While browsing the web searching for a specific lens in the Dallas Metroplex, I discovered Aperturent. After reading reviewed and exploring their webpage, and there is nothing complicated about it, I found the desired lens. The ordering process is easy. Because I live close enough, I chose to drive to pick up my equipment. It was ready and I was out of there in about 4 minutes. I'm sure there are periods of time there are multiple customers. Communication is superb and fast. All questions were answered through email and quickly. The equipment I rented was in excellent condition. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this rental transaction and am happy to say that I'll be returning in near future.

How do I put my love for Aperturent.com into words? Incredible service, awesome support, and a perfect array of rentable equipment in top-notch condition. Now, to be fair, I'd never rented from any other site before, however, I'll never rent from anywhere else. I may not have the biggest array of gear in my own arsenal, but with Aperturent.com, I can get whatever I need at pretty much the drop of a dime. Bonus for Metro Atlanta residents: you can pick up and drop off your order in their office, saving time and money!

Ok so..I Was looking to start a business relationship with a professional camera equipment rental Agency but nothing is professional about Aperturent. They are your typical equipment rental agency. They pick and choose who they want to rent & looks as if they won't rent to my kind. I have a huge wedding coming up this following Saturday. Which is my first & one of my biggest weddings thus far!!! I own a Nikon D850 & needed a second camera for the job so i decided to go with the D5 to rent. So I browsed through there website & ordered the items I know would create great production for my gig. NOTHING AT CHECK OUT SAYS "You will require full retail deposit for each item selected". It only says a deposit is required when you order high end equipment. These words "A certificate of insurance or a deposit will need to be provided in order to rent this item." will be right next to the item if it was required. In this case the equipment I requested didn't require neither deposit or insurance EVEN THOUGH I HAVE INSURANCE !!!! I even emailed them my updated insurance as proof of address when it didn't require insurance lol!! I DID EVERYTHING THEY ASKED ME TO VERIFY i sent them a picture of my license, the debit card i used to place the order, & proof of address. I even sent them a picture of me holding my license lbs!! I requested for the items to be mailed by April 20 Friday with next day shipping. It was confirmed via email of the shipping but once I logged into my ONLINE ACCOUNT the scheduled shipping was April 30th Monday. So even if they did decide to rent to me I STILL would have been assed out & they would have shipped the equipment a week later. That is ridiculous !!!!!!! MY MAIN POINT ABOUT THIS REVIEW IS THESE CAMERA EQUIPMENT AGENCIES ARE SO QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT ONCE YOU PLACE THE ORDER!!! THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK BECAUSE OF THERE SELFISH MISLEADING/LYING WEBSITES THAT DON'T BE SPECIFIC ABOUT ORDERS!!! MY MONEY DIDN'T HAVE "SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION"! MY BANK WASN'T LIKE HOLD ON Aperturent LET ME VERIFY THIS TRANSACTION. It was available for you guys to take and guess what you guys took it and now i'm broke because until my money returns. Now i'm out of a big GIG & have to wait up to 5 days for my money to return to my account. SUGGESTION TO YOUR COMPANY.... You guys should wait until your done "verifying" to take the money from your customers. AGAIN..... All orders should be verified before Aperturent is allowed to take from peoples bank account. You guys got is ass backwards and it is very inconvenient for the ones you take money from but don't let rent & make them have to wait up until 5 days. If I still had my money in my account i could have simply went with another company!!! In the comments are pics of my order and how they messed up shipping days also my documents to verify everything they asked which should have been no problem for them to rent to me at the end of all this all i got was a "You need 12k for a deposit Can You Put That Down Today" & a "click" hung up right in my face after I said "No Thank You".

I couldn't be happier with this rental company. They have an amazing selection of camera gear and customer service it's top-notch. I've been using them for my camera gear needs for over 3 years and they never disappoint! Recommended 100%

I was not notified before they took my money and my sensitive personal account data that I would need 1200 dollars to rent a lens. I even spoke to a rep an hour beforehand. When I called back to inquire the associate was not helpful or compassion. He acted like he could careless about my business. This company is a scam that has too much "fine print" hidden somewhere that you can't find. I'm very pleased and will never do business with them again

I have been a photographer for eight years and Aperturent is the best kept secret in the business.

I had to sell all me lenses last year when business got very slow. Now that business has picked-up again I am in the process of re-aquiring my equipment and I was referred to Aperturent by another professional photographer.

I was able to get right back into the game because I was able to rent my high end lenses instead of forking out $4,000 to get the lenses I require for high quality work. I was also able to purchase two great canon bodies because I had extra money available since I could rent my lenses from Aperturent!

Aperturent will remain a part of my business plan because they are affordable, professional and very convenient. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL.

I have rented from you guys a number of times before (in both the Atlanta and Dallas offices) and have NEVER had an issue. The other guys gave me a run around regarding my verification process and you guys were able to wrap it up quickly and get me to my shoot on time. This morning I chatted online with 'Olivia' who was able to help me with an insured rental question and show me new features on the website that I wasn't aware of. Bottom line, you guys are awesome, well stocked and I appreciate what you do. Thank you!

I am currently renting from Aperturent for the second time, and both experiences couldn't have been better! Since I'm new to the field Oscar patiently answered all our questions and recommended what equipment would work best. All equipment I've rented from them is in like-new condition. Their prices are lower than the competitors and they don't ask for ridiculous security deposits or place a hold on your card for the full value of the equipment. They even offer referral discounts - which is nice since I tell all my friends to rent from them anyways! Local people can pick up at 2 locations - which is nice. Overall GREAT customer service and amazing value!

I tried Aperturent for the first time last week. Their products were first rate. The customer service was outstanding and stress-less. I took some of the best photos I have ever taken thanks to their rental service. I now have an Aperturent line in my monthly budget. I highly recommend their service, products, and their prices.

I recently rented 3 lenses from Apeturent and the whole experience was great! I did a local pickup so I can't speak to the shipping process, but the pick up and drop off were both quick and easy.

I rented a canon 17-55mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II, and a 300mm f/4 and all of them were in perfect condition.

I'd highly recommend them.

I live in Atlanta and I used another local company to rent gear from for years. But they require a big deposit, they have high rates and offer no insurance. This was all I knew, until a friend told me about Aperturent.com. They were GREAT! No deposit. Great rates and they offer insurance. Oh did I mention they will ship it to you. I will never use the other company again. Aperturent.com has all the gear I could ever want/need. Website was well-organized and easy to navigate. Has good product images with good descriptions. And the ordering process was simple and easy.

I have rented from Aperturent several times and always pick up in the Dallas office. They are great! They have a wide variety of lens to choose from and my lens is always ready to be picked up. I am in and out of their office within 5 minutes! Renting a lens is a great way to try out a lens you are considering buying, or using a lens you can't afford to buy. I have never had a bad experience and their customer service on a scale from 1-10 is a 100! I love this company and will continue to use them. Glad I found them!

This was my first time renting equipment, but I did some research and found that Aperturent.com did not require a deposit. Their rental fees were also the most reasonable around town. I called to ask several questions, and I was answered very professionally and patiently. Although I have to drive 45 minutes to pick-up and drop-off the rentals, it was well worth the drive. The equipment was in great shape and ready to go when I arrived for pick-up. Thanks for helping my photo shoots go as smoothly as they did.

Have been using this place since 2013 off and on mainly because it was recommended to me while taking a digital photography certifications course after 40 years of "playing" with cameras and my instructor highly suggested this place to test out equipment first or to rent equipment that you might only use once in awhile and could not afford to purchase them. It has worked out great especially since they have a local pickup site in Atlanta and I don't have to mess with shipping. The main telephoto lens I rent has always been in perfect condition and is a dream to use, one day I will bite the bullet and buy one but in the mean time, rental is the way to go.
