Coldwater Creek

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Ordered Sept 4. It is now Dec 7 and not product delivery or email update despite my emailing and asking for information. When I call I am told "oh, it is now going to ship next month". Then I do get an email saying they are working on improving communication. Can't tell it from me. And still no product in hand.

Stay Away! They may be filing bankruptcy since waiting for my refund for 8 weeks!
My work wardrobe in the past was from CWC so I tried again. Horrible clothing - nothing like what they used to be.
Also, they steal your money. I returned over $215 worth of clothing using their return label and tracking shows they received on 8/3/22. On 8/24/22 I called asking where refund was and was told will take an additional 14 days under expedited processing - what about from 8/3 the actual day they received the merch? I called back on 9/9/22 and was told that it should hit my account within 5 business days!
Updated 9/29/22: on 9/11/22 received a letter from CWC that they refunded money to my CC and on 9/28 I called again since my CC still doesn't have the $$! I started a dispute through my CC since it has been 8 weeks and I believe CWC is going bankrupt and has no intention of refunding my money for merchandise I returned on 8/3/22!

I have placed 2 orders this year. Each order only had 2 items. Both times one item was canceled for not being available. I understand when they have a sale that their stock goes quickly. In this day and age of nanosecond computer technology I would think they would use a system that was more reliable. Love their clothes, not their online system.

I was a long time customer of the original Coldwater Creek - the "new" Coldwater Creek is a disaster. Incredibly skimpy/frumpy inventory, horrendeous customer service and ridiculous shipping fees. I ordered several layering tees - they arrived with HOLES in them. Called customer service to return the defective items, and was told that there would be no relief from the shipping charges. They still haven't refunded my credit card and it's been a month since I shipped them back.

Sizing is inconsistent - if you wore a medium in the original Coldwater Creek, be prepared to order a large or even extra large just to get a garment that will button over your bust or fit your arms.

I placed an order on 7/30 in the morning. The catalog said to enter a code and I would get free shipping if over $75. I did and clicked apply and it said the code had been applied but it did not remove the shipping. I called Customer Service and was told that sometimes it took off the shipping and sometimes it did not. That makes no sense. They said to go ahead and complete the order and if my shipping was not removed to call them back and they would take it off. I called them back and was told that the order had not come through yet but when it did they would take off the shipping and send a confirmation email. That did not happen and I had to call back two more times to finally get the shipping removed. I have sent an email to them expressing my dissatisfaction and have heard nothing. Why was my shipping not removed at the time of the order. And why did I have to call 3 times to get this taken care of. I will not be ordering any more from Coldwater Creek.

I had shopped at Coldwater Creek before the current owners purchased it, when it still had stores, and I had always been very happy with my purchases. I recently ordered 8 items from Coldwater Creek online -- and that's when the story changed.

I had trouble with the site not accepting the "no shipping charge" code so I called to straighten that out. I was told to call the next day after the items had shipped, so I called the next day -- to be told that when the back-ordered items shipped, they'd take care of it.

Back-ordered items?? Everything was in stock when I hit the "buy" button . . . but the customer rep assured me that it was just the tee-shirts and they'd ship in a few days.

Hmm. I checked my e-mail, and there was a confirmation of my purchases -- saying that THREE items were on back-order. The "few days" for the tee-shirts were in 2 weeks, and the third item wasn't scheduled to ship until after 3 weeks.

So I called back, and we went round and round for a while; the customer rep disappeared several times on hold but after 30-40 minutes the back orders were canceled and the shipping charge removed. So all was well, and I settled down to wait for delivery.

The delivery was in good time, everything was nicely packed, and it was all horrible. All of it. One drape-neck shell was made from a really greasy, smarmy material; another one felt and looked like it was made from a cheap, thin, poor-quality undershirt. A draped cardigan had sleeves down past my knuckles. The trousers were labeled with the correct size but they certainly weren't cut to that size.

There was one (1) item that was made from good material -- a dress. Nice color, lovely feel, well-made, and dowdy as heck. Just awful proportions. The neckline was too tight, the skirt was too long, and it made me look like I was wearing my grandmother's clothes. It could have been a darling little summer dress -- but it wasn't. Oh, man, it wasn't.

I am VERY disappointed! I'm not wasting my time with them again.

I received the latest edition of the Coldwater Creek catalog advertising a certain type of jeans a couple of days ago, with three different washes (light, medium, dark). I looked online today and the jeans I want in my size are only available in the light wash. I have found that the Coldwater Creek website is sometimes incorrect re: the inventory. When I called Coldwater Creek today and asked to speak with a supervisor, I was repeatedly put off by the customer service representative, who said I had to give her the information before I was transferred to a supervisor, and after I pushed it, she tried to get a supervisor three times but couldn't, and she wasn't able to stay on the phone (even though I was willing to wait), she couldn't give me the corporate office phone number per my request (but did offer to provide an email address), and she said that Coldwater Creek doesn't have a backorder date for the jeans in the washes that I want. All of this took place over half-an-hour, which is way too long. I am extremely disappointed in Coldwater Creek; the company seems extremely disconnected and fractured.

Called & asked the GARMENT measurements on a long nightgown just now (11-20-17 @ 4:10 pm). CCC customer svc. woman gave the body measurements, 44-46". I repeatedly asked her for GARMENT measurement, which is ONE measure- not a range of inches. She kept lying, saying the GARMENT size was 44-46". I told her that if she didn't know to please tell me. Her answer was rude, sharp, and WRONG. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT CAN'T TELL THE TRUTH TO CUSTOMERS WHO PAY SHIPPING/RETURN FEES WHEN THE ITEM THEY ORDERED DOESN'T FIT!

I have not ordered from Coldwater in many years and should have paid heed to the customer service warnings. I have note received my order after 3 weeks and company will not respond to email messages. When called they said they can only help once an item is delivered. How in the world does that work? then they stated that i need to trace the item, it isn't their responsibility. I asked to speak to a manger- he "was not available." They did say they would trace the package ($350 items worth) but i will not order from there again.

I received what I thought was my order but when I opened the package, instead of the 4 tops and 1 jeans I ordered the package contained 2 size 4P jeans - not my size! I called customer service immediately and was told they would have to investigate and someone would call back in 5-7 days. They told me not to return the wrong items until someone contacted me. After further thought on the matter I decided to send a followup email. No response to the email after two days, so I called customer service again. I was told that I had to return the wrong items before they would issue a refund even thought this is in no way my fault. Yes, my credit card was charge $263.80! I have none of my order and who knows how long it will take to get my money back. Is this company a fraud, running a scam?????

Coldwater creek looks all classy but the three linen pieces- two “big” shirts ( short and boxy both although supposedly different) and pants are cheap looking and feeling. Honestly here in Florida you can get better linen in Walmart. Don’t be fool d by high prices ( for online) and gloss. Very chintzy. One of joys of nobody looking you in the eye. Bought a Tercel tunic in fall that was cute but these summer clothes are poorly designed and of highly inferior “linen”.

Some weeks ago I ordered the red chenille Christmas sweater and received a beige jacket instead. I phoned CC and was sent the correct sweater. On 12/2/19, I ordered 3 sweaters. I received someone elses order once again and no sweaters. I talked to someone at CC and they refunded the $ for the red sweater I already have.!! I no longer want the 3 sweaters as this is sooo difficult.
May I just have the difference between my orders refunded?
