Booked a holiday with both of you within a week, ready for 2020

Good enough, not enough information on the confirmation receipt saying we have to wait 10 days before the holiday date

I have been a customer with Cotswolds Hideaways (previously Jigsaw Holidays)
for a number of years and am completely satisfied with their service.

I booked a cottage with them again yesterday with the complete transaction completed online and their prompt response from my inital booking request to
paying the final balance took less than ten minutes to complete, very impressive!

The booking process was ok, although booking 4 dogs required me to select both "3 dogs" and "1 dog" (rather than having the number of dogs in the drop-down). In the booking I asked for a floor plan, but had no response. When I asked again I was simply sent a text description of the bedrooms which I'd already seen on the website. Since I was asked in the booking to decide which rooms should be twins and which double I need to know how the rooms are laid out (to make sure children are close to parents, etc.)

I have an outstanding enquiry about the distance from the property I'm renting, Nellie's Barn to the nearest pub, the Black Horse at Naunton. I have been advised 10 minutes walk, however Google maps shows it as 35 minutes! I have asked for an explanation of the route that takes 10 minutes i.e. is there a short cut across fields? I have not heard anything back.

I had to cancel a previous booking to upgrade to a two bedroom cottage and a quick phone call to Cotswold's Hideaways my new booking was in place thanks to Katrina as such we are looking forward to our break at Christmas.

I can not fault the service we recently received fromCotswolds hideaways. Our cottage was flooded 2 days before our planned stay and they immediately made us aware, supported us in finding a suitable alternative and made the transition so easy! Would I use them again, definitely.

I have booked a holiday for November, I got the agency on the phone and they were very helpful! I am looking forward to it !

The house suited our family of 9 adults and 2 young children very well with lots of social space and a big kitchen/diner to accommodate everyone. On the whole the bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate (not a great deal of storage) although the attic room with reduced head height was not good as we couldn’t stand up straight except in the middle, which also applied to the en suite, and the double bed in that room was too narrow for 2 adults comfortably. All the bed linen was nice quality cotton but we all prefer feather/down duvets to man-made fibre which gets very hot. The other beds were quite hard so next time we come we shall bring our own duvets. The welcome food supplies were lovely, local produce although we never found the eggs. Thank you though to the owners who have put a lot of thought into providing an excellent home from home feel.

Fairly good overall but for such a large sum as deposit on a holiday home for 14, it would have been better to have had more than 48 hours to pay the deposit.

We have discovered that this business has SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that this business handles your data, such as personal information or credit card details, with secure connection. We found that the domain for this business is older than two years which could be an indication that this is a trustworthy business with an established customer base and experience in their field. We found that this business has an Instagram page, where they communicate with their customers using images and videos. This is usually an indication that the business has some visual aspects that it wants to showcase.
