Oct 18/12 - replied that I do not want a Navtool as it is more expensive with less features
Oct 18/12 - received reply stating my order was on hold for customs and back ordered offered me the Navtool at a lower price
Oct 19/12 - replied telling them I didn't want the Navtool and would appreciate communication on my order status
Oct 29/12 - emailed asking for an update as my account on their website still shows "Processing"
Oct 29/12 - received reply saying the Lockpick is still back ordered, but they could ship me a Navtool instead
Oct 29/12 - replied saying no again to the Navtool and told them if they do not have a date when my order will ship to cancel it.
Oct 31/12 - still haven't received a response, but have since found 2 other vendors who have the Lockpick in stock

Grom USB2P-HON1 bluetooth Auxiliary Interface with Bluetooth option not working well in my Honda Odyssey 2007 with NAV and RES. It could be my phone, but it's an HTC EVO, very standard, it should not have posed a problem. I don't get any sound coming from the speaker when using the phone connected to GROM in Bluetooth mode, how annoying. Accessing Autotoys help is confusing, the Youtube uncut video doesn't work. I have to wade through a maze to find out the necessary information, and still my bluetooth phone doesn't work.

I have ordered Rand McNally TND 530 GPS system on 12/17/2014 .7 days later I have send email to Autotoys asking when should I expect my device,they replied me back 4 days after. I still dont have my device (12/29) and really frustrated because of that. Will never shop again with them,even if I need to pay more money for something that I need.

I bought the Grom USB2P-HON1 device for my 2005 Acura TSX. The product is authentic. I bought the complete package because I like versilitly. This included iPod/Aux-in/bluetooth doggle. I made my purchase with autotoys because of pricing, they sold it much less than the official Grom website. Only difference is you don't get the free Grom USB stick when you order with autotoys. I ordered it on the 9th and didn't receive it until 20th due to hurricane Sandy. Bad timing on my part, but I was in no hurry to get it. I think, this device is the best audio adapter for my car, you do more where the competition can't. Streaming music via bluetooth is the key feature which enticed me to buy this product. It's plug and play, very easy DIY. Autotoys have a youtube tutorial, which is great. Just remember to "switch mode" for usb/ipod & aux when the womens voice comes on, otherwise other feature won't. I am extremely happy with the product. Thank you Autotoys.

I ordered a GROM USB2Plus for my 2005 Lexus ES330, as well as a USB finish installation kit for a clean USB installation of a USB port in my center console.

The USB port went well and looked great in place of my 12V outlet that was in the center console.

But, I had issues with the GROM adapter and getting it to work right. I followed the manual and online aids to a T, yet, I couldn't get it to work. Eventually the device quick working entirely and the only thing I could get out of technical support was "your not changing the modes right," I couldn't get them to understand the unit was unresponsive, or, that I had uninstalled and removed it!

It is nice that a company will respond to a negative review, only to say that the customer was doing it wrong, when the customer TOLD THE ***ING company that the unit wouldn't work until a Firmware update was done.

If a company's only response to a review is "the customer was doing it wrong," when there was more to the problem the customer was saying all along goes to show you what an outfit they are!

UPDATE: Thankfully, I had ordered my unit using my PayPal Debit Card and I got them involved. I don't think that without their help that I would have gotten my money back! Thank you PayPal, and Autotoys.com.

I had 2 things done here,first of all I own a brand new 2016 F150 in which they put a drop in bed liner,after inspecting the bed liner I found the driver side inside part of the bed to be all scratched up,this must of been done during inexperienced installation of my bed liner.Also there was a rubber tail gate stopper removed during the installation that was not putty back on and noticed my truck all a sudden started to maker a banging noise after going over a bumps,I took it back and they found the piece and put it back on.
I also had a leather interior installed into my brand new truck by them, that looks like an amateur installed, it's loose as a goose after 2 tries of fixing it I brought it to a professional.Dont let them touch you Vehicle!

I bought an electric latch actuator for the rear lift gate of a Ford Escape. Easy to find the part that matched exactly from Autotoys site. The part is not available from Ford or any parts brick and mortar stores that I checked. I was suprised by how quickly I received my order using standard shipping. Turn around time for order processing and delivery was only 2 days!

I was searching the web for a siren to use on a remote alarm package that required 12vdc equip. I had never purchased from Autotoys and was concerned about the quality of their products as well as the security of purchasing thru a supplier that I had no history with or direct knowledge of.
I saw what seemed to be the item I was searching for and decided to take a chance.
Purchasing was easy, they accepted paypal and so at least I felt a little more secure.
When I received my siren that I purchased, it came in at or under the specified delivery date.
When I opened the package and saw the quality of the siren I had gotten, I was realy impressed by the straight forwardness of the site. It was very rugged in construction and it was plenty LOUD !!! Very nice.
There were multiple items I could have purchased, but their review of this particular siren was exactly as stated.
I was going to purchase .... like 5 of the sirens on my first purchase, but as stated I had never purchased before with this site. But I will be getting the rest soon, and I would definitely give the thumbs up to anyone wanting to purchase from Autotoys.

Still waiting for parts that I ordered twelve days ago and paid $31.00 extra for expedited shipping.

First, the part that took twelve days to get DID NOT need to be programmed. It simply did not ship until ten days after I ordered it. I asked several times for a tracking number, and never was given one.

Second, the part that did need to be programmed did not leave Autotoys until Thursday, while I have emails telling me it would ship on Monday or Tuesday.

Third, when I emailed for assistance, Autotoys response was "remove the negative feedback and we will help you".

Fourth, Autotoys NEVER did get the unit working. I had to get Audiovox tech support to get the settings correct.

Fifth, I wrote a long and detailed letter, asking specific questions, to Autotoys. Never got any reply.

Sixth, Autotoys offered "compensation" if I would revise or remove the negative review.

I have been patiently waiting for the navtool kit since ordering (and paying) in October 2014. I kept getting the same reply, "not in stock". Last time I asked, they promised it would ship in January. End of January now and still no reply with shipment info. Need unit or refund, tired of waiting.

After being 'prompted' by my negative review, I received the following email, "
Hello,
We just notice from NAVTOOL that the MYGIG boxes are back in stock -
“finally!” We expect to ship your order within a couple of days or earlier.
Going forward, we will have a tight relationship with Navtool and they have
promised they wont have any futher backorders. Please understand this was out of
our control and they were provided the ETA dates we were forward to you.

It has been a week later now and still no tracking number or offer for refund. It has been nearly 4 months now since I paid for an item which was offered as "available to ship immediately".

Its been over a year and its hard to get a hold of them. They don't call you. I'm trying to see what happened to my order and all they tell me is that's its pre-ordered which I understand and their policy says it would be from 4-6 weeks, I don't know if they're building it, I'm trying to get my money back and now they are saying they can only give me store credit. This is my fist and final time buying from them.

I had to exchange the cable that came with my GROM USB3-TOY to a TOY1. Although, the exchange process took some time between getting the RA#, Shipment and return shipment it was handled as quickly as possible and very professional. Communication was very good and I received my exchanged part within the 10 days that was promised. I hooked up the new cable and unit to my 2002 Lexus ES300 and it works great.

I purchased four amps for a great price. To my surprise the amps arrived in no time flat. They work great. Autotoys provides excellent service and helps to make your dollars go further.
I highly recommend them, pass it forward.

I was searching for an aux adapter for my 04 TSX. Decided on the GROM USB2P-HON1. Was directed to Autotoys when searching for install videos. Was a little tough to find but did, and it was all i needed to know. Shipping was free, got to me quick, and the price was 10 bucks less than the Grom website so i figure i saved about 20 bucks. Install was easy and it works like a charm.

Ordered 30ft of Speedwire for an amazing price, couldn't find anywhere cheaper, came in 1 length. Got it the next business day and i was certainly not shorted on the length. Great first experience.

As stated in same forum, exact replacement for Ford Escape 2002 Kiekert actuator. Easy install ~1hr: remove x4 screws to remove panel, undo x4 bolts + x1 screw holding plate to inside of rear hatch, unclip carefully x3 plastic clips attached to locking mechanism rods. This allows access to back of plate (hanging down) to detach old actuator and attach new - x2 hex screws, same holes on Autotoys actuator. New actuator just clips onto existing connection to actuate locks. Wiring trial end error but just reverse if not working until everything works (Ford R = AT blue, Ford R/B = AT grn). Tidy up wiring so doesn't snag w/ locking mechanism. Put everything back. No need for additional hardware - an absolute breeze and saves $300+ as quoted by the local Ford dealers. Super fast delivery, bargain fix for my non-locking tailgate/hatch. Nice one!

I got the item I ordered in two days time, I installed it the same day! It works amazing! I love having the ability to have Bluetooth and a USB port in my car now! Great savings over what iSimple sells it for! Free shipping was great! No complaints at all!

ME: If I do not hear from you by noon Eastern Time on 1/16/2013, I will initiate proceedings with my credit card company to have the charges reversed for the item I paid for but have not yet received. Either that, or refund my money voluntarily on your part and cancel my order. My order was placed 1/6 and today is 1/15 yet I have still not received my item. I find this delay unacceptable -- especially for something so expensive.

AUTOTOYS: The programmer for the unit was away at CES. We can cancel your order or we can continue with it, let us know which you would prefer. He is now back.

Later the same day:
ME: CES ended 1/10/13. Today is 1/15/13. Saying your programmer was away at CES and only just now returned and have not yet programmed my unit is not acceptable to me. In your prior emails, you made no mention whatsoever about your programmer being away.

**** CANCEL MY ORDER RIGHT NOW and GIVE ME A FULL REFUND RIGHT NOW ****

After reading the reviews about Autotoys, this seems to be their usual modus operandi. I count myself lucky that I was able to get a refund given the run-around I encountered.

Receive e-mail i sent a payment to SounConceptions even though there is no confirmation anything has shipped yet.

Month goes by no word whatsoever, i email them. Sept 17th they reply telling me it's on back order, i can continue to wait, cancel or substitute. I reply (Sept 18th) asking how long can they estimate the wait would be. NO RESPONSE

So i wait a bit more, October and November come around and they reply asking what was my order number. I send the all the info. NO RESPONSE.

December emails. NO RESPONSE
January, Feb., March, Arpil, May, June, July. NO RESPONSE!

August. Their Reply: Stephen. This order was not cancelled and refunded?

ANSWER ME!! I've been sending emails that have gone ignored all year!!

I don't know why you guys would charge me before letting me know it will be on backorder!!

I bought a Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.3 from Autotoys for such a great price I was slightly skeptical and thought I was possibly being scammed. Boy, was I wrong. They replied promptly to all of my inquiries, took my order and shipped in very short order. I could not be happier and feel I got one of the best deals on the net. This product is as much as $250 more on other sites. I've already spread the word about AutoToys.com
