First I didn't ordered to keep my item safe with you. Delay in Orders with stupid reason.
My gf used watch I ordered from this website and 1 month of normal use. (not been used under water) it has water inside, even the watch is water resistant. I believe some watches are fake even they claim it's new and authentic. I will suggest not to invest money buying from this website. I sent emails to customer service (Sally), she sent one reply with general information and no further support.
Please don't waste your time, money and energy from buying this website. Online shopping from this website is scam and not satisfactory. All the best Sally, keep filling your pockets..

My experience with city watches has been a great one not only were they quick in communicating but the processing of my order was really fast.I cannot fault their courier service (DHL) super fast with the best tracking system I have seen in ages.Once again I am very impressed with their service and would deal with them again without hesitation

Online transactions can be worrying.
There is absolutely no need to worry when it comes to the team at 'Citywatches' though. My experience has been nothing short of pleasant, informative, timely, and organised. My order was well packaged and arrived sooner than I expected.

I highly recommend you do not buy from this company.

If anything goes wrong with your watch they will not cover it (despite what they may reply to this review). Trust me I have been through this long process.

The company is not in any way related to New Zealand (they are based in Singapore). They own similar companies in Australia and the United Kingdom (to name a few) that are also based out of Singapore. You will also find reviews of other people having the same problems as me at citywatches.co.uk, downunderwatches.co.au, and creationwatches.com.

Essentially this means that the NZ consumer guarantees act has little jurisdiction over them if your watch breaks and they refuse to refund/fix/replace it.

I only had my watch for 5-6months before it broke and they refused to help. It was also a watch that I hardly ever wore and it is supposed to be known as very tough (possibly not real then?). Responses to emails generally take over a week. Eventually, they offered a mere $10usd refund for a much more expensive watch.

This company may also state that their watches also have a manufacturer warranty along with their own warranty (that they don't stick by). Beware, if you go into your watch brand's service centre to claim this warranty, they will decline to fix it under the manufacturer's warranty because citywatches.co.nz is not an authorised dealer of any watch brand.

I respect other people who have had positive experiences, however, in those cases, they are lucky to have not been sent a faulty watch. This review is a warning that if you do get sent a faulty watch or it breaks within the warranty period, citywatches.co.nz will not take any responsibility for it.

I'm sure this review will get some sort of generic response trying to defend themselves. Please just don't risk buying from them or you could lose a decent amount of money if something goes wrong.

If you do get into trouble with them, dispute the transaction with your bank and they will arrange to credit you and for citywatches bank to debit them. This worked for me and I got my money back.

I ordered last week and that time delivery date was 21st feb however i received mail today that my order is refunded and it will take 10 days time to show up in my bank account, but i don't know why they cancel the order i haven't made any order cancelation requests, very bad experience.

I would recommend this site, it is user friendly and they kept me up to date with shipping details. So I felt very confident using this site. The package was well packed so traveled well.A five star rating which is well deserved

Worst company ever to purchase from buyer beware!!! These guys are real fly-by-nighters who deal in Casio watches of very questionable quality. First of all note that despite their .co.nz web suffix, THEY ARE NOT a kiwi based company. Secondly, when my watch broke down literally 3 days after the year warranty they claim to provide, they wanted nothing to do with it, despite their obligations under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act. Stay well clear of purchasing from this company!

My experience purchasing a watch at CityWatches was very good. The watch price was good, it was well packaged and arrived in good condition. CityWatches provided propompt email feedback following ordering online and the DHL courier provided good tracking of the package progress and delivery.

Purchased a Fossil watch from City Watches, which turned out to be faulty 2 months later.
Upon contacting them, I was advised to bring the watch to my local Fossil repair agent, which I did.
I received a $100 repair quote as City Watches is not an authorised Fossil reseller.
City Watches refused to pay for repair or replacement of a brand new watch.
It's better to spend a bit more and get a fully supported watch elsewhere.

I ordered a watch as a christmas present.. recieved an email saying order is complete and ready for shipping..this was two days ago.. recieved an email today saying the watch is out of stock.. and no one after tat has been replying back to me.. what do i do now? I have no help watsoever..

I have ordered Seiko watch and trust me it is the most beautiful piece i have got, arrived in 5 days and in a very good packaging and genuine as well, highly recommend others to buy from City watches.

I was impressed with the time it took from ordering the watch until it arrived here in NZ - in fact 2 days earlier than anticipated. Also pleased with the watch too !

However, not so impressed with your sales service !! I emailed Citywatches twice asking questions about this purchase and as yet had absolutely no response. That is not good !

Exceptional service! I didn't expect to receive my order so promptly - express delivery indeed!
There are items that I ordered locally that Im still waiting for & orders were placed well before this one.
Was happy with the product, it came well packaged.

Ordered Friday, arrived the next Saturday. Singapore to NZ in just over 7 days. Can see how things could go wrong with the amounts of product these guys shift all over the world, but my experience has been awesome. Will use again.

Called and emailed citywatches sent them my drivers licence to show my signature and until now i have been waiting for 2weeks but nothing no update from them.

If your looking for a branded watch, then City watches have it. You can have confidence in buying, I do and that's why Ill be back to buy more.

This organization is incredible. I ordered my watch Tuesday 26 January and it was delivered Monday 1 February and the tracking of the package by DHL let me follow the progress of my new watch almost hourly from when I placed the order until it arrived on my doorstep.

Fast and smooth checkout process. Shipping took a bit longer than expected, but understandable during the pandemic. Item arrived as described and came with warranty card. The package was well packed with bubbles wrap and foams.
