Amicus Invest

Amicus Invest has not returned my investment which reached maturity and was due to be returned to me on November 5th 2019. Communication from them has been terrible with no updates provided and most of my emails ignored by them.


UPDATE: Amicus, that is not true. It also looks to have been written by a robot as it seems like a stock answer you are copying and pasting and providing to negative reviews. My last two emails to you have been ignored. When you have replied to one of my emails in the past you give a date that my Investment will be returned, but these dates pass and the Investment still has not been returned. I find it concerning that you reply to my public message here, yet you do not reply to my private emails. You have now either ignored me or strung me along with dates that you will transfer my money for over five months. These dates come and go with no follow up to explain why the money was not returned. You have not been proactive in your emails at all. Clear and transparent and honest communication would have helped immensely. I am happy to share my email history here if that would help jog your memory.

Do not invest with Amicus they are not paying out your interest payment I have been waiting for my payment since December 30 th they have given me 3 dates for my payment which have come and gone ,nobody replys to your texts and emails and you cannot get to speak to anyone there is just a answer phone but they don't answer your messages M Robson
Edit they do sometimes reply to your texts only after you send app 10 texts but still do not contact you to update on late payments or when you will eventually received your money

I invested with Amicus in a two-year 'savings bond' that matured last January 2018. Although I eventually received the amount due, it took weeks of constant emailing and phone calls before I finally received the matured funds. Customers services simply said they were unaware of why there was a delay and there was nothing they could do. Each day, for weeks, I was told I would get the money by the following day. It never arrived. I would call, I would write again and get the same promise. But never an explanation as to why the funds were not being released. I only received the money once I wrote a review on here. It is a shame because the return they offer is unbeatable and I would love to re-invest. I am happy to ammend this review as the funds were received. However I feel I would need much reassuring before considering doing that again.

I had heard of Amicus Invest almost 3 years ago and only at the beginning of the years was I able to make my first invesment. I am very happy even though there was some small delay in 2019 due to joint problems but in the end I got the money. It is to be trusted, excellent company.

I opened an account with Amicus invest for a single investment period of 12 months believing 12 months meant 12 months. Amicus does not work like that and reinvested my money without a word to me.

Do not expect an email near the end of your investment period advising you your options. Do not expect an email from Amicus Invest advising you they have reinvested your money. In both cases you won’t hear a whisper from them!

Amicus invest advised me my account matured on the 10th August, my paperwork from them stated the 13th August. Be very careful with this one if they are demanding a month’s written notice that you want your money!

Finally, do not expect the courtesy of a response if you send them an email asking them to ensure they do not reinvest your money again next year.

I strongly urge anyone considering investing with Amicus Invest to be very careful. You will find other options out there!!

I Have already very bad experience with Amicus as i have already seven months to receive any transfer from them and over than two months to receive any reply to my message.

I wanted to post an update on my problems with amicusinvest again

I still have not received the 5722 pounds that im owed by amicusinvest even though i was told that my money woukd be in my bank by the 2 nd march.

This was the 3rd time they give me a new date but still no money.

So basically they just lie to there customers and have no intention of paying the money it would seem.

Its almost impossible to get in touch with them as they have disabled there online chat option and the phone number is never contactable so only option is e mail which
9times out of ten they dont reply.

So i maintain my opinion that its not safe to
Invest with amicusinvest under any circumstances.

Another update on amicusinvest.i still have not received my 5700 pounds from my 2 year single investment which matured 6 weeks ago.

I did receive a few e mails stating that my payment would be delayed for the third time til 2 nd march .

However im very sceptical and dont really expect to get this money as think they are just playing me along so my reviews are not so bad .

However i will wait till after 2 nd and update this review but my message is still stay clear of amicusinvest if you dont want to be in same situation as myself and chasing money .

Hi there im updating my review on amicus to should you invest your money with amicus invest.

I should have received my payment from my 2 year single investment on 22 nd of January but no money came ,so after 5 emails later i finally got a reply to state i would receive my money on the 19 th February-which is today .

However no money has been paid and they are not replying to my e mails and you cannot contact them by phone as goes to answer machine .

This company in my mind now are scamsters and fraudsters and i urge people not to invest with amicusinvest under any circumstances .

I finally got contacted by amicusinvest after i sent 4 emails without reply .
In the e mail they have said sorry for the delay in my payment and have stated that i will receive my 5722 pounds on the 19 Feb which is approx 4 weeks after my investment matured.

There was no reason as to why it was delayed.

So i will wait until the above date and see if my money is paid and then update this again in relation to what happens

Hi im updating my review from a few weeks ago that i posted here regarding amicusinvest

Since my last review i have been waiting for a payment from my 24 month investment of 5720 pounds that matured on 22 nd of January

So far i have not received any of this money from amicus which is very concerning especially since i have two further investments with amicusinvest .

I was told the money would be sent out approx 5 days after maturity date by e mail but since then i have hardly heard from amicus regarding this payment even though i have sent 4 e mails to there customer service .all i have received is one mail from jack telling me customer service does not deal with payments and that he will inform payments about my money .

Until i receive this money i would not recommend amicus as a trustworthy invest however if my dealing change or if i get an explanation as to where and when my money will be paid then im happy to update this review .

I will wait another week or two and if i have not received my money i will be taking further action to recover my money as well as posting more reviews on here.
