spoke to numerous supervisors who tried figure out how to sell me what i wanted---spoke to sales person and ordered a storage bench-paid for it using gift cards-order confirmed--2-3 day free shipping and applied an additional 15% discount at end of order----their system could not accept the 15% unless the whole order was then cancelled but it would take several weeks(??).
so i said just credit the 15% to my in house acct---no problem( after the call was shuffled along to another supervisor-)--yeah right(sarcastic)---then this sale just went totally south---no fix in sight--what a poorly trained staff and business model---i wanted to buy but they couldn't figure a way to complete the sale. is this any way to run a business? yes if you want potential customers to run in the opposite direction and buy the same item from houzz or build.com or overstock.

I was on hold for 50 minutes to order a table. Table strived in box with a tear and a dented in edge. Contacted them immediately to return. 2 days later no action taken other than initial email reply.

Ordered Wednesday and arrived Friday. Ordered by phone. Excellent customer service. Bed is of excellent quality, and I am very happy. Would recommend them to anyone.

Ordered 18 items (furnishing new apartment)many items delivered before my lease started called several times to tell them I was getting delivery notices,I was out of the country,told they would fix.Birch lane left several pieces in my lobby (7) with out of country.furniture that was delivered was not assembled,some items to big to fit on elevator,just left in lobby w/out telling me.a dozen calls to fix went unreturned or told they they would fix.told to load complete bedroom set (Kingsize) plus multi couches , chairs,tables lamps desk,etc into my car and take to the nearest UPS store for return,which they would kindly pay for.I own several restaurants almost 40yrs.in business.I would have been out of business several years ago if I treated my customers this way.Keivin McFadden Ps Kate Clancy still waiting for return call.purshase date October 3,2019

I ordered a chest of drawers that once delivered was broken and the paint was scraped. Sent photos to Birch Lane and they sen a replacement chest that was just as damaged as the first! Contacted them again, and have not heard back at all. I now have to unusable chests of drawers that are broken beyond repair, sitting in my garage that I am not sure what to do with. Furniture is junk. Do not order any furniture from this site or from Wayfair in general. You will be out the money,with no customer service.

I ordered complete living room set March 2017. The Manning couch has attached pillows that are now tearing from the seam. I bought the warranty service with the furniture. Rips and tears are covered. Warranty service will not repair my couch. They said the rip must be accidental. I am still fighting via email to get couch repaired. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.

Ordered my end table on Nov 15th with a delivery date of November 20th. Table never came so I logged in to my account and the status of my order is now backlogged 3 weeks, even though it was in stock when I ordered it!! No notification what so ever, I had to log into my account to find out. They email me their promotions 1-2 times a day even after I opted out multiple times, but they didn't bother to email me to tell me my order was backlogged!! Ridiculous!!

I browsed their site and put two items in my online cart. I did not want to go forward with the order because I wanted to add more things plus I was out of town and I would not be home to receive the order. I closed my computer. The next day I got a message thanking me for my order. I did not place the order, I did not choose a shipping, I did not give my billing info, I did not provide a credit card. I called the company immediately and the wait time was 29 minutes to talk to someone. By now I had seen that this company was part of Wayfair, who I had ordered from before. I opted to go online to cancelled the order. I received an email acknowledging my “Cancellation Request”. So, I called back to be told that it was too late to cancel. I asked how did this company get my credit card info and they told me that they were part of Wayfair. I called my bank and made a complaint.

- Delivery scheduled for Saturday 8-12
-First story was they knocked and no one was home
-Then when I asked to send them a picture of my couch in proximity to my front door, they determined the items were not on their delivery truck
-ETA for items that were still 5 states away was after New Year's when original order was 2nd week of November and original delivery 12/15
-But great news!!!! They offered me a FULL REFUND!!!!!! What a company
-My family will be eating off of the kitchen tile for the Holidays thanks to Birch Lane and Wayfair

They have a price tabbed over to their website, once connected the item is 75$ higher. Their response is “not our problem”.

I ordered one window valance that I could return by US mail for two or three dollars. However, I was charged over eight dollars to return this item,more than half of the cost of the item. I will never order anything else from this company.

I recently moved to a different state and needed some furniture to fill up our new house. I order two chairs from Birch Lane on line. After a few weeks I got an email from Birch Lane saying that my order was delivered but I didn’t receive them. I called the company and discovered that I never changed the address to my new one! The customer service rep was wonderful! She arranged for UPS to pickup the chairs at my old address and arranged for new chairs to be delivered to my new address. She was so professional and patient. They have wonderful customers service as far as I’m concerned!

I ordered a comforter set 11/22. Was told I would receive it 12/2.. never did so on 12/4 I called to ask where my package was.. reps response was I don’t know, looks like it’s been lost.. um ok! So she mailed me out a replacement. Was suppose to be delivered on the 12/6 at the latest! Never received it either! I finally just called and asked for a full refund!
This is absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER order from this company again!!!

I purchased 2 chairs and decided to return. So far it has been more than a week and I have not received my return label. After my first email request I was sent a response that stated it was attached. But it was not. Called, still not sent. Called again on a Friday, told I have to wait till Monday. Called yesterday (Monday), customer service agent told me no return label has been issued and said she would resend request to return department. She even sent me an email to let her know when I received it. Still---NO LABEL. A SIMPLE TASK HAS BECOME A HUGE HEADACHE. FIND WHAT YOU WANT ELSEWHERE1

I bought 3 items and they only sent 2. one was a set of bed sheets. They are falling apart after 2 washings. I called them . They said they did not have any information on me buying anything. once I called my credit card and gathered all the information they said they did not have now said it was too late to given me a refund. They do not stand by their products and rip you off.

I purchased a 4’ National tree, artificial. I had some trouble with it last year of it not being very steady on its little burlap bundle for its base. I was a very recent widow so I was in no frame of mind to figure it out. This year, 12/02/19 when I got it out there was no standing up at all. Ends up they only have a 1 year warranty on a seasonal item that only comes out once a year. O too bad warranty expired!! Finally ended up opening the little burlap bag to see what was there & o my goodness! Just about the worst assembly ever! Now if I pay $100 for something I expect it to be top notch assembly especially on something as small as a 4’ tree that I just paid $100 for. A little 4” square plaster of Paris block that has a 4’ tree sticking out of the middle. Then bc we all know that won’t work due to that ten x’s top heavy tree so they used that cheap styrofoam, you Know breaks all up into thousands of little fly away balls, in 4 pieces to try to make that base bigger around, but then they put a little plastic packing tape around trying to hold it all together then set it on a Round piece of 1/4” thick corrugated cardboard then hid all that mess in a little piece of burlap. Oops no square corners for stability, but who cares right?! Are you kidding me! No one should buy this product as it is a National Tree Company Rip Off! And shame on you, **** lane, for selling inferior over priced products! I will not buy from this company again as I was told they have no A-Z refund policy, like amazon, to keep customers happy with their purchases & feel like amazon really cares. Purchase date cannot be added correctly so it should read November 9, 2018!

I purchased a murphy armchair in November-december 2017, I love this chair except there is a factory defect in the non removable bottom cushion. I called birch lane and they told me no problem we will send you a new one and pick up the one I have, at no cost to me, a few days later I received an email that the birch lane warranty was no longer valid , it was 4 months to late, they cancelled my replacement chair. The chair was expensive, you would think they would honor a loyal customer, they did not. I had purchased extra warranty insurance, (Uniters), they will not honor the warranty either. Please do not do business with this company, they are not honorable, either company, there are affiliated with wayfair, never will i do business with any of these companies again, so disappointed

I ordered 2 area rugs (undecided about which would look best). Once I received them - they both looked nice. But one was too large and the other was the worst quality I’d ever felt. When I went to return they - I was charged over $30 each to return. This was my first and last experience with this website.

I ordered a bedspread yesterday August 31st...used PayPal...confirmation stated shipping on September 5th...I called within an hour and cancelled order...received a refusal to cancel, cause it was already being prepared for shipping.LIARS..THE MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT EITHER LAST NIGHT OR EARLY THIS MORNING! BIRCH LANE INDICATED THAT THE ORDER COULD BE CANCELLED AND OF COURSE THAT WAS NOT INCLUDING CANCELLING THE PAYMENT!!!! Do NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
