In my 60's, doing volunteer work 2 days, and received two phone calls to mobile no messages by APM...They then sent Friday pm message advising of my next 12 monthly meeting Monday October 28th 3pm Rockdale...

Go to Rockdale Office I had been a number of times before, and new company occupying their space...A woman receptionist says they haven't been there for maybe 12 months-no updated address given in sms to my mobile- The woman says their address is still on wall, a piece of paper hanging precariously from wall...I mentally note it, go to car, and put it in Navman several times without glasses; and arrive new address...

I walk in introduce myself, said I went to their old Rockdale Address, a guy laughs, and while waiting see a 3.20pm sms from APM saying because I haven't attended my interview, payment has been suspended; and to contact them! I find out later that at 3.06pm, 6 minutes after 3pm interview time; APM Employment Services suspended my Newstart Benefit...However, first, if I was provided with new address in sms appointment to my mobile this would never have happened!

My new Consultant confirms this has happened, she phones a guy and says I am here; he tells her what to do! I am asked to fill out a Volunteer Confirmation Form Again, and say I haven't got glasses, so can I take it home and I am seeing Volunteer Coordinator for Training and meeting this Friday November 1st, will give her the form then, and she may or may not be able to do it that day; so how about I give it to Centrelink when she completes it between this Friday to Friday week...

My Consultant and her Manager sitting next to her say: "That's not good enough! There is a real urgency for the form (a KPI Urgency being 28/10/2019 today)."
And they want to get me off Newstart because they get paid huge money for doing that by the Government, and the Management Team, Consultants get bonuses! If they suspend, cancel a benefit, send follow up sms and have more appointments with a client that is all extra monies they can claim from the Taxpayer through the Federal Government...

I ask them to provide answers to the form for me, and both my Consultant and her Manager cannot answer questions or provide information off their own system (how on earth can I answer the dates question?).

They want me to then simply sign the form, leaving questions unanswered, that I cannot read, agreeing to whatever they write, when it is my responsibility to fill it out, and they insist wanting to email it through to the Volunteer Coordinator today, with many important questions blank, simply so they can get a quick end of month KPI reply!

I ask the Consultant as I am trying to fill out, what about the suspension you have just said you have placed today and your sms at 3.20pm to my mobile says...She at first says, I can fix that now why you are filling the form out...

Then with some questions by me unanswered, my Consultant and her Manager also unable to answer them, and they are looking very embarrassed by now, so I say: " Look I haven't got my glasses, let me take this home and fill it out, and give it to my Volunteer Coordinator Friday; and it will be up to her when she fills her part out as the employer."

My Consultant becomes very unhappy, so distracted by her inability to do her job and her Manager also, she prints out the wrong an old Job Plan Agreement, and the mood changes...Then as I collect the form and stand, she threatens me: "If you don't fill out that form now, I will not lift the suspension!" Threatening, demeaning, controlling, spit the dummy behaviour!

I turn as I stand and I say: "Are you threatening me? Are you threatening one of the most vulnerable members of the Community?" She smiles, and after I say how she is threatening me, and lacks humanity, I turn and leave!

Disgraceful Conduct Beyond Measure...Zero Stars!

October 29th 2019 Update: APM Commits Crimes Against Humanity...

I am a long term unemployed Senior, who has spent my entire Adult Life Helping Others, in Churches, Hospitals and Community Services...After getting my own Volunteer Work, Centrelink advised I would never have to deal with APM again; and I was so glad because they were Atrocious!

Yesterday, out of the blue, while on my way to their Rockdale Offices for a 3pm appointment, they suspended my Newstart 3.06pm, 6 minutes after appointment time, and 3.20pm by sms...I went to their Rockdale offices, but found they were no longer there but had shifted...The sms advising of the APM appointment simply said APM Rockdale; and did not advise of they had a new address and not having been there for 12 months I didn't know they had shifted...

They don't seem to know nor care about the implications of this; which I tend to think their Founder might be horrified! First, that will mean I have no monies coming in for food, rent, 6 medications, no cheaper medicines, travel, petrol, pay bills and household running expenses! They Don't Care!

Second, not having this money, will mean, the lifelong medical conditions and not having this money, no pharmacy discount, will for me be life threatening! They Don't Care!
For profit gives them their daily, weekly and monthly KPI Orgasms!

Third, the Culture of APM, is lacking in Humanity...And if how they treated me yesterday, Monday, I have had time overnight to read other reviews of APM Employment Services performances across Sydney, further afield across Australia, and specifically the Rockdale Office, and a horrendously common theme exists.

They are Committing Crimes Against Humanity on a daily basis at Rockdale and across Australia...A cursory look at other reviews confirms this and the Australian Federal Government, Governments in 55 other Countries they operate Internationally, should withdraw their Funding, which is $Billions of Dollars in Australian Funding alone in a multi-$Billion Dollar Market...

And the Founder APM, should be Deeply Concerned and Troubled; but she will not be...For their lack of Humanity and Compassion to the Hundreds of thousands they deal with; these are the signs of Sociopaths!

APM Northam make appointments and demand welfare recipients see them, despite an exemption in place until April 27, and do so in spite of peoples RIGHT to choose their "employment" agency.

APM Northam use Intimidation and humiliation tactics; if you stand your ground, when they don't get their own way, they send threatening letters. These rogue "employment" agencies are the scourge of this country, they need to be stopped.

I found my service provider actually lazy and I found myself correcting continually her mistakes, not good. I was a client NOT on a review for parole as this is how I felt with the attitude and remarks made.

For over a year I have had emotion issues presented docs certificate to see a counsellor but have had nothing but excuses.this is a blatant disregard to my health and welfare this mob should be investigated or are they hand in glove with gov.

I wasn’t mentally fit for my job, I left and continued my job search, they cut my payments for 8 weeks and I called them distraught because I have a cat to feed and the manager told me “you should of thought of that before you left your job”

I am so fed up with how they treat me, I just recently got called in for a job interview, i haven't worked for sometime but still I'm looking for work, the position i went for seemed pretty good but i also had to mention that i do get lower back pain from constant lifting and was wondering if there was a lot of lifting involved and the guy seemed fine just mentioned i'd be put on lighter work if all go's well.. So after the interview and within an hr i received a msg saying my payments have been suspended because of my job interview so i called and they said yes i was suspended because i mentioned that i have lower back pain to the guy, and they went on to say i shouldn't have said it because it gives APM a bad name... in other words what they are saying is we don't care about your health or well-being go and break your back we only care about our reputation...

Was with two offices in the Illawarra region for well over a year. The people seemed OK at first but was very unhelpful as I had not single one interview while I'm with them. No job ever contacted me was from them. All they do is look on SEEK and pass you some job links, which anyone could've done it themselves. Most of the time were jobs that I had already applied anyway.

The final straw was when I missed my appointment on the morning my mother passed away, got a phone call, told my consultant what happened, she insists on continue and interviewed me on the spot as the police and ambulance were still with us. Went on for 10 minutes and scheduled the next appointment. Truely cold-blooded and I felt horrible, and no respect from APM consultants.

Not to mention the number of things I'm not satisfied with for the time I was with them. Changed 5 consultants over one year because people come and go (as well as them quitting and leave you due to poor environment, presumably pressed from management to get quotas filled within the office). Always get asked the same questions again and had to explain everything again as if they never looked at my file or resume. Was pushed to jobs where I'm unable to perform due to medical issues and multiple guilt tripping as well as get labeled as inadequate in skills (despite having a large number of qualifications) and choosy. Unable to pay for my training and I ended up pay for my own. I was constantly stressed and depressed because I believed for a while of what they said about me not having skills.

Do not use their service, if you're with them, change it, you have the right to do that, call the national service line for DES or you can change it through your job active account.

I have been with APM for several months. I have been through five different people within that time. APM Hastings office are unable to retain staff, as a result, I have had to go through the mental anguish of starting over again with every new person. It's an absolute joke. Today I went in only to once again be given to another new person! She started with "I've had a look at your CV and I think you need to make it generic and less focused on what you have been doing for 20 years". Wow. Really? To be spoken to with utter contempt and absolutely zero regard or understanding that you can't make a highly specialised person's CV of twenty years "generic". You can also not remove 20 years experience so that you can make it more "generic". These cowboys are are a disgrace. There was literally only one of the five JSP agents who treated me fairly. Avoid this agency like the plague, they're all about the KPI's and not people focused.

I was with the Geelong VIC branch for over a year. And for the first 6 mths I couldn't get an appointment with them before 2pm at all this was never convenient for me only for them as they would show me their schedule as evidence. They never helped me with job search or applications for jobs. AND when I attended my appointments they where only 5-10min long how can they effectively help anyone in that time and telling me I new how to look for work and didn't need them ha! their job was to help me. I eventually left because I had no confidence that they were there to help me at all. And when 'they' decided that I had to join their "Job Club" and make 10 cold calling calls to employers. I was never allowed to apply for work in any other way, I have never liked call canvasing but they didn't care. They also didn't bother to discuss it with me first just through me into one wk before xmas. They are very militant in their approach to making people do things, they don't listen to you and don't tailor a job search plan to you even though that's what they say they'll do on their website. Got 2 penalties for 1. forgetting an appointment and 2. sending in my JS efforts late, even though I had a good record of always doing things on time what's wrong with using their discretion and giving you adequate time to respond. People do forget or misplace things from time to time why should you get punished for it.t? They don't care how that could affect a persons life. I'm now with Matchworks and couldn't be happier in the past few months I've gotten 2 interviews and they are very helpful with job applications. I am also more confident that asking for help from Matchworks then I ever was with APM. I seen a lot of reviews from past employees of APM and even their employees hated working there.

This place is absolutely pathetic they couldn't organise a root in a brothel I just rocked up for my work for the dole for the second time end again been sent home because they say they know nothing about me that's 4 bus fares and 2 hours on the bus wasting and you can sure as s*** guarantee they won't compensate me for that I'm a person on bloody new start receiving $227 a week they are just complete waste of bloody time

The sort of disability job agency that sends a man with no hands to a data entry job interview, a deaf mute to a call centre job interview, a woman with no legs to a landscaping job interview, a university physics degree graduate to a two week basic literacy and numeracy certificates course.... nuf said.
