All buyers be very aware, once deposit is paid there is no going back. No matter what the reason is even if it involves the worst news concerning health. This company do not care about customers at all.

I was having a crocodile garage door but thay have shown no interest in quoting me a price. Now having seen there reviews on the internet, this will not be happening. I don't want to be ripped off with an inferior products at in flatbed prices.

I had crocodile garage doors fitted 4 years ago. It is a double garage and we were persuaded that we should have 2 doors fitted but only 1 motor to control both doors. The mechanism broke down and so I phone and asked for some advise i was offered a visit by an engineer the cost for him just to turn up was £285 plus Vat and then any work that he did would be extra. We were again persuaded that we needed an external handle to open the doors at a cost of £60. A new handle was sent and when I tried too use it the garage doors were so heavy that the UJ broke. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CROCODLE FOR ANY GARAGE DOORS.

Sale pressure on your own home. Quoted £4295 for a roller single garage door. Installation guys excellent. Did their job, tidied up and everything looked very nice .Within 3 months of installation minor marks and scratches appeared on inner door panel. Now deep widespread scratches on almost all panels. Crocodiles tells us scratches caused by collection of dust and debris and nothing can be done apart from regular washing the doors. How can any door collect so much debris to cause such damage. I would not recommend their roller garage door products to anyone. I rate their after sale customer support 0.

Their service snaps shut after sale is done. Door went down never came up , just stopped working. Apparently it was our fault , we used it incorrectly. Open close I can't see incorrectly in that. Ask about the call out fee before accepting any work , £100 s on top of the work. . It's a franchise each one different .

We gave crocodile doors a real headache with our patio door as it had an electric cat flap which had a canopy sticking outwards . The engineers arrived ,studied the job and just got on with it ! They built the door out and the door had a hole cut into it . The pre cut hole was slightly out of line but they came back the following week and fitted a few new sections .... perfect !!? happy cats ? . They did not want any money until they had finished the job to my satisfaction . Excellent fitting team and professional and courteous office staff .... would recommend Crocodile to anybody !!

Honestly this has probably been the worst experience of my life. It starts will lying sales people - I had the odious Mike Power. It goes downhill from there. Appalling workmanship and threats regarding payment even before the works are complete. Avoid at all costs.

Came to offer a quote - had to sit through a presentation first and listen to a very cocky, know it all 90’s double glazing salesman. Price started £3200, after a little negotiation it dropped to £2900...then £2700 providing accepted by the following day (month end so desperate for sales figures). They called in the morning and it drop to £2400 to which I rejected as still massively over priced. Their office then called and it dropped to £2150. Absolute Con-Artists. It’s a Dutch auction with these guys...the price keeps on dropping. Best yet, a week or so later, the office called me to confirm the order I had apparently “placed”. Fraudulent and untrustworthy DO NOT RECOMMEND

I should have checked the reviews before accepting. I didn’t. The Rep came with an over inflated price (around £2000) in comparison to a local dealer. Furthermore, he provided the wrong information about how the doors will be fitted. Plus, they wouldn’t take the old doors away. After reporting it to the office, the price came down to match my second quote. I gave a deposit. When the engineers came his explanation of how he will fit the doors we’re quite the opposite to the Rep. Since I have already sent a deposit, I complained to the engineer who agreed to take the old doors away at no cost. I would not recommend Crocodile purely because of the over inflated quote of the Rep and misinformation about installation. Find another dealer.

I thought Crocodile were coming to give me a quote, the sales manager (“salesman on holiday, I have the power to make financial decisions about price”) thought he was coming to make a sale, his words when I said I would not sign anything today. The price for a single door dropped from £3500 to£2750 to £2250 but only if I signed today. He would have gone lower but I was adamant that I wanted another quote and would not buying today. I had to sign today, if I thought on it overnight the offer would not be there tomorrow. He left pretty quickly once he realised that I would not be buying today.

Fitting went very well and although we had an issue with the alarm which kept going off that was soon resolved. BUT we have noticed over the last few months a nasty scuffing on the slats. They seem to be spaced equally along and have worn the brown away to the metal[ so we have silver streaks on the brown] My husband phoned the help line and was told that he should wash the door with water and a little detergent? Well how was this going to replace the brown . I was not at all happy with that and he will be ringing in again for a more helpful answer- a resolution to the problem and a repair. Obviously being scuffed inside the mechanism.

Our doors were fitted Dec 2017 reported faulty sept 2018 under warranty still and after repeatedly trying to get someone out to fix - utter failure. I have a garage I can't use/access. Totally disappointed and let down made worse by the fact my parents helped with the cost of fitting them - wish I'd never bothered. "Disgruntled nhs frontliner"

I booked a survey visit to replace a damaged single roller door. After the survey, the sales guy quoted an initial price of £2500 for a single door - my neighbour had a double door fitted by the same company for less than £2000 a few weeks before. I already had all the electrics etc in place. I then had two chasing phone calls from their office reducing the price to £1700 due to 'cancellations in my area'. I don't think so! If you go with them, don't accept the first price you get given! I'm now going to a local company that is both cheaper and has a bit better customer satisfaction rating.

Had them round for a estimate they were very vague about everything quoted me a stupid price when I said I can have the same product for £1400 less he then dropped his price to match... I told them at the beginning I wanted there very best price thank heaven I have a wonderfull son who dropped by who then proceeded to ask then to leave.. they got a bit funny about leaving saying they were invited.. my son then got his Gloucestershire police and warrant card out and just said your leaving now.. the look on there faces.. I cant comment on the quality of the work but I will say there sales approach was truely shocking.. dont allow these con artist into your home sign nothing and have your mobile phone on and record there conversation... I'm sure they will be out of business very soon passed the recording and video footage to trading standards

I would not recommend Crocodile doors to anybody.Their customer service is non existent. At huge expensive,(£3,780) we had Crocodile doors installed in 2015 at which time we rarely opened the garage as it was full of our children’s possessions. Once we were able to garage the car we found that every time we tried to shut the door it stuck half way. We contacted the number for the service engineer and he told us he no longer worked for them.We finally got through to the company who were most unhelpful. We told them the problem and they said they could do nothing without a visit which would cost in excess of £200.They then told us that it could be the battery which is Crocodile specific. We ordered one but it made no difference. We rang again and got no joy so we have been operating the door manually. We have recently found somebody who can repair the door. He said the door is OK but the safety edge system is a cheap and as a result it breaks the beam preventing the door operating properly. The connectors are cheap and do not offer security meaning the door can be broken into easily. On the basis of being over priced with very poor customer service we categorically would not recommend them.
