine with. However, then she gave me a list of suppliers for me to contact and get quotes individually from each one of them. This is the way they obviously do it in the resort, which is ok, but Perfect Weddings Abroad never mentioned any of this, they sold the wedding package to me as the would have had arranged everything. At this stage I thought it was pointless to ask Perfect Weddings abroad for help, as I speak Spanish and could communicate with everyone there.
Months after booking my wedding, they realised they hadn't charged me for the Catholic Ceremony, as this had an extra cost to the wedding, when they reworked the price, it was a lot higher than it should have been, I raised my concerns, but they didn't care and still charge me for it, it was too late for me to cancel the wedding, so I paid. When I was at the resort, the day before the wedding, the wedding coordinator told me that they received more money than they should have and she has taken the remaining out of the balance I had due to pay for extras, which was nice, but Perfect Weddings abroad should have charged me the right amount of money to start with, the overcharged me about 250 pounds extra.
I also kept on getting emails from the legal team asking if I had all my legal papers sorted, knowing that my ceremony was symbolic and didn't require any legal documentation. I received no call at all before the departure date to ask me if everything was ok with the wedding, etc...
Overall, quite disappointed with the service provided, I also complained straight after arriving back in the UK and they said that they will need 28 days to investigate on what happened, 28 days have passed and I had no feedback at all. The wedding turned out beautiful, but there wasn't any help from perfect weddings abroad. It would have been best to book directly with the hotel.

When I was talking to the lady that I booked it with she said she would check in every month and stay in touch right through to my wedding day. Since I paid my deposit 4 months ago I haven’t heard a word from perfect weddings im a little disappointed as I’m really looking forward to get start planning and I haven’t even been assigned my wedding planner yet. Also I keep getting emails from them trying to sell me a wedding which is really annoying.
My wedding isn’t to next year so hopefully thing will get better.

I am writing this review now that I have had time to recover from the trauma of dealing with this company. Please be aware that I was not sent a review option and had to contact Feefo direct to be able to submit it. I shall keep this short as to record all incidents would take forever.
As soon as we booked we (including guests who enquired) received endless correspondence regarding hotel and flight prices. This was pushed and pushed until only I booked our holiday with them. After this whenever I had a query about the wedding it took several emails and telephone calls from either myself or my mother before we got answers.
This was the standard that followed the entire service which resulted in me contacting both Trading Standards and ABTA
The venue advertised under Ceremony Facilities and Venue Facilities that there was a swimming pool. This came up in conversation and they stated that the pool was not available for the wedding party. When I asked why it was listed they stated that it had to be for health and safety to warn people. I pointed out to them that it should not have been listed as a facility but should have had a note at the bottom to inform people that the pool was there but not for use. This resulted in the facilities list being changed.
The checklist for documents was completely misleading which after numerous calls and lack of knowledge from staff also had to be amended.
The company in general came across as unprofessional, lacking knowledge of their actual service and at times rude.
It was only 6 weeks before the wedding when I asked to discuss the menus that they managed to inform me that the one I had requested was no longer available. I also had to request the 2016 price increases as there had been no update from them.
When I first booked the wedding in 2015 I was given a breakdown of costs. 6 weeks before the wedding they tried to tell me that there was also a £2300 venue fee to pay on top of what I had been quoted. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that was not possible. I eventually contacted the CEO of the company after getting no where and funnily enough it was then passed to the managing director of Perfect Weddings to deal with. This resulted in Perfect Weddings having to pay the fee to the venue which they did not do until the day of the wedding.
The wedding was only actually salvaged by the wedding co-ordinator ( Lila ) in Santorini and the venue manager (Liz). Both done a fantastic job and I only wish I had dealt with Lila first from the beginning.
People use a UK based wedding planning company for reassurance and knowledge when booking a wedding abroad. We got neither from this company.
This is only some of the main issues that we had, trust me it was a continual battle and put a real damper on the run up to my wedding.
I wasn't surprised when I had to contact Feefo direct after never receiving the review request which is part of the companies contractural obligation as Feefo members.
