I paid extra in order to receive my camera in 4 to 5 days rather than the 9 or 10 which is free. The tracking information at UPS indicates Ground delivery to arrive 9 days after my order date(8/24/2010, Delivery 9/02/2010). The order took 3 days to process which is too long and then is shipped by ground which is too slow to arrive at the promised time. Not a huge deal but annoying when really looking forward to receiving a new toy.

I placed my order for a new camera and some accessories on September 22. To my surprise, my order arrived on September 24, much quicker than I had expected. It came with a free camera case and tripod. The camera and other accessories that I purchased were exactly as I had ordered and for the best price that I could find. Central Digital has earned my business for the future!

I was a little leery of the price shown on the website due to it being several hundred dollars lower than anyone else for the same product. I called and spoke with Kyle,I think his ext. is 103. The camera (Canon 1D Mark IV) arrived with in one week and was absolutely brand new as advertised and they even had a screaming deal on the extended MACK warranty. I could not be happier. There was some attempt at up selling but nothing forceful or out of line like I have experienced before. I would buy from them again without question. Thank you very much Kyle!

Placed an order for canon 1400IS on 24-Oct'10, it said 7-10 business days..order received on 26-Oct'10!!!!..awesome service with prices 10% below anyone...v v satisfied! along with the camera, they also included some freebies like a tripod, camera cover, and starter kit, and screen protectors...am coming back for sure!

I was very surprised to have received my order 2 days after placing it. I read some of the buyers reviews, decided to take a chance and everything turned out perfect. I received a factory fresh/boxed product packaged in a Central Digital box. That is the best way to go and I would heartily recommend your online store to others.

Was not really sure about this Seller, but tried anyway since C.D. had the best online price for my Canon EOS 50d. After placing the order, received an e-mail to please contact the seller concerning "confirming the ship to address".
Was a bit suspicious when I called in and after 10 minutes wait time got a little of the "addtl. selling item" game.
Honestly, I can't blame C.D. for trying. The price for the Camera is very competitive, so there will have to be some addtl. revenues to come in from somewhere. The conversation went fine and after 5 minutes was told, that I got a great Camera here and item will ship asap.
Received e-mail confirmation that item shipped 2 days later and got it via UPS yesterday.
Great item, brand new US model (as advertised), everything
was in the box that was supposed to be there.
Overall a very pleasant experience and I certainly will order
from Central Digital again.

I ordered Canon 580 II EX FLASH - I didn't get any receipt in my email. Next business day I'm getting a call - suggested to get Battery charger DC-RMC for 13$, I agreed. Next day I see a charge of 37$ more than I expected. I called them back, got three call transfers - finally I reached the sales guy and asked to remove the charger from my order and send me confirmation letter in my email.. - didn't get. On 22 of October I received my flash including and the charger (they charged 50$ for it)..

Overall a good experience, great price with fast shipping, the only thing was that I didn't get a conformation email until monday (ordered on Sat), it had the tracking info. Not a big deal, I was just expecting an automatic email confirming my purchase. I would purchase with them again.

Ordered a Pioneer VSX-33 Elite online with 3-5 day shippping (which costs extra) on 1/13, received e-mail confirmation (with no receipt). Three days later 1/16 I received an e-mail that I must call to confirm my order. Called and was told that my order could only ship ground and would take 7-10 days with no indication that I would be receiving a refund on the extra shipping cost that I paid for. I mention to the sales associate that I had paid for 3-5 day shipping and he told me that it was going out "express ground". He never gave me the price total, and hurried me off the phone. Later I recieved an e-mail that my item had shipped (no receipt again), with a UPS tracking number. It was sent out regular UPS ground. I won't get it until 01/24. I feel this is a bait and switch on the shipping cost. Interstingly enough--my credit card has still not been charged so I can't see the total. Fortunately I printed the total when I placed to order on their web site. I will be extremely suprised if my order price was reduced to reflect the ground shipping cost. I suspect however that the price will either remain the same, or perhaps even increase in their favor.

I ordered a Canon 60D from CentralDigital for $999, which was $100 cheaper than anyone else. Given the experience I am about to recount, I now know why. I was contacted by "Michael" asking me to call and verify my order. Since I am a new customer and it was a somewhat large purchase, I understood and called back, though I was put on hold for a while.

Michael seemed nice enough, telling me what a great camera the 60D was, etc. He asked me if I needed any batteries (which I did). He quoted me a "super sale" price of $69, which for an OEM Canon LP-E6 was a fair price, so I said OK. I also told him I needed a 58mm UV filter. He told me he had a "great deal" on a 3-pack of filters (UV, Circular polarizer and flourescent) for $69. I honestly had no idea what filters cost. I figured I was getting a great deal on the camera. Even if their prices on these accessories was a 10% or so more than from other dealers, no big deal. When I finally got the items last week and checked the prices, the prices on the accessories were not 10% or so higher, they were 340% higher:

To hide the shady deal they gave me, they did not give me an itemized invoice. They invoiced the camera at $1139.93 instead of $999 and included the filters and battery as zero-dollar line items.

I realized I should have gotten clarification on the exact battery and filter they were going to ship me, but nobody deserves to be ripped off this badly.

I ordered an item on September 6th. I made 3 phone calls in the weeks of Sept 12. And it wasn't until the 17th that I was told that the package was lost. I called the USPS with the order info, and it was NEVER received into their system.

The "supervisor" named Steve told me that the package was going to get reshipped and sent UPS 3 day air.

I then received a call back stating they needed to wait for the package to come back before they would reship.

I buy thousands of dollars worth of electronics a year for myself and others as gifts and I'm always looking for the best deal. Sometimes you have to pay a little extra to get good serivce. This is where this company failed. Thanks to Steve specifically, I will NEVER use this company again.

I had got the best price (~$1950) for a Canon 5D Mark II and selected purchasing from this site cause the reseller reviews for this site was good. I got the product that I ordered on time, no problems with the order, I looked @ the charge that's been charged on the credit, they've charged me the updated price of the product. Really felt bad after seeing that. I've raised a concern to dispute a charge with the credit card company. Waiting to hear from Central Digital on what they have to state regarding this, before I proceed with this. I've revisit my review once I hear from Customer Service.

So I get transferred to customer service and speak to the manager in charge, he was able to resolve the issue for me. There was some misunderstanding on the price listed. I'll surely shop from this site again but document the whole process next time.

I purchased Canon T2i after doing extensive research online in terms of quality and price.
I’ve finally purchased it from Central Digital because of the rations on Google.com and the low price they advertized. They asked me to call the customer service to varify so I did after I placed an order online and paid for it.

When I called, They told me the battery that comes with the camera only lasts for thirty mintues and told me that if I purchase a battery now with the order, I’ll get 50% off. Thinking that it’s not a bad deal, I stupidly purchased it which I paid $149 for it.. that was 50% off price. He first convinced me that there is 2 hour, 4 hour, 6 hour batteries.. so I went with four hour... not knowing it doesn’t really go by hours... it’s by amps.

Then I checked online to see which one I’ll be getting... for that much money, I thought I’ll be getting canon battery so I checked cannon... No battery that costs over $200.

Then about then days later, I received my camera with the battery... so I checked online with sku number, by brand description... I even checked the manufacturer’s site. The exact same battery costs $ 8.95 on Amazon.com The most expensive I saw was about $25. For two packs or with packanges you can still buy them for $35 max.

I called the customer service to return the battery... And they said I can’t because I purchased it as a package. They said I have to return the whole shipment including my camera and they’ll deduct $150 as a restocking fee... They started taking about the same thing the sales person told me about this battery before.. how they put in special chips in this one so it’s different from others... So much BS and lies... I asked him if they actually sell this battery for $300 in their store.. and he said no... So they lied to me when they sold me the battery.
I simply want to return the battery and I pay for the shipping and I get my money back for the battery...
And they said it’s impossible. After wasting my time talking on the phone for nearly two hours, They promise to give me extended warranty that I never purchase with any electronics because they are BS. And $60 back. I’ll trust their words when I have money in my account and get that warranty paper..
I took their offer only because I was so tired of saying the same thing that I want my money back for the battery the way I received it.. and didn’t want to waste time writing official letters to so many government agents for that much money... However, what they are doing is not ethical and consumers have right to know before they use this company.

They mentioned they will be closed for holidays from Wednesday to Saturday and they will be processing all orders placed during this time, on Sunday. YES, as they promised they send tracking number on Sunday and item is delivered on Tuesday even for the free shipping option (~7 business days)

I was sceptical at first but was glad that I purchased my GPS from Central Digital. After shopping around for the best deals online I came across their site, offering the same GPS for $60 cheaper than the competition. I couldn't pass up this deal since they were also offering a nice case and screen protectors for free. I also purchased a 4 year extended warranty for only $30, also a great deal. I paid the extra $15 to receive within 3-5 days of shipping. I placed the order on a Friday. Since I registered on the site I could track the progress of my order. By Sunday it said the order was processed and getting ready for shipment. On Tuesday (Monday was a Holiday)I received an email saying the order has been shipped and had tracking number. I received my GPS on Thursday, only 2 days! The case that came with it is very nice, soft lining on the inside, plenty of room for accessories. The screen protectors didn't fit my GPS, probably since it had a 5" screen. I'm sure it would fit the other models with smaller screens. Everything was much better than expected, would buy from again.
