This booking service saved me hours of ringing around to find a mechanic that’s available, reliable and affordable. The are very friendly, professional and get the job done very quickly.

I booked my first appointment, to which I found out the mechanic was unavailable by email, I tried to call you back. No answer so I left a message twice at 2pm! No return call. I eneded up booking with another mechanic for the day after and returned an email, this was at 3pm! One message from the company with the booking number but no confirmation. This next morning i phoned up twice because the first didn't go through. Only to get told that the second mechanic can not do the designated time slot and I had to wait untill later that day . At which I had commitments. Worst service ever , would never recommend to anyone. And I hope my insurance ceases partnership with your company.

They accepted a booking, then cancelled and it's going to be 3 days to get a refund back into my account, so I'm not able to find another service till I am refunded , so a week with no way If getting to and from work

I requested for a windscreen replacement between midday and 2pm. Someone from the office, I think her name was Bella, called me to change the time and also mentioned that there might be an extra charge for the moulding from $40. I mentioned that if it will be much more then $40 for the moulding I might not go through with it. She responded by if you think you won't go through with it, I rather just cancel it now. Was I supposed to accept any amount the person would of qouted me for the moulding? If these are your standards of costumer service I am sure you are losing costumers daily.

Booked 8am to 12pm window 11am came i had to call in for update was told 1pm which is no use as I had to reschedule my day already i should have been updated of the late arrival

I spoke with Maddy who was extremely friendly and helpful. Communication between myself, Maddy and the repairer was prompt and thorough. I would definitely recommend this service and will be using it myself again!

I wanted book a mobile mechanic for a car that would not start. I selected the option " car would not start" . The system completed the booking but then later it turned out that I am supposed to drop off the car at the mechanic. A simple logical function was not included in the algorithm !

Mechanic was great, knew his stuff.
But when he arrived he asked if it was just a basic service, which I had booked a logbook service ( big price difference between the both)
The mechanic also isn’t issued with a what’s included like I was, which I showed him. My understanding from what was included was different to his.
Where it said check/clean spark plugs- renew if needed ( When he said my plugs had to be changed, apparently that is extra, but that’s not stated in the what’s included.

I needed logbook service for my car, they sent me to a car service which was great, I was 100% happy with the mechanic, but AutoGuru itself was an awful experience! Here is why:

Pro:
- Introduced a good mechanic.

Cons:
- They promised to send a $10 Uber voucher but they never did.
- They hung up the phone call on me as soon as they realised I called for the voucher and didn't answer my further calls, nor did they call me back although I had left a message on their voice mail.
- After a week they contacted me and instead of resolving the voucher issue they asked me to update the review I left for them.

Final comment: I don't recommend them as they are not honest and I am not going to try their service again.

I made a booking online and got an immediate response with booking time and day, when mechanic had to change day of booking I was notified promptly by phone by a young lady.

I’m very disappointed that you have a Mechanic on your books that does not do afterpay but having them on there as they did.
I had to fork out extra money as my car needq More work. That’s fine but to find out they have no afterpay facilities after you have advised me they did was very stressful. I assumed they had afterpay! Luckily they told me earlier and I could accommodate for this.

I think you should look into updating your system!

Rang 30 min after they were supposed to be there to say they would be 15min. Didn't turn up, didn't answer phone call and auto guru couldn't even contact or make alternative arrangements. Turned up 3hrs late, found taking drugs in his car before proposing to undertake service. Auto Guru say they don't vet mechanics they are just a booking service. Beware! Horrible experience.
Wasted the day waiting and had to postpone a heap of activities.
