However, I cannot give Ace&Tate a good review in the slightest because you have messed up with my eyes health one too many times. I think it's really superficial and dishonest of the company to provide such bad quality products and non-existent specialists! On top of that, when someone comes into your shop complaining about having a pair of glasses that don't allow you to see, at least I'd expect extra care when you re-make the glasses for the fourth time!
My lenses were fitted wrong twice and were in the wrong prescription another two times! Not once I was told "sorry that was the guy that fits the glasses' fault", instead I was always told that I just needed my eyes to adjust. Well, after 4 months my eyes haven't adjusted and I believe Ace&Tate should simply train their staff better and invest in some real opticians serving customers and better quality lenses!
Won't go for a cheap pair of glasses&lenses ever again! You get what you pay for!

I emailed customer service to enquire about being reimbursed so I could reglaze the lenses elsewhere. I was offered the option of a refund if I sent the glasses back or £10 credit on my account. I opted to return them. Having, had an eye test elsewhere, I've learnt that my prescription was wrong and my astigmatism was still present.
Nice frames but inaccurate eye tests, poor quality lenses and not the best customer service. Thinking of trying them? Don't.

I’ve seen multiple customers in front of me pay by card from the more happy assistant and yet my more moody/I can’t be bothered to deal with you assistant just couldn’t get the card to work. I have missed a family dinner despite asking them to wait. I paid £20 extra for same day service which I did not get due to no fault of my own. The only thing the moody sales assistant can say to me coldly was: “I would give you these glasses butt they’re over £100 so I cant”. Seriously, what kinda of ridiculous answer is that. Multiple times this evening she has encouraged me to come back tomorrow whilst I watched the happier sales assistant put transactions through. Excuse my language but I am beyond p***** off and the lack of knowledge of staff in handling this type of situations is ridiculous. So here I am, taking a near empty train home because of the delay- I’ve missed dinner with my family, I left early for work for no reason, £20 extra has been added to my bill for same day glasses that has not materialised all because the 5 iPads and multiple card would not work for just me but it did for everyone else served by the food shop assistant. I know it’s late and your staff would like to go home but the way the service ended and I was just asked to leave was just rude and ridiculous.
I came to ace and Tate because of the good customer reviews online but I cannot say I will come back again, I don’t even know whether I’d bother going back tomorrow to pick up the glasses because I don’t want to see the same shop assistant again.
Please do something.
