I am a newbie teacher with Amazing Talker for a week now and I did not even had one chance to teach a single student. Their student matching is the dumbest method in getting an opportunity to teach a student. I guess their oldies has always the chance to steal the students. Don't waste your time to go through the process of teaching with the Amazing Talker...it's a F WASTE OF TIME.

Your just one of a million fish chasing chum that AT throws into the sea! The Amazing Talker system is; you receive a notice that a student is up for grabs and you need to respond within 3 minutes to even be noticed! And even when you get there in time or before, there's no guarantee. When the student gets eaten by someone else, AT flashes a small banner that says sorry too slow, ending with a condencending Emoji smile. A bit insulting and face rubbing , no?. After reading all the post here discussing the fees associated with this BS company, I've decided to delete my account and not be a trained fish anymore.

So I have been teaching on Amazing Talker for around 4 months but it started very slow at first and then only last month I started to get busy and can you believe it they took around half of my earnings. They didn't just take a percentage for using their website but they also took tax and transfer cost too so if anyone if interested in learning English through me instead I am 'the english coyote' you should be able to find me on google. On the other hand, to pay for cheap classes like I did with Spanish is ok.

Do I really believe that IELTS newbies actually pay $35 to $50 USD for one(!) 50-minute online class (as much as THREE times the price for a British Council offline class)?

NO, I do no NOT.

Why not?

Because there's a clique of back-slappers on this platform with direct access to OR indirect influence upon admin privileges; and it serves itself the cream of the new student crops.

The clique "admin-privilege"s (sabotages) other tutors with bogus system errors (and sits on requests for support) AND/OR hits them with crippling profile ratings and bogus new student alerts.

I've been working for AmazingTalker for a few months now.

AmazingTalker is a reliable, professional platform and I've never had any problems with it. I like how you can have a mentor who can support you and help you grow and gain students.

PROS:
- You can choose your own schedule
- You can choose your own price
- Students are very friendly
- Support from other teachers

CONS:
- You have to prepare your lessons

I have used amazing talker for three months already. I can tell you that most teachers are not qualified. There’s one teacher who claimed his ielts score is 8.7. That’s the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Don’t buy any lesson there. Trust me. It’s not worth it.

I joined AT a couple months ago and appreciated the opportunity to connect with students (mainly Taiwanese) and help them with English. I was satisfied with this platform until YESTERDAY I received an email from AT saying they have increased commission fees from 0-15% to 0-30%. This happened WITHOUT any prior notice and directly affected my income. All the lessons I have sold are before this policy came out. I signed up to join this platform under the premise that AT take 15% at most. Now they ARBITRARILY increased what they can take from me. HOW CAN I TRUST THIS COMPANY ANYMORE? New teachers, don't sign up to join this platform. Who knows maybe sooner or later they will decide to take 35% or 40% from you. A COMPANY WITH NO BASIC SENSE OF RESPECT. TOTALLY TERRIBLE. I AM QUITTING.
