I've placed close to 10 orders in the past couple months and these guys always come through. The prices are rock bottom, great selection, the service/shipping is the fastest I've ever experienced, and the thing that really blew me away.... they're very friendly and professional over the phone even if theres a problem with c/c (doh!). If I need anymore equipment, parts, etc. Same Day Music is where I'll be shopping!

I placed an order for a digital piano keyboard on 6/1/08, as promised by Same Day Music, the item was shipped on 6/2/08, within one business day.

However, the item was arrived defective on 6/4. Contacted Same Day Music, and was prompted processed for exchange. The exchange unit was shipped out on 6/5 and Same Day Music also send me return label for the damaged unit. Exchange unit was delivered on 6/11 by UPS and UPS also picked up the return unit the same time. It was a smooth exchange.

Unfortunately, the exchange unit also has a small defect. I contacted Same Day Music again, and asked the possibility of getting a credit to keep the item. Returns department contacted me by email requesting pictures. I sent them pictures of the defect and was promptly offered a $75 credit to keep the item. I negotiated and was able to get $100 credit to keep the item.

Overall I am very satisfied with Same Day Music.

As advertised, product shipped the day I ordered and arrived 2 days later. They also had the best price.

I made my order with SameDayMusic.com via their internet site on a wednesday night (knowing it would not ship until thursday, but assuming it would ship on thursday because the item I requested was marked as having "guaranteed same day shipping"). I paid for overnight shipping (by Federal Express) because I wanted to receive it by Friday.

On Friday I was at home waiting for the package to arrive and it was getting a bit late, so I decided to check the order tracking feature on their web page. Their tracking page said it had shipped on thursday (as expected), and gave a FedEx tracking number. When I went to fedex to check the status of the package, I found out that the tracking number that SameDayMusic.com gave me was invalid.

So I called SameDayMusic.com and was immediately assured that the package shipped on time, and was given another tracking number, which was also invalid. The customer service rep said "the FedEx guy probably forgot to scan the packaage" and said I'd get the package on Friday, but it might not be delivered until 7pm.

The package was not delivered on Friday. On Saturday I called their customer service department and was given another tracking number, which was also invalid. After a long delay waiting for the guy to talk to his supervisor, he told me that "FedEx lost the package." I then cancelled the order.

This idea that they always ship on time, and that you'll get $50 if they do not, is a bit of a scam, in my opinion. I believe that they always claim they ship packages on time and provide a bogus tracking number. Then when the package doesn't arrive they can claim it is the shipper's fault.

I will not be ordering from them again. I have ordered many, many items off the internet and have never been treated like this...my advice is to avoid them at all costs.

UPDATE: they refunded my money within a couple of days of my last complaint after offering to ship a replacement (which I declined). They still claim that the box was lost by Federal Express, though they never did provide a valid tracking number, so I have no way of verifying it. They were friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the order, so I'm not sure what to think. But the whole process was rather troublesome, so I doubt I'll be buying anything else from them anytime soon.

I heard about Same Day Music two years ago when my technically challenged mother found the site while looking for some drum sticks for my son. I couldn't believe it when she said she got 12 pairs of drumsticks for something like $35. I was skeptical. Well, they arrived within days and my son was delighted. The 12 pairs lasted him two years. I ordered the same 12 pairs and was pleased to find the strings I wanted as well for half the price that I pay around here. Thumbs up for Same Day Music all the way!

I would give this company two thumbs up, I ordered a tuner for my husbands guitar on Saturday night and had it by Tuesday. They did EXACTLY like they said they would.

I ordered a Hercules guitar stand with free shipping on Sunday and receieved a confirmation e-mail soon after. In it was a link to an order status page that shows when your order is approved and shipped. The page told me my order shipped on Monday, but it didn't give me a tracking number. However, I received the package the next day (Tuesday). It was sent UPS ground from New Jersey to Baltimore, MD. The stand was in the manufacturer's box, which was wrapped, although a little loosely, in bubble wrap in a larger box. New as advertised, and shipped very quickly.

This is my second purchase from Same Day Music. I don't know why I even look at any other vendors site. They sell quality gear at great prices (they even beat another site's price on my last purchase). And then to top it off my order is here the next day. Same Day Music is the best.

Wow… So I ordered it from them on the last day working day of the year Dec 30 2011 and for some reason it did not ship. I think it was a FedEx problem with not picking up parcels on the last day of the year.
It was then shipped on Jan 3 2012 and so I decided to submit a claim on the $100 guarantee for same day shipping.
They sent me an email saying it was their error and would send me a check for $100 within 10-14 days. Another Wow ….
The check arrived in 5 days.
I am very impressed with the integrity of this company and will definitely use them as my primary source for all my online music purchases.

I ordered two guitars from Samedaymusic, both an Ibanez S770PB and an Ibanez RGA72TQME. I ordered them in the middle of the day, and with next-day shipping.

I'm very used to retailers that take a day or two to process an order before they can ship something out. However, in the case of SameDayMusic, they completely blew away my expectations. They processed my order within hours and got both guitars out the door the SAME day. They arrived on the morning of the following day.

I really appreciate that kind of service! I certainly didn't expect them to be able to ship my order on the same day I'd placed it, especially given that they are east coast and I'm out west.

They've earned themselves a guaranteed return customer!

I ordered an Alesis IO 14 audio interface from Same Day Music. Between the time I made the order and the time it didn't (I repeat didn't) arrive, they pulled this product off their shelves. What did arrive was a reverb pedal. The reverb pedal cost about the same as the alesis. I think they were actually hoping I would just keep it. Judging from other reviews, this appears to be common practice with this company. I don't even play the guitar!

I had to go through the slow and annoying process of calling the customer service reps, waiting for them to send the new ups sticker, and I now need to send the reverb pedal back to them.

During that time, they refuse to refund my money, even though the invoice they sent with the reverb pedal (which they have on record) is clearly not the order I made (which they also have on record). What a pain.

These guys either do not have their act together or they are complete weasels.

I received 2 of the items I orderded... one is still on back order... I guess... although the advertisement said it was new in stock... I haven't got it yet. I paid 10.00 to have a 5.00 item sent to me in 2 days.... however, I ordered it on March 27th, thinking it would be there March 29th... it came March 31st.

Order came within a few days (two parts with one coming a day before the other). They supplied a valid fedex number and I could see that they shipped the day we orderd.

I ordered 2 sets of guitar strings and a guitar tuner from Same Day Music. I was very pleased with the price and the delivery time. I will gladly shop here again when I need more musical supplies.

I buy my guitar and bass strings from Same Day Music (I hate going to guitar center and dealing with hollywood traffic for some strings and cords etc.), and on the occasion I'll order some equp. (altho for insturments I prefer to buy from a store, get to know the exact guitar you'll be playing for the rest of my life, you know ;)

Their stuff is really inexpensive, shipping is free, no tax (take that uncle sam!) what more can I ask for?

I seriously recomend them to anyone who wants a decently priced music related internet store to shop from.

As far as a package being sent out the same (or next) day, don't know. They seem to give me a tracking number that didn't work, however only takes 4 days to get a package, so it seems its a quick procedure.

My order arrived in only 3 days!! As usual, Same Day Music's quality, service, and prices can't be surpassed. Why go anywhere else? Quality, price, and service are things that seem to be disappearing in today's market. Not so with Same Day Music. I'll be back...and you can count on it!
