Brightside

Dont use- cant contact them- they skipped appointment and one person said i wouldnt be a fit- they dont respond to emails or calls and dont answer phone-

Overall, I'm disappointed in Brightside. On the one hand, I think the Medication segment is AWESOME. I think whatever formula is working in the background to prescribe the right medication is the secret sauce. Since meeting with my doctor and swapping medications, I am feeling better. That's a big plus. The downside is the Therapy. I never felt that my therapist connected with my personal issues. Every time we started talking, we would get into a groove and it would be great. Then the next time we would speak, it was as though we were meeting for the first time again, and that became really frustrating. So my feelings on Brightside are twofold. On the one hand, I'm feeling better, which is a huge relief. On the other hand, I feel like I blew almost $300 on really ineffective therapy. That's...a disappointment.

The therapist and doctor have been great and I am feeling so much better! I was in a really bad spot when I first started using bright side and I am feeling better by the day. I’m still working on not being so anxious and worrying about everything but I am in a much better place than I was a month ago!

I owe Brightside so much. My doctor was quick to work with me, gave thorough advice, and explained my treatment plan well. The help from Brightside has truly helped me start the recovery process from anorexia.

the doctor works with me all hours day and night to ensure I get the best care. I always have someone to talk to and access to antidepressants without needing insurance. it’s quite literally a life saver.

I was in a dark place before Brightside. Sometimes it's difficult to come to terms with needing to reach out for help, and even more difficult to go through the motions of seeking that help. Brightside provides a non-invasive means of receiving mental health care on your own terms.

I feel like Brightside is effective at getting you the results you’re looking for, as fast as they can. Medications take time to work... but that aside, they’ve taken out a lot of the work or confusion trying to find the right doctor and all that - and I just think the way they have things set up, really works. I’ve been using brightside for just over 2 months and I’m already seeing results I’m happy with. I have motivation, energy and a change in perspective that has changed my life for the better. My brother died 3 years prior... and it’s been hard to move forward... and brightside was the push I needed to start being able to live my life again. I’m really grateful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Some of which I’ve already recommended brightside to.

I like the convenience and accessibility of Brightside. I have just started my journey and know I have several miles to walk before I can make a thorough decision on how it is improving my mental health BUT I do think it is starting to improve it even if just slightly.

My dr. Is trying to help which is more than I've been able to do for over 20 years. I've ignored emotions and weaknesses just to succeed in life and excell at work at the cost of the ability to feel anything but numbness and disappointment towards my loved ones when they come up short in the few hours of the month that I see them.

I was feeling stuck for so long, and unfortunately the process of finding a therapist who took my insurance and calling and setting up an appointment felt too daunting. Brightside made it easy to reach out and finally make a change in my life that has been such a longtime coming. The process of setting up an appointment was very quick and easy. I felt that they listened to my concerns. My medication came quickly. I reached out to customer support with a concern and they addressed it quickly and effectively. Overall I'm very impressed with this service.

I have enjoyed using Brightside over the past 6 weeks. It has been much easier than finding a local doctor who accepts new patients in my insurance network, not to mention having to travel to their office for appointments, which can be very difficult for someone with severe depression and anxiety issues. Every step of the way has been completed online, in the comfort of my own home! Brightside offers extra resources and “homework” that can help speed up progress, and help you understand why you feel the way you do! They also have an algorithm that helps match you up with a doctor that is right for you and understands your condition, and that can track your progress along the way! Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member!

I haven't spoken to a therapist in 3 weeks at least

I have enjoyed my time with my doctor, but I didn't receive a check in notification for 2 months when it would have been helpful. I even tried to do a checkin but couldn't find it on the app

I appreciate the convenience (not having to take off work to go sit in a doctor's waiting room), privacy, and the therapeutic exercises on the website.

I think treatment is progressing slowly but it has been moving - it's not a complaint, but an observation. The interaction with my provider has been excellent.

After three years of dealing with depression and anxiety, I was prescribed the first medication that is actually helping me. I am extremely thankful and happy so far.

I'm very happy with Brightside, and my dr. Justin. The only negative, is the time lag between prescription being given, and the mail time-lag to receive it. My dr, gets a 5+. Rx time lag a 4-.

I put off seeking mental health care for years. I truly appreciate the platform Brightside has created to help more people like me. Expanding access to care is so essential, especially for mental health.

I love Brightside, it is super easy and affordable to start and you get weekly check- ins so your doctor can track your progress. The minute my first medication stopped working my doctor messaged me with another plan of action.
