Took my money for a 6 month package and promptly shut up shop. Only offered use of package at another store 100km from my house. Being given the run around by management. Everyone is “empathising” but not acting. I would love to get a refund, but on a pre recorded message they say they don’t have my money to refund me.

Poor service spent over $250 on 3 appointments for my partner. She attends one, and then has to reschedule the next. They count the scheduling as an appointment. This will be passed on to fair trading and ACCC. Poor customer service, wouldn’t recommend

I went to the Australian Skincare Clinic in Chadstone for laser hair removal the staff there were very professional and friendly the prices were reasonable and they do zip and afterpay which is a plus.

Today I been at the chadstone Australia skin clinic ,treated by Pauline ,amazing results my skin feels excellent haven’t felt like this for a very long time...

Have been attending the Australian Skin Clinics - Chadstone Atrium for some time now for my Micro's and I have to say..I love it !!! Thank you to Helen who's advice and care is always on point. Love coming in for my treatments and a chat, so confident in the level of capability that I get from the staff there.

The Hornsby Australian Skin Clinic where I have been getting laser hair removal for lip, chin and underarms, recently burnt all these part of my body very badly. At the time of the process being done, I informed the technician that the pain was unbearable and much more than usual. She adjusted the airflow which made it slightly less uncomfortable. Despite this, at one point I had to ask her to stop because I could not tolerate the pain. There was no adjustment made to the setting despite my complaint. My face and underarms were on fire and by the time I reached home, I could see scarring on my face. I emailed pictures to the clinic straightaway and informed of the issue. I applied ice to cool the burning which was unbearable. I then went back to the clinic so I could show the technician what had occurred. The only response I got was that I was tI had signed a consent form saying that there might be pigmentation and secondly that I have to buy the overpriced products to help improve the situation. I did not sign up for my body to be burnt and then to pay more money to buy products to undo the damage. I kept telling the technician that I was burnt and she kept saying that I have signed the consent for pigmentation, and then proceeded to show me it. I said to her that despite the consent, it does not absolve responsibility for negligence. She offered me a brightening serum and asked to apply that to reduce the discolouration.

3 weeks after the treatment, I now have dark patches on my chin and my underarms look terrible. I even left a comment on the Australian Skin Clinics website but I have had no response or contact which makes it feel like they don't even care. I have posted some pictures of my face to show how it was burned. I have not posted any pictures of the underarms but they look terrible to the extent that I cannot wear sleeveless dresses anymore.

I would strongly recommend that this clinic is not visited. They leave you scarred and do not take any responsibility for the outcome...... that is completely unacceptable. I am too scared to do any more sessions because instead of solving a small problem, I now have a big problem that will have a life long impact on my life. This is negligence at its best.

I came across a really good discount Australian Skin Clinics were offering, and I had heard great things about laser hair removal so I decided to give it a go. Although it isn't the most comfortable procedure, the results I am seeing are amazing. I have been amazed at how effective laser hair removal is and would highly recommend Australian Skin Clinics to anyone who asks! Very happy with my results and am happy I took the leap :)

Prepaid 3 treatments ($750) 3 weeks ago. First appointment scheduled next week. Received a phone call today stating new management took over and they no longer offer this type of treatment. I asked for a refund. Told they would email me information how to apply for refund from the old owner. Instead they emailed me contact details for SV Partners (financial insolvency firm). When I contacted them, I was told they had no knowledge of Australian Skin Clinics. I doubt I will get any money back but will pursue via legal channels. This is a disgrace!

September 30th 2019 Update: A further scam - Greenhills -

So, following my last review when I was told that there had been an overnight change of management and I would need to contact the old owners to get the money I prepaid for my treatments ($750, they then emailed me contact details for liquidators), I told them I would like to use this money towards other treatments as I knew I would have zero chance of getting the money from the old owners (I contacted the liquidators and they told me they knew nothing about it). They gave me an appointment for today. When I turned at my appointment today I was told that they could not offer me such treatments because they would lose money but they could offer me hair removal treatments (which I do not need)!! So be very careful, do not pay this company any money. It's a scam and I wonder how many others they have scammed!

I would like to thank the consultant that took care of me. She was very professional and explained what she was going to do. She explained what I had to do after the treatment.

I had my consultation this morning at North Lakes with Belinda. She was extremely helpful and gave me all the information I required. She gave me some great tips & advice on what skin treatment would personally suit me. I didn't feel in any way that she was just trying to sell me stuff. She was friendly and professional & I look forward to the treatments I am booked in for.

I have been a regular with Australian skin clinic for over 5 years.. I’m disappointed I’m having to write this but enough is enough. On several occasions I have met with and created a plan for my skin treatment or injectables. I book the next appointment and confirm that same staff member will be doing it. The staff then write this on file. I drive the 45 minutes for the next appointment to be told they’ve called in sick. I then reschedule the appointment.. I show up to the next time to find out they’ve now left... like a good hair dresser, you go to that person because you liked the outcome. In the past year and a half I’ve had 2 facial nurses (of course after buying a pack) and 3 injectable nurses leave... I can give you names if you like.. I don’t think I will be going back due to the uncertainty. I’m writing this to say that you need to look after your staff as staff will continue to keep the clients not your lotions and filler.. we can get that elsewhere, people who we have learnt to trust with our faces!

I went in for my first treatment, a little nervous and unsure about what to expect. The nurse was amazing in her approach and the results were amazing! Looking forward to my next appointment.

I can’t believe this place just shuts down and their only option for customers is travelling an hour and a half to get any pre-paid procedures on the Gold Coast. This can’t be legal. And why are they closing? Dodgy!

It’s the greatest day of my entire week ever! I just had an awful week lately and once I came for the treatment they just make my day I would give them 10/10 stars! The treatment went really great and I have a bit of a girl talk and also a discount that I needed lol. Anyway they’re the nicest and the loveliest dermatologist ever xoxo

I have been a customer at Robina clinic for a year now and I have always received a great service. Never had problems with booking, always taken on time, work done properly. Even though I have moved further away from the clinic, I still go there and do not want to change to another one. Staff is always nice and tries to do their best to provide a great service. Definitely recommend this clinic. I have been only doing Laser hair removal so cannot talk about other services, but LHR definitely done well.

I have been getting laser hair removal for 4 years. I get a touch up every 3-6 months. I’ve had it in many countries. This was the WORST experience. I hope to save other people from what I’m going through. I went for a Brazillian and underarms. This means everything down there everywhere else. The girl who did my treatment treated me like I was disgusting (never had that before). She barely did anything, she literally only did half an underarm on one side then went over my vagina within one minute, not making sure to get every section like everyone else and did not do a Brazillian that I paid for. I could tell she wanted it over with and it made me insecure so then so did I. Well, now a few weeks later I have a terrible infection on my skin where the laser touched me. I’m not Australian so going to the doctor to treat it costs more then the laser. WORST EXPERIENCE of my life with any medical laser/spa anything. Save your money, your body and your peace..... stay away from this dodgy operation.

I went in with flawless skin and had microneedling - if your considering this treatment be careful - my flawless skin now has a texture like an orange and I have scarring on my forehead and around my mouth - this is six days after treatment and following the post treatment process. It was also very painful and uncomfortable for four days - like I had very bad sunburn for four days - or my skin had been burnt - I was not expecting that - I was just advised of peeling and tightness. I am so depressed - and just hope my skin heals. They were pushing me to buy more treatments but glad I said no to that - I would never go back to this clinic again - they should have warned me more about the side effects and if I thought I was going to have scarring I would never have done it - what is the point of this?

I wanted to get botox at age 52 and decided I didn't like the Nicole Kidman frozen forehead look and explained this to the Clinic nurse . Nothing much happened until around two weeks and noticeable frown lines and also opened up my eyes a bit as well . On my 2nd consultation she topped up the area and I was surprised how quick the procedure was. I went to my mothers place and she was anti botox and she couldn't tell I had it done. I said mum I had botox and she said , well you're looking healthy but I didn't know. Very happy with this and will definitely be coming back.
