Carport Central

We made a deposit February 23,2021 of $4200 for a building their salesman stated typically took up to 16 weeks to install. Now we have passed 31 weeks and can barely reach anyone on the phone and when we do they are full of excuses to the point of aggrevating me. No answer when or if we will ever get a building install. We have been told that they are still trying to coordinate building installations elsewhere (not in our state) from last October 2020! We are fearing after reading other reviews that this company is having serious trouble and that they may suddenly go out of business and keep our money?! Sorry to have chosen this company as they are seriously lacking in customer service and relations to the point i had to start writing reviews in hope of getting our job done or refund us, which they state they never return deposits. What a rip off and a shame to be an American company.

We found Carport Central while surfing the net to locate metal bldg installers. The saleman was very pleasant to order from but as I look back not very helpful . We had never purchased a metal bldg and really not knowing what to expect or do .. but no one gave us much direction ..as a result the day they came to install they had to take down what they had already put up and leave and I had to get a electric pole moved and the plumbing redone ,now I am waiting for another reinstall date which cost me an extra $400.. Since I do not have it , I can not comment on the product quality yet .. For the most part they are all very nice but not very detail helpful .. My only tidbit is measure everything and know what you are doing or get someone close to you to purchase from or install so they can come look at you site before hand . I will take my responsibility in this to ... I should have got someone professionally to come help figure it out and help with a plan . Oh well Live and learn ... I am excited to be finally ready for them to come install the bldg . ..

The one issue with which I was not satisfied was the 'windstorm certification' . I was under the impression that I would receive the certification when the job was complete. That was not true. When I asked about it I was told that the carport was built to meet the requirements and that I would have to get the certification myself. This should be made clear at the time of purchase because the certification process is difficult once the structure is complete..

Jake was amazing!!! He was extremely patient and helpful! I must have changed my mind a hundred times. We comparison shopped so many different locations for about 30 days. However, the lowest price always came back to what Jake had quoted. Jake clearly knew I was shopping around and he went out his way to give me advice and suggest questions that I should ask as I shopped. The diagrams provided really helped me envision what we wanted and needed. The office let me know exactly when they would come out for the install and the installers arrived right on time. They built our carport and garage together right on site, with impeccable quality. It was amazing to watch. The installers even helped me install a Decor item without hesitation. They where professional and didn't even leave 1 piece of dirt or trash behind. The most amazing thing is the outcome!!! I love love love it!!! I've been recommending Jake and crew to my neighbors!

One of the worst experiences that my wife and I have ever had. We got a 12 x 35 x 12 cover for our RV. And I don't dare to park my RV under it, this thing sways like crazy with very little wind. The install crew never came when they said they were going to come install the cover in the dark left big mess screws everywhere and metal shavings. Tried many times to call manager I told him I need to speak with him they keep giving me run around. I have screws in the cover sticking halfway out, trim is Not secure flopping all over the place in the wind. We are very very unhappy with this whole thing and we even bought an extra panel and more anchors so it's certified for 105 mph wind. There is no way it will hold up in that kind of wind without damaging my RV. This thing has become a very big headache for both me and my wife, and we never got a phone call or email. Daniel Pike was my sales person, Who was very nice, but now the last email I got from him he told me he is out of it. Quality carports who installed my carport said that carport central should've gave me more cross beams and should've let me know more information. Basically quality carports are blooming carport Central, and daniel told me that they didn't do anything wrong on their side. It just goes back-and-forth the blaming game and I'm stuck with a carport that I cannot park my RV under, more than $3700 I am getting ready to write a very big review with all the pictures of the mess they left and the quality service that I received. Also when I spoke with quality car parts they said that the guys cleaned up and finish the job when it was still light outside they did not finish the job until 9:30 PM and I have Surveillance footage of the job being done In the dark The job was promised to be at 1 PM Sunday on Mother's Day, they did not arrive at my house until 5:30 PM with no phone call or anything. All our plans was ruined and I even went to work late and missed some hours because I wanted to make sure they put the carport in the right place. This was a very upsetting experience And we are Looking in on getting this resolved it another way since nobody replies to us.

To whom it concerns. As in your survey states we are very satisfied with your product and service. To go a step further the icing on the cake was the two men that delivered the building. Franisco Rivera and son went over the top to insure all items for us to construct the building were here and many tips on how to do the project. We are a company that is always expanding and will more then likely be calling on you for pricing and advice as well as getting Franisco and company to construct for us. One star rating because I have not received carport yet. Services were very good. Overall sales rating would be a ten. I would like to know when carport will be delivered and can I contact providers to coordinate. Again the sales part was very good and not pushy. When product is delivered and set up I would be glad to complete survey again.

Jake was awesome, very patient . The crew that installed the building was awesome too. There are other buildings in our storage area too, and they don't look anywhere near as nice as this one. Five stars for this crew they did an awesome job !

Worked well with me. Had to put off once as slab wasn't in but was rescheduled no problem. Installation day and the guys were on site around 6:30am and worked all day (raining at times) and had it finished around 5:30pm Looks great. I already guided another customer your way. Thanks Jeff

This was a very drawn out purchase for myself. I think I started this process in March of this year. In April I had to go to Boston Children's and had Open Heart surgery which put things on hold but Tommy stayed with me and checked on my recovery until I felt it was the correct time to get the project done. After my finances fell through Tommy set up financing and we got things finalized. To say did I have a good experience, I would say by today's standards your company is number one! Ryan Griffin is amazing! The sale and superb customer experience can be credited entirely to him. His service was courteous, kind, and efficient, and he is the reason we purchased the building. People like him are few and far between - we would love to work with him on anything! If I could give him triple stars for "above and beyond," I would!!! Superlative!

DAN Q DID A GREAT JOB WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER, BUT IT GOT DAMMAGED DURING TRANSPORT SO I CANCELED THIS ORDER AND LOST MY DEPOSIT OF 441.00 DOLLARS, PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND MAKE SURE IT IS CANCELED, THANKS FOR THE SURVEY.

The contractor sent did not have materials and did not have correct materials and was trying to install steel bldg. anyhow- I had to stop production and now had to wait 3 more weeks for another install date. I wanted compensation for all the inconvenience and was only offered $200. I paid $2500 more going with this company for certifications and reputable company and got this. I'm still waiting on my install.

Buying the carport was a good experience, but was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to deliver and set up.After many conversations with the company that was to deliver and set up and the main company in Carolina the carport was finally delivered and set up 3 MONTHS later! Terrible service but great people that set it up at the house.

the overall building is nice , the only problem I have Is the installers brought 2 buildings on their trailer , and got stuck in my yard bad! and continued to tear up my yard for a few hundred feet with all the extra weight" I thought it was kinda disrespectful to bring somebody else's material on my property and get stuck with all the extra weight , so after he buried it to the frame! he then got out and put his hubs into 4x4 ? and pulled right out? he should have warned me 1st with all the extra weight, & I wouldn't have allowed it to be pulled around back but I was sympathetic and didn't want to see them have to carry it the extra distance from my driveway ,it's what I get for being nice I guess. or maybe put in in 4x4 first!!!! been doing lawn repair for now for 2 weeks what a pain!

I am currently still waiting on the building I ordered. They have called and scheduled a date twice now and cancelled. They seem to have issues with scheduling. I will update if I ever get the building.

i took the scheduled day off work and you were a no show you showed up on a Saturday so i had to stay home AGAIN and you could not complete the job because you did not have the right size side panels. so you scheduled another day to complete the job so i took another day off work and again you were a NO SHOW WTF. so i had to take another day off work . You finally show and complete the work , however i had to babysit the crew because there were so many mistakes , missing screws , bad lap joints overall shoddy work at best.

We were particularly appreciative of Dakota Goss' expertise....he was very familiar with how to configure the building, options available, and articulate about how best to configure our specific structure as it is a little different. Mr. Goss was superbly communicative, contacting us by email and phone as we progressed thru the process. Dakota was particularly patient and helpful as we tweaked the design. Not to overlook the stellar drawings he made for us to help visualize the specific configuration!!! Outstanding experience - Dakota Goss is a living treasure, an asset for Carport Central! I would like to say that working with lee o rouke was a pleasure through out the entire process ,I HAVE BEEN IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS FOR FOURTY YEAR NOW AS THE OWNER OF A GENERAL CONTACTING BUSINESS IN THE DC METRO AREA . I WISH I HAD TWO DOZEN LEES ON MY TEAM. HE IS AN EXCELLENT EMPLOYEE FOR YOUR COMPANY AND I PLAN ON RECOMMENDING HIM TO EVERY ONE I KNOW WHO WILL BE PUTTING UP METAL BUILDING ..

Installation crew did an incredible job and were very respectful, our barn was completed within the 6 weeks promised by carport central and coast to coast was the company that built our barn. Both companies did everything promised and we couldn't be happier with the outcome and our barn
