" Been waiting over a month for one pair of glasses for my wife who cannot drive without them.. was told by the customer service Rep that there is nothing they can do the store can offer a $20.00 credit with her order. They had the pair of glasses at the Square one location and then were returned without my wife knowing anything that they were doing not even a phone call or email up until today we are still waiting. I think this is totally unfair as a customer to be waiting this long for a pair of glasses without being compensated for it a $20.00 refund is unacceptable worst service ever. Whatever you do go to a real store if you want glasses not this place

Ordered on Sept. 11th & still waiting. I had to return to the store the next day as the Optometrist is only in once a week & you have to this person by appt. (BTW my glasses are already paid for - so no problem taking your money) There is no phone number for the store - it's a call center. Today I was told my glasses had arrived at the store & to go & pick them up. When I arrived I was advised I needed to book an appt. with optometrist to release my glasses. I tore a strip off the sales rep (Sorry) as this practice is ridiculous. I have insurance, but the clerk did not fax my completed order form, thus I had to go to UPS to send it myself - cost $5.00! and I have not been reimbursed meanwhile they have my money & I am paying interest on my credit card. I am concerned because I read some reviews from people who did not feel that their lenses were prepared properly. You only have one set of eyes & I have high expectations from providers of prescription eyeglasses. Not happy with the delays & will update following pick up of the product. So far not feeling optimistic.

Ordered a pair of glasses over 6 weeks ago.I did not received anything yet .What I’m hearing is excuse over and over .Costumer service not better either.The answer to my questions was she not making the lenses. What do I want refund or wait.Good job Bonlook! That’s how you losing costumers .Im very disappointed

I changed the color of both of my glasses three times and my prescription about twice and they fixed everything for me without a problem at all! So kind and helpful! I LOVED MY SERVICE! Cant wait for my glasses to come, I feel very secure with the service I was given. I was even sent proof that everything was going to be sent to me okay, since I changed things so many times.

Well what can I say ordered the glasses in mid September, we are not at the end of October, and after a whole lot of text recited from a book, customer service could still not let me know when I will be getting my order. So if you want to see what what you are doing get your glasses where you know you will get them. otherwise you will continue being in the dark like me.

As a careful American consumer, if I'm to purchase eyeglasses from Canada, I'll make sure I'm covered if I need to return. I bought glasses during a Black Friday promotion. Received them weeks later. They look TERRIBLE in comparison to the virtual try-on. I returned them & expect my full refund, which never arrived. I called, waited on hold for 25 mins, gave up. I got thru 2 days later, when a woman told me I only qualify for STORE CREDIT because it was a final sale. Which is total

I placed an order over two weeks ago, and paid extra for expedited shipping, as I'm legally blind and really need my glasses. Tried to contract customer service a total of five times to no avail, only getting a response up to a week or more after my initial email. Finally the glasses were supposedly "shipped" and I was sent a tracking number, only to be e-mailed 10 hours later and told that my address was 'incomplete or invalid'.. I pulled up my account on the Bonlook website, and sure enough, my address was perfectly correct. I also checked the tracking number they gave me and my CORRECT address was on the shipping label they printed according to UPS. Called customer service and the man I spoke to (who was very kind) seemed as confused as I was and said it should've been delivered already and that they may have been unable to deliver it to my home, and asked if I've ever had an issue receiving packages. I've lived here ten years and never had an issue--but the real issue here is that they never actually shipped the glasses, and are now telling me they did but UPS couldn't complete delivery? He said in the next few days I should receive a new tracking number and they'd try to send it again... they never sent it in the first place! It seems like even the employees don't know ANYTHING about what is going on over there. Just a total mess. Would cancel the order if I could, but have to wait god knows how much longer to receive the glasses first. Wish I'd stuck with EyeBuyDirect instead! Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

I have bought four bonlook frames in the last couple of years because of how cute they are. However, I kid you not, every single frame has broken because the metal hinge just snaps off in half. It is irreparable (believe me I've tried - the glasses are so cute, and rather pricey, that I wish i could continue wearing them). I won't be spending another $140 to buy my 5th pair.

I bought a pair of glasses from bonlook recently... The process was easy and they were perfect!! For such a good price. I also really appreciated the quality of the frame itself. I definitely plan to purchase more from them, especially given the low price I paid and the amazing styles they have on offer. Next purchase: sunglasses with my prescription. Never been able to afford those before!

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses from the Bonlook in Ottawa. One pair of lenses scratched extreme easily, and when I returned to see if they could replace the lenses, they said it wasn’t a manufacture error....stating it’s scratch resistant not scratch proof....never have I received such poor service from any optician. Will never return and would warn others from purchasing. Was actually told by a salesperson”we don’t replace lenses, that’s how we keep our prices so low!” Ugh . Not to mention the rude attitude by most sales people in the Ottawa store.

I went into the store to purchase my glasses using my current prescription so I would have an extra pair. They came and I could not see. She told me it would take time to get used to. I told her it wasn't a new prescription but she said to try them out a bit. I couldn't even wear them for 5 minutes. After a week I went back and told her I was having problems and I also needed them adjusted. She said to keep trying them out. Fine, another 2 weeks and I still could not wear them for 5 minutes. I took them back in and asked her to double check the pupil distance. She asked me how they had measured it and I told her by picture (even though I had come into the store to order them). I asked her if it was off and she brushed me off then said she would re-order them. Turns out it was off by 6mm. After another 10 days I got my new ones and I still couldn't see. I don't know what they did but even looking straight was blurry. After a week I went in and said I wanted to just return them. She asked me why and when I told her she rolled her eyes -not sure if it was at me or the company. Their frames are cool though.

On December 27th I thought I bought a pair of glasses. I spent two hours at the store. They took a copy of the prescription. Then I saw the optometrist who looked at my prescription. No one ever mentioned that there might be a problem filling my prescription. I paid and I was on my way. I expected to get my new glasses a week to ten days later. Well that did not happen. A week later I received an email saying they did not have my prescription. After a few back and forth emails they said they found the prescription. A few days after that they sent me an email and said that my glasses would cost $400.00 instead of $200.00. I wrote back and said that this was unacceptable. It gets better a few days after that I get a voice mail saying that they could not fill the prescription. What kind of clown act is this. I have no glasses, I am frustrated and I am short $200.00. Where in Gods name is their customer service. Spend more and save yourself undue stress. If they had their act together they could make it work. It’s not going to happen in the forseable future.

I was told by the sales associate in store that the order would take 10-12 business days. Close to the 10th business day, they sent me an email informing me that the glasses did not pass the quality test and they needed to remake it. Then nothing until close to a month. I called customer service and they were unhelpful and pretty much told me the same information provided in the email updates. I was excited to see the glasses and when I opened the box, I knew they messed up. My prescription for both eyes are -6.25, and I ordered 1.74 thin lenses despite the fact that they said I did not need them. The lenses were double the thickness of my boyfriend's lenses and he is -7.00. I brought it to the store and as soon as the manager saw it, she knew the lab messed up and she told me right away that the lenses were not made properly. She was very nice to offer to send them back, but I declined because I am not waiting another month for a pair of glasses when I can go to a local optical and get it in 2-3 business days. I requested a refund, and it seemed like their staff was unknowledgeable with how to do a refund. I hope this refund goes through, and it does not take a month, because I was quoted 3-5 business days for the refund to go back to my card.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses with them mote then 2 weeks ago and when they were in transit got an email saying that they didnt pass quality test and that they had to redo my order. Now I have to wait another 1 week mininum to get them and the only thing they could do was giving me 20$ back for waiting so long. Im not even talking about the customer service in store, just horrible and how many time I had to go in store to get what i wanted. I would not recommend anybody to do business with them.

I purchased glasses two separate time and BOTH times the arms were misaligned and customer care did not care or help, telling me they could not check quality for every pair of glasses (!!!!) and that one of my ears must be higher than the other!!!! The glasses clearly did not sit straight on a flat surface and i send pictures, upon which they denied that I should have a problem fixing them at any optical center in my city (I had had them shipped internationally) and asked me to pay shipping costs (to and fro) if I wanted to avail of my 1-year warranty. Horrible establishment as you can see. The frames look beautiful but the shop is poorly run and its policies are not tailored to customers’ best interests at all. Not worth it, just prepare yourself for navigating trouble if you want to go ahead and deal with them despite hearing this

Me (customer) : I would like to check the status of my orders its been over two weeks it has been in "processing" and then another 7-10 business days for shipping usually glasses take 2 weeks to come in from my experience with other companies

Divine (what a stupid name FYI) : Hello ??? thank you for contacting us today. one moment please, I will verify.

Divine (what a stupid name FYI) : your glasses are still in processing they normally take up to 10-15 business days from the day your prescription is vlaidated which currently makes us on the 12th business day

Me (customer) : if i do the math with the 7 days for normal lenses + 5 for progressive lenses and 10 for delivery ... from when it was initially ordered it will be over a month. Can i get a refund and cancel this order. I know i can get them somewhere else before these ones come in

Divine (what a stupid name FYI) : It does not take a month. however, if you wish to refund them, you must wait for them to arrive and you have 30 days from the day you receive them to refund. It is too late to cancel since they are already in production.

Me (customer) : they were ordered on july 19th ... 15 business days that's three weeks for production and 10 business days for delivery. So 25 business days that 5 weeks ... and im reading this off your website.

Divine (what a stupid name FYI) : I guess they changed it to be more clear. Normally it's 10-15 business days overall.

lets make it easy
1 - found branch paid glasses in full
2- waited 4 weeks, had to call to find out the glasses were ready
3 - after 1 week, faulty glasses, need to be returned
4- 4 more weeks , a couple of emails .. always have to call to get updates .. lines are ALWAYS BUSY .. of course, they deal in ****.
5- called on the day i was to get my new glasses , i was told THEY WERE SENT BACK AGAIN - NO CALL - NO EMAIL - NO NOTICE
6- I had enough, wanted a refund , was told go to the branch
7- Getting excuses , they will refund me remotely. How ? It was a debit card
8- Had to call customer service, explain the sales guy everything above, and say GET ME MY F@#$NG REFUND NOW
9- Only because I am twice the size of the sales guy who was obviously REALLY NERVOUS .. did he pick up 3 phones and finally got "authorization"

Sadly, of 4 pair I have ordered, 2 have been defective. Bon Look was wonderful about accepting returns, but it's a lot of time and hassle, I think it might help if they had better quality control before shipping, the defects were cosmetically pretty major- missing trim (with holes where it should have been) on both (different style) pairs, about 18 months apart. . .
Another thing, the last pair that I ordered were slightly different than pictured, it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but with 'statement' frames, little details matter a lot.
