I have been doing business with these guys and gals for over 25 years, back when they were Broadcast Supply West. As a 40+ year career broadcaster now retired I still buy all my audio equipment from BSW- Broadcast Supply Worldwide. Over the years I have bought everything from an FM transmitter and antenna to a can of tape head cleaner and a bunch of rack screws. They are professional, knowledgeable, do what they say they are going to do and follow-up with you. I am not surprised that they have added some video equipment to their offering.

I ordered (1) ADAPTXLRF and (1) ADAPTXLRM adapters and paid with PayPal. According to their website both items were in stock. Ten days later no package. No backorder email. No communication of ANY kind from BSW. I called customer service to find out what happened and they said they had a run on the adapter and couldn't fulfill my order. They further said more were on order but because of a problem with the order they couldn't tell me when it would be shipped. A day later their site still says the product is in stock.

EDIT: I was contacted by Tom Roalkvam - EVP for BSW. He apologized for the problems I experienced and sent me out a set of adaptors at no cost. I know that mistakes happen. It's how companies deal with the mistakes that matter most. Thanks Tom. I'll definitely work with BSW in the future. Thank you!

DR-22WL recorder appears to be a nice recorder. The microphones are sensitive and pickup conversations 25 to 30 feet from my recording area.

Very sensitive to handling, so have your settings done before you start recording. It picks up any handling noise of its controls.

Use the tripod mount not your hand when recording

I ordered an ART PRO VLAII unit which is on back order with a projected delivery date of mid June 2016. I got a call the next day after placing the order informing me that they had a returned one (B stock) in their warehouse for $32 cheaper. It arrived two days later in the original box along with a replacement fuse, manual, and registration card. The unit was in pristine condition!

Needless to say, the unit would not power on. So I replaced the fuse with the supplied one, and still no luck. So I read the manual cover to cover looking for a remedy to no avail. Next I call BSW and they routed me to sales. I spoke to a friendly sales rep who tried to see what he could do. He impressed me by his exhausted research to find an answer to the issue. He even had me to reverse the fuse holder to make sure it was in the 110-125 voltage setting vs. the 220-240 setting (this step is not printed in the manual), and it powered on! The excitement was short lived due to the right LED vu meter being pegged out without any signal being applied to the unit. We unplugged, replugged into another outlet, adjusted knobs (setting them to zero), and the issue persisted.

The helpful rep looked up the manufacturer's help line, and gave instructions on how to get help. Long story, short... I had to call BSW back and let them know ART determined I had a defective unit.

BSW immediately transferred me to customer service, and they made arrangements to have the item returned. The next day FedEx picked up my unit at my house! 2 days later, BSW informed me that they received the defective unit, and verified if I wanted a replacement (which is on back order). I did. Now the wait is on...

In short: Excellent customer/business interaction speaks VOLUME! So far, I'm impressed!

I was told the item I ordered would be available in 2 weeks. Got an email 3 days later saying it would be 2 months. Cancelled the order. The reason I ordered in the first place was that it would be available in 2 weeks.

When I ordered I was told that my items would ship Tuesday by FedEx next day. They did not. They shipped on Wednesday with all delivery, arriving at 5:25 p.m. Unacceptable.

Ordered on a Thursday....had it on my doorstep Friday. Been a customer for years. Always a great experience and fair pricing. Some of their package deals and sales are insane. I bought a PA system and they threw in speaker stands for free. That's crazy!

I have spent a ton of money with BSWUSA over the years so you would think when an emergency came up you might get some info. I need a component overnight and first no one answered the phone so I did an online quote. I got a response 36 hours later asking if I still needed it overnight. No, this isn't Back To The Future, I no longer need it in a negative time continuum, thank you. I would expect better customer service for anyone, much more so for a long-time customer. This has happened on many occasions.

I have been ordering from BSW for the last 28 years and have never been let down! I rebuilt three studios just this year with almost everything coming from BSW!

I have been using BSW for several years now. I practically built my entire home studio through them.

They have a pretty decent selection and reasonable prices. And they also provide excellent customer service.

I will definitely continue to use them for my future audio needs, and I do recommend them for anyone in the market for production/broadcast equipment for either personal or professional use.

I needed two pairs of headsets for broadcasting and BSW had a great selection at a great price. Their shipping was very fast and I couldn't be happier with working with them.

I placed an order with BSWUSA and in about three days my order was here. Though there wasn't an urgent need my four desktop microphone stands were here in a matter of days, not weeks. I have been doing business with BSWUSA for years and will continue to do so. They are my go to place for all of my broadcast and recording needs. A five star rating is well deserved.
