I have been wearing the bio strap for 6 days now. I love the design and how snug, yet comfortable it is! The data is very interesting and has helped me to be more aware of my health!

# occasionally see totally wrong readings (e.g., heart rate was consistently in the 50's and suddenly got one reading in the 90s when I wasn't doing anything; respiration between 12 and 18 and suddenly got one reading of 30 while I was asleep) # can't distinguish sitting still from sleeping; # no way to mark sleeping periods as actually asleep; # setting up and tracking exercises is much too complex (paper and pencil is a LOT better); # time gaps in some measurements but not in others; no answer from customer support about any of the above issues finally, website did not work for a return and a customer support person had to set it up by hand

Going on day 5....from tech support see below....terrible customer service It sounds like your device may be in what is referred as a state of "brick." If the wristband can’t be located, you may have to completely drain the battery battery It may take full 3 days for the battery to drain completely. After 3 days, place the wristband briefly on the charger and try to connect it to the Biostrap app. If the wristband still can’t be connected or located, it is possible that battery may not be completely drained. Wait for one more day (without charging) and try again. If the wristband still can't connect, this would mean the sensor has gone bad. In that case, we'll issue a replacement device after those steps have been followed.

I have now used the Biostrap with the Shoe pod for 46 days. It is paired with the App on the iPhone X. When working, the Biostrap provides useful information, Heart Rate, Steps, Respiratory Rate, Sleep History and other measurements. I find the negative issues most frustrating. First, communication between the App and device is sporadic at best. When it does connect, sync times are frustrating as they take several minutes and the phone and device must be in very close proximity. As mentioned, I have now been using the Biostrap for 46 days. Most recently, in the last week the Biostrap has failed to properly record any workout data whatsoever for five days, four being consecutively. Currently it has become not even a good paperweight.

Having bilateral pleural effusion I need to monitor my O2 saturation and heart health 24 hours a day. The biostrap has allowed me the freedom to carry on my daily activities without having to attach myself to blood pressure monitors and oximeters. I can get up to the minutes readings anytime. Thanks Biostrap

They replaced my charger in electronics after over one year which was great! The shoe pads have a tendency to break broken over three of them in the past year and they charge me to replace those. These were such a minimal amount, I was a little surprised they would charge me for them. Otherwise, great!

I've only had my BioStrap for about a week now, and reading/understanding graphic data is not my strong suit. I need more time to learn the device, and I need more information on how to breakdown the data retrieved. More time needed~

I had someone respond to me - but he just told me not to use it for days and maybe it'll start working again if the battery drains. I may return and buy another one just so I can actually test it. Its not worked for more than half the time I've had it so far.

While I love the product and the goal - it seems that over the past couple of months that there haven't been any updates, including even addressing early issues (the post-recording quick feedback has not worked for months - always need to go back after a sleep session is finished, and add later). The algorithms for sleep still appear to be a bit off; some of the suggested presentation of movement has never come to fruition. It's a product with great promise, and the new Ethos seems even better...but appears that Biostrap could be falling behind competitors.

I have tried 2 different heart rate straps. The bio strap application sees the heart rate strap but will not collect data at all including and active workout session.. IM troubleshooting is too slow.

I wish the battery life was longer, and that it was waterproof, but other than that I really like it. I like that it doesn't have a display, and that the bands can be easily changed. The testing seems accurate, and I like the amount and type of information that it collects. Overall a good product, if the first couple of minor issues I mentioned were changed (especially the battery, waterproof isn''t that big of a deal), it would be 5 stars all day.

This is my second unit ... lost the last one and expect the newer strap to be more secure ... it’s been a very useful tool for someone who had mild-mod OSA and does not tolerate CPAP ... nice yo know where night time O2 sat is at ....
