I have only recently purchased the breakdown cover so have not experienced the actual rescue side as yet, hopefully won’t have to, but I hope they perform as stated on the literature. The purchase was easy and straightforward.

Fortunately we did not breakdown during our 2500 mile trip through France, so can't really comment on the service we would have received.
In terms of obtaining the cover, I was happy how easy to purchase & have it downloaded onto my mobile devices which meant not having to print loads of paperwork off. The cost of the the cover we required was very competitive & gave us peace of mind to have cover.

We received excellent help from the breakdown cover during our month traveling to Spain. Helped us out on two occasions that we broke down. Organised a taxis home when we broke down coming off the ferry late in the evening. We would recommend them and will use them again.
Only thing that could be better is a call back to confirm the progress of a call out, as sometimes we had to call them back, be on hold a long time, to check what was happening. Otherwise a great service.

Excellent customer service from call handler and recovery vehicle driver. Initially there was an error in my details regarding my address, but the call handler apologised and efficiently corrected. Thank you to her and recovery driver, as I have never broken down before and they made a very stressful situation much better.

Well after two years , I had to call CBC, as my car had a flat battery, this would be OK in normal circumstances - however I was camping in a field !!! and we had just had a massive storm so the ground was a bit on the soggy side.
I put my call in and less than an hour later my car was purring like a ***** cat.
Fantastic service, lovely call centre personnel, and many thanks to the Gent that gave my car a jump start. We are now home and dry .
I will continue to use CBC, great value for money.

I experienced a slow puncture whilst on holiday in France, so all I wanted them to do was to contact a tyre centre and ensure that they had a suitable tyre in stock (my French is almost non-existent),
Originally I was put on hold and it took over 30 minutes for someone to start taking details. He then had to pass me to another team so another period of that lovely on-hold music.
Promises were made to call me back after lunchtime, but at 5pm I called back to find out that nothing had happened. This was then escalated and all sorted within 10 minutes, but the end to end process took most of the day.

Sorry but I can't recommend this company based on my experience - maybe it would have been better if i had actually broken down?

Sadly, after several non eventful European motorbike tours, I actually had to use my breakdown cover on the most recent one. Overall I was very happy with the service.

The only negative point is that the recovery driver was exactly that, a recovery driver, who had no instruction or intention of attempting a roadside repair. This was doubly frustrating as I'd already identified the problem and could easily fix it myself if a couple of simple tools were brought out. Instead I was told my bike would have to be stored until Monday (it was a Saturday) when it could be taken to a garage for repair.

Thankfully, after much begging and pleading in my very basic Spanish the driver agreed to bend the rules slightly and take us to a place that would be open - a Spanish KwikFit type of place. 30 mins later we'd fixed the issue and our bike tour was back on!

So overall, very pleased with the efficient call centre, both the initial call taker and the lady in the overseas team - both were polite, professional and seemed to know what they were doing. Worst case scenario I was told they'd pay for an extra night at my hotel. Grateful to the recovery driver for relenting and the Spanish garage boss who welcomed three dozy Brits into his garage and was only too pleased to help (he refused any payment).

Start to finish we were back on the road in well under 3hrs, which isn't bad going at all.

I'll be using the same policy for future tours now that it's tried and tested!

I have given 4 star rating because I have not at to use there service by calling them out to a breakdown so far, but I was pleased with the service online

As I was able to bag a further year at the same level of cover as before, but at a saving of more than £5, I am obviously perfectly happy with that!

I cannot say at present - I have not had to use the service yet!! However when I do I will then be able to make an informed comment. Please note it is many years since I called my insurance company for help.

Second year with CBC - even after shopping around the cover they offer is extremely comprehensive at a very competitive price.

I have given a 3 star due to it being an insurance and as I have not used the service and hope not have to I don't have any experience of the quality of service. I am very happy with the transaction and the terms and features.

Poor service received as broke down in France, pick up could not be located which was big enough for my vehicle and ended up having to source and locate a mechanic myself, so there was no point in me taking out this breakdown cover, as you was not able to recover my vehicle

The assistance I got on the phone was really good, however I had to wait 2 hours before anyone came, this was just over 30 minutes after the ETA. Also it turns out my tyre was fitted on wrong. So overall the service on the phone from CBC was great, the local people they sent out to get me were awful!

I called at 07:30, and was given an estimated arrival time of 08:30. Actual arrival time was 08:50.

The mechanic efficiently changed my wheel and got me moving,
