Bait and switch weapons. Once you pay you are stuck with whatever gun they want to send. I bought a pistol and received a rifle and they tried to convince me it was the same gun I ordered. Some chat rep named Melissa G needs to learn what a gun is. She tried to say a rifle is the same as a pistol. I have pictures proving I was sent the wrong gun and they still try and say it is the right gun.

Bud's offers a great product line. I purchase ammo in 250 rd lots and find them to always be the least expensive. They stock the Hornady American Gunner 6.5 Creedmoor. And they ship the five boxes in identical lot numbers.

I ordered my gun 2 weeks ago my account was debited over a week ago and the gun I ordered has not been shipped yet! It seems if you don't pay the $30 dollar annual membership fee you can expect very poor customer service. This is the 2nd gun I have ordered from them in the past month and it seems as though their customer service is getting worse with each order. I also had to use the Norton price purchase insurance as I was over charged $49 for the last list price on my most recent purchase. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend purchasing a gun from Buds gun shop unless you pay their $30 dollar membership fee and pay close attention to their pricing for non-members as opposed to members which seem to be afforded very special preferential treatment as opposed to non-members. Understand I have nothing to base this on as I'm a non-member and have no experience as a member. I find this type of bias to be very bias against non-members and poor customer service to say the very least. Needless to say overall I'm more than dissatisfied with Buds and their lack of fair customer service.

I bought 300 rds of bulk 9MM that left a large amount of gritty residue when fired. I shot approx 100 rds when I noticed yellow/white grit in barrel and in chamber and have the pics to prove it. Despite 3 emails and many pics of bad 9MM ammo Buds refused to do anything about it when I followed up by chat as to why no answer to my emails. They did not have the professional courtesy to answer the emails and explain disposition. I was disconnected from chat when I asked for the name and email of the owner. BUDS customer service and their "Buy With Confidence" theme is BS! What joke. I hate liars!!

I ordered a rifle about a week into the panic buying phase that the first time gun buyers are in today. Bud's notified me by email that I may experience a delay in my order being shipped do to an extremely high volume of orders. They sent me a couple emails throughout the process just to keep me informed and I appreciated the effort. My rifle showed up at my FFL dealer 11 days after I ordered it, seemed a very reasonable processing time given the circumstances. This was my first online firearm purchase and I will only order from Bud's in the future, keep up the good work!

I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt because I've ordered from them before and my order was complete and it was satisfactory but because of the current pandemic everything has been slowed down to a crawl to the point where they're sending pieces of my order one by one it's the only thing that's aggravating especially since I made my order in March 24th and here we are in April 9th

I placed an order for a Leupold Scope, Rings, and a Remington 700 Magazine through BudsGunshop after being constantly spammed emails from their "CEO" (or, you know, marketing team) saying how "the other guys don't have inventory, they order your items from suppliers when you place your order, we have HUGE warehouse of inventory so you get your items!" ....this isn't normally enough marketing BS to get me to use a site like Buds, but at the time I was also looking to purchase two firearms as well so I figured I would place one bulk order for the rings/scope/magazine/firearms versus getting the accessories off of Amazon and the Guns off Buds. Huge mistake.

It took Buds TWO WEEKS to ship these items out to me all the while I constantly received new spam messages "from the CEO" insisting they have a warehouse full of items and that my order would be on the way. What made the entire experience even worse was that the entire time I sat around waiting for the items I purchased that I could have had next day through Amazon, their own website had NO idea what was going on with my order....the first week it just kept saying "processing". I had to sit through 40 minutes of waiting in a queue to speak with a support agent to find out that the order was on hold because it "was my first purchase over $400" .....so then I had to submit verification of my identity to Buds. Cool, that was a fun way to waste my days.

After finally sending them my ID, I sat around another week checking each day to see if the order had processed and shipped, because surely that was the only hold up right? After all CEO man Rex assured me every other day they had soooo much inventory. Nope. "Order Status: In Shipping".....day ....after day....after day. Finally on the 9th of April (I placed this order on the 26th of March) I got ahold of a customer service rep again to find out what the heck was going on. She informed me that the order was still waiting to be filled by their supplier (BUT THE WAREHOUSE! REX PROMISEDDDD!)....at this point I was done waiting around for this order to be fulfilled, I literally could have had these items in my house over a week ago if I'd used another company. I informed the agent that I wanted my order canceled and refunded, to which she informed me that Buds suppliers were not accepting cancellations or updates to orders. I then informed her that I would be having my bank perform a charge back since they could not fill the order and mislead me with marketing emails saying they would have items in stock. She then went silent for 3-4 minutes before producing a tracking number that showed my items had shipped the previous day.......their website order status? "In Shipping: Items Not Shipped". Their own website still had no idea my order had finally shipped and had it not been for this lady manually looking into the order I'd have sat around for another 3 days waiting for these items to arrive.

This experience has been an absolute disappointment at every turn. I would NEVER use this company for anything ever again. 10/10 Would Not Repeat.

Ordered 15 days ago. Maybe the money should not be taken until the item is ready to ship. Would provide incentive for shipping and piece of mind for the buyer. An anticipated ship date would also be great.

It's been almost a month since I placed an order for two magazines, a receiver end plate and a sling. All items were in stock. The end plate shipped first, the mags a week later, but still waiting for the sling. Buds customer service email link seems to be missing so I'm having trouble even reaching them to cancel the order and get a refund. I have recieved emails asking me to review an item they haven't even shipped to me ! I understand they are busy right now but there's a point where it becomes poor customer service. I doubt I will order from buds again.

I was skeptical at first with some of the reviews regarding other peoples experiences with Buds. However the positive reviews were the ones that seemed to stand out more and out numbered the negatives from what I could tell. So I gave Buds a try and I'm so glad I did. The prices are considerably lower and they do price match if you find a lower price. There straight forward with you and everything is spelled out clearly so theres no one to blame but yourself if you don't get something right and if it does come to that they will do their best to work with you. I have had conversations with customer service several times and have had nothing but great admiration for those guys. Thier very knowledgable and if they don't have the answer they are good at following up with you. I have bought weapons and ammo and would recommend them for both.

Purchasing Ammo through Buds Gun Shop was quick and easy... and I was a first time buyer. The delivery of my ammo was delayed a couple of days due to COVID-19.

Bought the item, two days later emailed and said sold out, then an email said had to fulfill order per the manufacturer, then two more days later said they were cancelling the order, then a week later emailed and said I could buy the item now if I bought a premium membership to their site. Shakedown. If you can’t management your inventory you should at least manage your website and not extort the customer for more money for “premium membership” to fulfill an order more than a week after the order was placed.
