I purchase a serious reader table lamp, and received a small self charge lamp free. Both lamps are excellent quality, and great for reading, and close up work. . I no longer experience eye strain. The packaging was also excellent. Good quality product, and service.

The web site was easy to negotiate so ordering presented no difficulties.The lamp came very quickly, within three days of ordering, and was extremely well packaged.

The order process online was very straightforward and although delivery was delayed by about 10 days I had a 'phone call from Serious Readers to explain the reason for this and to inform me of the new expected delivery date.

I like the fact that the lights produced are British made and made well. They are in demand hense the delivery time of 3 weeks, but worth of in the end , thankyou.

I had to wait a few weeks for the product otherwise I would rate 5* as the quality is excellent, the packaging was very good and instructions are straightforward. I would definitely recommend.

I have had my Alex light for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy with it. I ordered the Alex lightweight model in a white finish. I also ordered a twin pack of spare bulbs so that should keep me going for years! It has given me a sense of confidence that I will be able to enjoy my books comfortably for years to come.
The customer service is superb. I spoke to a lady on the phone when I placed my order and she was very reassuring. It came beautifully packaged. The boxes are numbered so you open them in the right order and just switch on! You can move it about but it is also reassuringly sturdy despite being lightweight and streamlined in appearance so no chance the cats will topple it over!

I got first class service and a great product. The communication throughout was superb, I was kept informed at every stage. The product is excellent, it does what it says on the packet i.e. the light is flexible and I'm able to read as if daylight (or better!).

Took quite a while to arrive (about 3 weeks) but the lamps are excellent and am well satisfied and can at last see to do fine embroidery!!!

Should be 5 stars due to first class product, delivery as advised and arrived in good order plus easy to set up - but - I telephones to say that I did not receive the diffuser lens and was told one would be in the post, over a week later not arrived worth 1 star short. As i happens I later fould the Lens in a pack which I thought was a small booklet.

Great service from Serious Readers, let down by APC delivery who never emailed on delivery day and turned up a day late after we waited all day.

When I ordered the light I selected a delivery date about two weeks ahead and this happened on schedule. The package arrived undamaged and is of a unique design which incorporates unpacking instructions - clever and efficient.
The lights work very well and are great for reading.

Fantastic my mother in law is now able to read she lost her husband this week he was the one whom sorted everything out she was. Or able to read properly and the lamp has made such a difference

I got very good service from the advisor whom I contacted: he was friendly, informative & proactive.
The replacement bulb unit is so welcome: I've been able to set aside my magnifying glass & revert to just reading specs..
My mother is delighted with her Alex lamp, and the quality of the finish is much admired.
