The first time I've ever had to use them...my daughter waited OVER 3 HOURS, no explanation, she was told one hour then not given any further information, so from 6 till after 9 pm she waited and waited. I shall never use this company again. The operator was really helpful, but what appalling service

Standard waiting time is claimed to be 1:5 to 2 hours. In practice far longer. They left a disabled, diabetic single lady sitting on the hard shoulder of a busy motorway intersection from 10.30pm until 1.45am. Then the next day from 1.11pm until 4.15. I made a formal complaint that day, nearly 3 weeks ago and have not heard anything since.
They may be very cheap, but they are worse than useless.
Avoid.
Only left one star as I had to

I found this cover useless, Iwas stuck on a very busy rounderbout for 2hours even as I was supposed to be a priority I am 76 and eventually the police turned up to see if I was ok but by then I was freezing cold and upset they managed to start my car and took me home to make sure I was ok.Thankyou you lovely police.I tried numerous times to get hold of Cover my breakdown but to no avail I was put on to a recorded message saying all lines were busy I don’t rate this firm at all.

I renew my membership every year, though I have only used the service once and that was a few years ago, the service I received
was first rate, hence the reason for renewing for peace of mind because you never know when your going to need a great service.

It took close to 1/2 hour to get through on the support line. Once the call was picked up the service was good.

The various levels of coverage were made clear at the outset, for example I didn't select 5* because I would never contemplate requiring European cover, but It would have been helpful if the coverage for Republic of Ireland had been made clear as, living in N Ireland, this was important and so I had to ask for clarification, which I got confirmation of within 2 days.

I have renewed for my second year. Not had to use yet, so I can't comment on service. Renewal went through ok although the the price was a little higher than I was happy with. This was rectified, so I went ahead

This was so quick and easy all done in 5 mins good value for money compared to a lot of the large companies and covers you for so much more.

I have been a member of this company for a number of years, and have had to use them three times, once in Birmingham and twice in East Anglia. Every time the service has been wonderful. I have never had to wait longer than an hour, and when help arrives they are ready for recovery (no waiting for a second vehicle). The level of cover available is unbeatable at three times the price!! All in all ***I LOVE THIS COMPANY***
as an ex RAC and AA member I can't praise them highly enough (Thanks covermybreakdown)

If you go to the website the 4 start cover is £32.95. However, if you are an existing customer and go to renew the same policy comes up as £42! These companies that try and rip you off for being loyal really annoy me! £42 is still relatively cheap but I'll be making a lot more effort at looking elsewhere next year.

Disgraceful/ Disgusting service AVOID
Had a breakdown on 4/12/19 reported it late afternoon, after 90 minutes called me back saying they could not find an agent to send out and try to fix it or tow the car.
Was with my wife and daughter in the car freezing cold, had to leave the car and make our way home on our own. The car is still there. Have instructed my solicitor to deal with it as I have all the conversation with Tom recorded on my daughter’s phone and will be filling a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

I needed to get my wife cover as I had a job overseas nov 2019 so decided upon this shower. The car wouldn’t start due to flat battery, a local contractor came out and jump started it, great. Sadly this is where things went wrong. After driving it round for 10 mins as contractor suggested it was back on the drive. Next day dead. CoverMyBreakdown weren’t coming back out, no way. My wife called me, and I called them, now way Jose. My mate bought a new battery and fitted it. Bingo she fired up, and was used for a few days. Then one day, no start. This time dash lights are on and car is turning over trying to start but won’t. Called the shower again and they’re saying it’s the same fault, now way Jose. So I emailed Adrienne who replied to people who left proper reviews. I included original fault report and a receipt for new battery. Waste of space, stay clear and get a decent breakdown policy. Research it properly. I was rushing. Never again it’s important. Oh yeah the girl I spoke to was rude also.

Called them on New Year’s Eve and had someone out in an hour. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix the problem but sent someone out on 2nd to take it to a garage for me.

I was so impressed with them and found them professional, quick and communication was great. I would recommend them highly.

Hi

I bought cover for my son in 2018 and he was allowed for 6 callouts. He did use three and the response time was excellent within 30-45 minutes they were there with him and now this year I shall renew for him and will do mine as well. Very well done. Keep it up guys.
