I purchased a Epox 4PDA2+ motherboard. The ordering process went smoothly and I received the board promptly. However, the board was defective and I emailed(since I work during service hours)asking if they did advanced RMA and got a prompt response that they did. I then emailed back to state I wished to pursue that avenue. I have yet to get a reply in the past 11 days after sending 6 emails. I have no ideas whether I have a new motherboard coming or if there is even an RMA created for this order. I will update if I ever get an RMA, but there communication is definitely lacking.

I have responded to every support email and tried every suggestion contained in said emails.

This is for an order I made in January, 2010. Ordered a hard-to-find power supply from CensusPC. Decided to replace the CPU fan at the same time. No drama. Placed the order and it came. Stuff worked. That's the way it should be.

I was referred to CensusPC by EPoX when I asked where I could pick up the 8RDA+. Having JUST been released, it was somewhat difficult to find the board (NewEgg sold out of their stock in a day). I called CensusPC, and spoke to Henry. Not only was he courteous, he was also intent on making sure I could have my 8RDA+ the same day. HE called ME back to let me know the board was picked up from their warehouse, and OK'd my will-call. I dropped by, paid and picked up the board. No problems since, and I've remained in contact with them. I HIGHLY recommend CensusPC, and will definitely be sure to buy from them in the future for their reliability, quickness, and top-rank service. A+

Ordered item (USB network cable) on October 18th, CensusPC shipped it out October 19th via free UPS ground shipping. 2 days later it's in my hands.

This is the first time I've done business with them, but it won't be the last. ;)

Sent wrong item, lied about stock, lied about ship date, lied about return, 3 week headache and still counting.

1) called before placing order to insure item was in stock and would be shipped in 1 or 2 days. Person on phone confirmed.

2) Recieved email with tracking number stating "order shipped" 1-3-06 9:49pm (ordered at 12:00pm).

3) After no information posted by UPS for the tracking number I called 1-9-06. Was told order was shipped and should be there soon. Spoke directly with "warehouse" to be sure information was first hand.

4) After several more days called back. Was told item was shipped under a different tracking number and that the one i had was a mistake. After checking tracking number discovered that package was not scheduled for ship until the day i called.

5) Item arrived. Had been opened by CensusPC and different color cover was put on to match my order. Cover did not fit, was loose and on/off button got stuck.

6) Company continued to deny any wrongdoing when called. Claimed they did not replace cover inspite of the fact that the package said silver, the inserts were silver, the cover did not fit and the cover was white rather than silver. Did not admit to lying about shipping. Did not admit to mistakenly telling me item was in stock over phone.

7) Somebody called back and said they were going to send me a UPS label to return. Sent by regular mail. Did not recieve until 1-23-06. The pick-up charge was NOT paid in the UPS ship.

Conclusion:
This company may have made an honest mistake in the beginning. Rather than owning their part and giving me the information I needed to build my wife's present they told me lie upon lie about availability and shipping. Knowingly sent me an item i did not order and explicitly told them i did not want. Refused to accept responibility and delayed return. Are trying to make me responsible for pick-up charges by UPS. STILL HAVE MY MONEY.

these people are liars and have no respect for there clients. They have wasted may hours of my time over the three weeks they have dragged this out and I still have not been able to return the item they sent me.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

It is a CRAP SHOOT and when it goes bad, they will do anything to get your money. IT IS NOT A DEAL.

I just purchased my motherboard from them today (8rda+). I must say, this is one of THE best companies to buy your computer parts from. They have great customer/seller communications, (answer all your phone calls, reply to all your emails, and will take walk-ins happily)

I bought the board at a GREAT price, and there were extremely generous and did all they could to make me a happy customer. There shipping rates also are very good but if you are live in Southern California, you can just drive there.

These are the kind of Small Companies America needs to keep open.

Will order from them again just have to find out what :) A+

I placed my first order with them, they were out of stock, and they called me to say so, and to see if I could use anything else. That is great customer service and I will order from them again.

Purchased a Shuttle bare bone athlon 64 (socket 939)and carrying case and they were delivered when expected and packed quite well with lots of insulation to protect the product. Free shipping and free bonus items add a nice touch to already terrific service! I will keep you guys in mind next time.....

It has been 4 days since the original order (2 weekend days) and it still says 'pending' online, the contact phone number rings without answer.

about 20 minutes after original review, received phone call. Cust service rep was very polite, stated that I should have received an out of stock email. Asked him to call back with estimated date of stock, agreed. At end over conversation, asked me to change/remove my review. Agreed to make changes reflecting current status and will keep updating as status changes. Informed reason phone not picked up was that they were not open until 9:30 Pacific. They said they do have a phone answering system and are unsure why it does not pickup

About 30 minutes later, another very polite person called. Item just received in stock today, will get shipped out today. They have upgraded shipping to 2nd day as well. They were very apologetic.

I have received the product as promised on the phone, in the time told. The product is exactly as ordered and works. I feel they have redeemed themselves, including being very apologetic

I ordered the EPoX 8RDA+ from this company since no other store had it in stock. They didn't have it in stock as well, but notified me when they would be available. Order shipped out on the 17th and received it before Christmas. Excellent experience, would definitely order from them again.

Got a new heatsink fan for my dad's stupid low profile Dell 4600c that I couldn't find at any other major online retailer. It was cheaper than what Dell was asking for even with shipping.

The package came very quickly. It would of been nice if it was packed with better/more bubble wrap or packing filler but the item did arrive perfect and undamaged and it works great.

Ordered an EP-9NDA3+ on the 31st of December and had not received a shipping confirmation by the afternoon of the 3rd of January. My call was answered quickly and courteously. Turns out they were closed all day on the 31st and was told that the order would be shipped that afternoon. The order was shipped as advertised. I will buy from them again.

I have already rated this merchant as excellant on the only purchase I have made from them and I don't have the invoice # at this time. They are great.

I bought a 7 in 1 USB 2.0 External Card Reader and it arrived well packed and really fast. I'd buy again.

I bought a very hard to find Biostar TV Out Cable for only $9, shipping was free.

recieved my epox 8rga+, gainward gf4 ti4200 golden sample, xp 2200+, 2x512MB PC3500... bad mb! but fortunately their RMA/tech-support service is excellent. wasn't happy about the issue but i guess i can't blame them. kudos on the service quickness! will probably buy from them in the future.

I e-mailed them to see if they had the Epox 8RDA+ in stock and got a response quickly. The order was processed and shipped quickly too. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

A power supply in one of my old HP's went out and i wanted to order the same one for consistency. So, I ordered the Bestec ATX-300-12Z BD for the HP. However, I was sent the ATX-300-12Z BC. The two power supplies are basically the same thing, just a different revision of it. I called censusPC about the error and they basically said its the same thing so there is no error. The BD and the BC revisions are the same, so they did no wrong. I have issues with this because i think when one orders a product they should get that product, not a similar alternative. I have no problem with using the one they sent, but it would have been nice to get a email notice that explained that the one I order wasn't in or couldn't be sent and asked if it was okay to send the alternative. This is a very shady business practice, in which, I am basically stuck with a product a did not order regardless of how similar it is. All in all, I don't know if i would ever order from them again based on this switch without notice.
